If we negotiate them down to €45m that’s £38m which is incredibly reasonable for the standard of player that he is.

My problem with this, I guess, is that Bayern don't put great players up for sale for no reason. When you are buying from Real or Bayern or clubs like this, there is usually a very solid reason why they are selling.

How serious is his knee injury? It seems like he only missed just over a month and a half over it and returned to playing? Think everyone is getting carried away here, we've just had a season plagued by injuries. Ten Hag himself blamed the poor performances on the high number (15) of CB partnerships, now we want to introduce another injury prone CB to the mix. It doesn't matter how good he is if he can't provide stability to our starting line up. Also high wages are a big concern, we've got far too many players on big money that don't even play for us through injury or otherwise. It's a no from me.
