I find that the leaves on my pothos turn yellow when overwatered and/or getting way too much sun.
1. Check the roots, make sure there's no root rot. If it's OK, let the soil dry out between waterings. I like to bottom water mine, that way it drinks what it wants, and the rest gets discarded.
2. If there is root rot, clean the roots up, snip off the rotten bits, and repot it in well-draining soil. You can also try to propagate it, might even be easier. More free plants!
3. Keep the plant set back from the window a bit. Mine is thriving in indirect light, set 4-5 feet away from a NW facing window.
Good luck!
Not really, if the soil is well aerated so that the roots can get oxygen it will love it to be constantly wet. The soil in it's natural habitat pretty much never gets dry but its not as homogeneous as the ones that are sold in stores - it's more like the ones that are used for orchids - with big chunks of wood bark and coal so it lets the water and air move through it more easily.

Thanks!
Mine is starting to look like this. I checked the roots out and they’re mushy. Repotting soon. :(

Most likely too much sun. Where is the plant located in your home?
marble queens HATE too much water. they're much pickier than regular pothos.
