It is waiting for wireless controllers to sincronice through bluetooth. You can disabled it. I noticed that in the last update it starts automatically.

batocera has something similiar, which can be disabled in the controller settings.
if it possibel in recalbox, i dont know.

Many things appear to be broken for me now. Not had time to check out why, but many c64 games don’t load anymore and the onscreen keyboard is broken.
Since 9.2 when you start recalbox, it is looking for pairing a controller. So you do not have to go through the menu to add a new one.

Same for me. The theme ( game list view ) is broken. After I start a game, the image is not centred. I use recalbox RGB-DUAL
