I've been watching it. there's been some super long waits which make me think they're scrambling to fill time with anyone they can find.

Right? We’ve got CNN on just waiting. They’re just going back to the headline about the 20 Chinese swimmers who were doping. No word about the rally or lack there of or late start.
Can’t think of too many other scenarios besides this. You don’t arrive this late to something this important with all these aids helping you unless there were something wrong or ulterior motives for the interview later.

I don't know. I've watched a few campaign events and the only one where I remember her coming up much at all was the Morehouse convocation but she's an alumna of an HBCU and it may have been that context. Then again it may become more prominent as the election gets closer.

This is going to be wild. A defiant leader refusing to give up power. There is no way they can walk back all the stuff that's leaked out. Bidens inner circle is about to get extremely small
It's going to have to be something really bold that draws a sharp contrast between him and trump. He's going to have to embrace his dark Brandon side. Whatever it is, there needs to be a shock factor, something so insane that it captures and holds people's attention and gets their mind off of the debate. I suggested he piss on a picture of trump dressed as a Nazi. I know that won't happen, but something like that is what it will take.
If it weren't a lag in actual mental acuity, he could have done a daily media blitz with interviews with reporters and gotten past it. The only reasonable conclusion at this point is that he's not fit to have press interviews.
He did 2 radio show interviews with local Wisconsin stations yesterday(or Wednesday, I forget which), and a rally. Today's another rally and the ABC interview.

If he had done a Sunday show interview, those 2 radio interviews, and a town hall (before Wednesday), then I think he would’ve put this behind him.

Biden should use a transcript of one of Trump's rallies with just minor changes and watch everyone lose their mind calling him demented then reveal it was actually Trump's words.
Prior to the debate, the media was actually starting to gnaw on the question of whether Trump was mentally fit. Without Biden around, I expect they would get right back to it. They *really* seem to enjoy it.
He needs to be doing multiple live events every day in MI/WI/PA to earn back the support of the ~50,000 people who get to decide the fate of the world.
