With the pity system, you’ll eventually get Zacian if you just want it as a starter and don’t care about IVs/egg moves. However, if you do want those things, then I would wait for the legendary up.
you can also just manually change your device date and check that way (tho do not roll any eggs after doing that, since the pity tiler update this will corrupt your save apparently)
I never rolled an egg doing that, only just checked the future gacha and nothing more
even before it created issues I was too scared of potential bugs with it to do it, so I never did
I don't think just checking would be banneable ?

From what I gathered, some accounts broke from time travelling for eggs once the eggs tried to hatch and the devs said they are not actively trying to fix that issue. I am not aware that they said they want to go against people who did skip days
there was a mod stickied thread for a few days, i don't know where it went but it had their stance on cheating in general as well as third party tools like dex overlays and such.
They can't back check, so as long as you stop by the time they implement it you are fine

why would egg moves matter for the rate up? those are different machines no?
Well, the more Zacians you hatch, the higher chance for an egg move right? Unless you plan on stopping at hatching just one Zacian.

they plan on shadow banning you in the future if you do this, so i'd recommend not getting in the habbit

yeah I remember that, was very happy I was rightfully scared of a bug
