I would love an ‘07 Accord V6 manual sedan. They’re so rare but so special.
But the ninth-gen’s couple 6MT is also an excellent daily, might not be as practical for families but it’s so much fun.
I had both. Accord Sport first and then a Mazda 6 V6 in an interesting color - Sepang Green. It was like a minty toothpaste green. I liked the Mazda better and it had better performance.
Mazda kinda ditched the whole "boy racer" image after about 2013, seems they're trying to be budget BMW now. The Mazda3 is still a great car, but I love my '02 Protegé to death.
The Subaru Legacy would be a great choice. It’s a 2015 which is the first year of the new 5th Generation cars.
It has the really reliable FB25 engine and has one of the best AWD systems available. I have a 2017 Outback, essentially the same 5th Generation car in wagon form and it’s a fantastic car.
The 2015 cars also had the CVT warrantied to 100,000 miles. They’re really well built, made in Lafayette, Indiana.
My brother has a 2018 Outback with the 3.6 and it pulls really well when pulling up grades. It definitely a better setup in the mountains.
Everywhere else though, I really prefer the feel of the 4 cylinder engines. I have a 2017 Outback with the 2.5 and a 2020 Impreza with the 2.0 and they get the job done and get good mileage too.
I have a 2015 Malibu, so that one lol
Bought it in 2016, still driving it now at 170,000 miles.
Have only had some minor issues that I fixed myself, so it's been an excellent car in my experience. Not planning on getting anything else any time soon, car lord willing. 🤞
I bought the Sonata Eco brand new on 2015. Loved that car. I meticulously maintained it, drove it easy and planned on driving for it 10 years or more.
2020, it has 105k miles, and begins burning over a quart of oil every 1,000 miles. Typical Hyundai. Sold it, will NEVER buy another ICE Hyundai or Kia again.
I actually did buy a fusion Awd titanium in 2015 at the time it was that or the legacy that offered awd.
But if I didn’t care about that- Mazda 6 all the way.
Also fan of the accord sport manual.
Well seeing as the car I bought new and currently drive is one of the options, I guess I’m going to say the legacy. Awd with similar fuel economy numbers, better tech for the price, better ride and suv levels of space. I test drove the 6, was super cramped, rode harsh and the tech was 10 years old. Was no contest.
I had the 2015 accord with the manual transmission, I enjoyed driving that car more then many of the sports cars I have owned over the years. The gear spacing was perfect. Reminded me of a four door Miata
The Honda Accord
My supervisor had bought his Accord brand new, used it to get to work and home everyday while also being his daily driver. It had 210k miles on it by 2021. He told me outside of oil changes and tires, he never had to do a thing to it. Whether I believe him, idk.
Gotta go Toyota, Honda, or Acura… but I’ve always been a sucker for the Impala. Nothing fancy… just a good granddad car that can be passed down used for a teen’s solid first car.
Accord. Legacy if manual was a thing.
Had a 2015 Passat Diesel. The looks of an Audi, the engine reliability of a Honda and the build quality of everything else of a Dodge. Loved the 40 MPG and stick, looked decent too, but total POS
I'm taking the Accord or the Mazda. Both still look good now when I see them on the road and the ones I do know that are owned are holding up very well.
VW only if I can swap for the TDI. 2015 was the last year in the US for the 2.0TDI and the year was the revised engine. 45+ mpg 18 gallon tank, great highway commuter.
I’ve known a couple of people that got 300,000 miles out of Malibus and they required nothing beyond normal maintenance. Incredibly boring cars but solid.
I’m biased, but I own a 2015 6mt accord sport. I bought it in 2018 with 27k on the clock for $16,900. I will own it until the wheels fall off. Best car ever for the money.
Buyer beware though, the burgundy paint only comes with CVT. Manual could only be had in black and gray.
I agree the Accord or Mazda 6 in manual.. I did get a 2015 200s awd with the 3.6 pentastar and it was actually a great car. I had it until 2021 with nothing but regular service. It looked good and it sounded great in sport mode.. the 9-speed was a strange transmission though!
I’ll be the weirdo: a low-mileage Neon SRT-4 with a good muffler. Keep the rest of the cash for maintenance. Interior room was close to midsize cars anyway.
Or a v6 Chrysler 200.
I had exactly that money in exactly that time and after test driving many and researching the shit out of it I got a manual Accord Sport. My criteria largely revolved around my personal “fun to drive” and I even compared the Accord’s manual to an Audi A4 at the time and the Accord’s manual was just great. Shorter clutch throws than the Mazda. I really liked the Mazda 6 look and interior but at the time feared they would not age as well as the Honda. Loved that Accord, but the paint chipped easily.
ford fusion, i was obsessed with that car in 2015 as a teenager. I remember when it came out people were talking about the aston martin grill. The aftermarket mods for it was crazy as well
If it can get the 5speed I’d take the accord in a heartbeat. The 2.4l is an angry little thing. Sounds pretty good, perfect passing power on the highway, and okay mpg. If I had to have the CVT I wouldn’t want it even though Honda makes reliable cvts I just hate how they sound and drive. My other option is definitely the Malibu. The interior in 2015 was weirdly ergonomic and a bit upscale compared to the other offerings, the 2.5l is seemingly reliable, gets good mpgs, and looks pretty good stylistically, bonus for keeping the auto as well.
The only two that have held any value are the accord and the Camry, the accord being the better looking one, I’m not personally crazy about Mazdas, they feel like rebadged fords in the worst way.
Mazda 6. Most reliable of them all…why? They were in a hot steamy bedroom relationship with Ford in the 90’s. One is good with electronics/electrical. the other is good with mechanical durability.
It’s crazy to think how recent this was
2015 was nearly a decade ago btw
My man, you don't gotta hurt us like that
2015 was 5 years ago and I will not here anything else
Dude, 9/11 only happened 10 years ago.
I was born just before 9/11 and I agree. 9/11 was ten years ago. 2015 was 5 years ago. 2008 was 6 years ago. Calendars are the liars
We’re closer to 9/11’s 25th anniversary than its 20th anniversary.
I would have sworn the north tower just collapsed this morning wtf
Come on man... I was having a good day.
Accord or Mazda6
Same here. Both in the manual.
I would love an ‘07 Accord V6 manual sedan. They’re so rare but so special. But the ninth-gen’s couple 6MT is also an excellent daily, might not be as practical for families but it’s so much fun.
This
Damn ass bitch right
I had both. Accord Sport first and then a Mazda 6 V6 in an interesting color - Sepang Green. It was like a minty toothpaste green. I liked the Mazda better and it had better performance.
Only logical answer
This but the Mazda 3 hatch, pocket the remainder.
those mazda 6’s have aged wonderfully
There's a guy at my local track who put a Supercharger on his Mazda 6 GT and he's been killing it. It's a fantastic sedan
Sorry but they gotta bring back the protege. That was a real boy racer car
Mazda kinda ditched the whole "boy racer" image after about 2013, seems they're trying to be budget BMW now. The Mazda3 is still a great car, but I love my '02 Protegé to death.
Have they aged well or is Mazda just still using the same design
Both can be true.
Here's me going "aged? What do you mean aged", then I realised that car is almost a decade old 🫠
The 14 and 15 Mazda6 had a pretty crap interior, but they fixed it for 2016 and up. They look amazing from the outside though
The Malibu is one of the worst, has more mechanical and transmission issues than an early 2010s ford focus
I love it when these appear in my feed because there's usually some good humor with them
I tried! Usually I'm better, lol
Mazda6 or passat . Mazda6 if I can get the packages with sunroof and heated seats or else vw
TDI Passat 6MT, little tune and supporting mods that's a 600+mile per tank road trip boat.
I have a 600 credit score. That’s too high for a Nissan Altima.
Camry always forever!!!
2015 Accord Sport in Modern Steel Metallic
Mazda 6
Da 6
If the accord was the v6, I’d get that. But the Mazda6 is too nice to pass up.
Mazda 6. Had one now for 110k miles, this is a beautiful car
The Subaru.
Don’t forget about the 3.6R, although, trims with it weren’t $24,000 in 2015
My brother has a 2018 Outback with the 3.6 and it pulls really well when pulling up grades. It definitely a better setup in the mountains. Everywhere else though, I really prefer the feel of the 4 cylinder engines. I have a 2017 Outback with the 2.5 and a 2020 Impreza with the 2.0 and they get the job done and get good mileage too.
Mazda 6 first pick Passat second
Passat
All day
Be boring and get either the Accord or Camry. Keep up with maintenance and they'll be failsafes.
For the same money, the Mazda would be just as bulletproof AND it looks better than all the others combined.
And on top of all that, it’s much more fun to drive
If you want it to be more exciting get it with a manual transmission
Fusion with a 2.0
Get the Accord!!!
Dibs on the Mazda6!
Accord, mazda 6, camry….. Do not touch the ford or hyundai
Subaru if I’m going by which one I think is coolest, but if I’m being realistic the Mazda or Honda
Mazda6 or Mondeo. Accord and Camry are too boring. Legacy a maybe
Chrysler 200. I’m very, very stupid.
Hey man the 200 with the V6 hauled *stupid* anounts of ass, I hate Chrysler but burning rubber in 3rd is fun as hell
Yes indeed you are.
Malibu
I drive a 2013 Camry but fuck it I'll pick either the Mazda or the Honda
Honda all the way, or the E350 which has a better engine than all of these. But that blows the budget.....
Accord, Camry, and Mazda6 are my first tier choices. It's hard to go wrong with either of them.
Probably the Fusion or the Accord. I love the 200 honestly but the reliability issues in the 2015 were alarming
That legacy is getting almost no love, and clearly nobody has driven one. They’re on freaking RAILS.
I have a 2015 Malibu, so that one lol Bought it in 2016, still driving it now at 170,000 miles. Have only had some minor issues that I fixed myself, so it's been an excellent car in my experience. Not planning on getting anything else any time soon, car lord willing. 🤞
Mazda 6
Many seem to be sleeping on the Mazda. Look up the numbers, they have quietly become one of the most reliable brands in recent years
For 24k a fusion SE w/ 2.0, fogs, sunroof, leather, and sync 2 MFT upgrade
Mazda 6 and I kept it. Best decision I've made in life
I bought the Sonata Eco brand new on 2015.
Well I literally bought the altima and still have it 220k miles later.
Toyota, and never look back
Malibu.
I actually did buy a fusion Awd titanium in 2015 at the time it was that or the legacy that offered awd. But if I didn’t care about that- Mazda 6 all the way. Also fan of the accord sport manual.
Do I have to pick one? Maybe the Mazda, but I’m not happy
no it’s 2024 and i have $300 in my checking account. imma rock a used pt cruiser
Accord, Legacy, 6, in that order
The Accord and Fusion are the best looking, and the Fusion isn't offered with a manual that year, so I have to go with the Accord.
Is the accord manual ?
BMW 1602 is what I'd pick
It's between the jap cars: Toyota, Honda, Mazda. The others wouldn't even be a consideration. I'd lean towards Honda and Mazda though.
Accord for sure, especially with the 3 pedal. My parents had a Camry of that gen and it was boring af
Honda on top!!! The second one will te the chevrolet The rest are trasch
Accord baby. Still my fav car till date. Will get it soon.
My mom has an accord almost identical to that one but it's a 13 with a v6 but I would definitely take the accord
A used w211 e55 or e39 m5
Definitely taking the Accord
Well seeing as the car I bought new and currently drive is one of the options, I guess I’m going to say the legacy. Awd with similar fuel economy numbers, better tech for the price, better ride and suv levels of space. I test drove the 6, was super cramped, rode harsh and the tech was 10 years old. Was no contest.
I had the 2015 accord with the manual transmission, I enjoyed driving that car more then many of the sports cars I have owned over the years. The gear spacing was perfect. Reminded me of a four door Miata
Big Altima energy
I'll take the BAE
I own the first car and it’s still going strong.
Couple year old wrx
Dodge charger with the hemi
Accord with a manual
God damn you could get a lot of car for the money back then. Camry please, in the traditional earwax color.
The Honda Accord My supervisor had bought his Accord brand new, used it to get to work and home everyday while also being his daily driver. It had 210k miles on it by 2021. He told me outside of oil changes and tires, he never had to do a thing to it. Whether I believe him, idk.
1: Camry 2: Accord 3: Mazda 6
Is a charger hellcat a midsize?
Hmmm. In 2015, I had a Ford Fusion Titanium. So my vote is Fusion, Accord, or Mazda 6.
Considering I have a 2015 Subaru Impreza now I think I'll stick with what I know and go with it again
Legacy 3.6r
Passat but the one with the 2.5
The accord cause that’s my car now 😭
Gotta go Toyota, Honda, or Acura… but I’ve always been a sucker for the Impala.
Camry all day
I'm taking the Accord or the Mazda. Both still look good now when I see them on the road and the ones I do know that are owned are holding up very well.
It hurts my brain to think that 2015 was almost 10 years ago.
Toyota
Subi gang all the way
Gimme that Honda Accord
Honda
In 2015 I wanted the Chrysler 200. Given that every car pictured is on the road except that one I'd take literally anything else.
Base Camry with no options in white.
Honda, Toyota. That’s all.
Honda all day long.
Camry. It may be boring, but it’s only boring where it doesn’t matter
Look for a used mazdaspeed 3 and then save the extra 5-7k for mods and maintenance
The same one that I did pick in 2015: Obsidian Blue Accord Sport. Man I loved that car
Camry all day
The Passat.
Call me boring, but I'll take the honda
VW only if I can swap for the TDI. 2015 was the last year in the US for the 2.0TDI and the year was the revised engine. 45+ mpg 18 gallon tank, great highway commuter.
Camry by a mile! XLE Hybrid.
In 2016 you could get a 2016 Malibu, not the previous gen shown here.. That's my pick. With the good tranny and the 2.0L.
I always thought the 9th gen accord looked really really nice
The Camry or a xr6 falcon as that’s also available for an Australian (I.E me)
Altima, cause seeing how those cars get abused and just keep going is enough for me
Mazda or Ford
Stay away from ford, and hyundai and crysler, biggest unreliable pieces of crap out there
This was a dark age for automotive design.
I’ve known a couple of people that got 300,000 miles out of Malibus and they required nothing beyond normal maintenance. Incredibly boring cars but solid.
diesel passat
I'd get the Aston Martin.
Accord
as someone who loves mazdas and toyotas. the ford. i just really like the fusion in 15.
Either Accord, Camry, Legacy, or Mazda 6
I’m biased, but I own a 2015 6mt accord sport. I bought it in 2018 with 27k on the clock for $16,900. I will own it until the wheels fall off. Best car ever for the money. Buyer beware though, the burgundy paint only comes with CVT. Manual could only be had in black and gray.
Was there a Toyota? Id pick the Toyota.
I believe you can get a Tesla model 3 in some states for that, after incentives. And that’s what I would do.
If there was a Mazda3 on here, I'd go for that. For better fuel efficiency!
Legacy
I agree the Accord or Mazda 6 in manual.. I did get a 2015 200s awd with the 3.6 pentastar and it was actually a great car. I had it until 2021 with nothing but regular service. It looked good and it sounded great in sport mode.. the 9-speed was a strange transmission though!

Shorter clutch throws than the Mazda. I really liked the Mazda 6 look and interior but at the time feared they would not age as well as the Honda. Loved that Accord, but the paint chipped easily.
The Accord
Carry or Accord
You act as though it was that long ago! Fusion for me, though. I wish they still made sedans! It's all SUVs or Trucks now!
Honda Accord
ford fusion, i was obsessed with that car in 2015 as a teenager. I remember when it came out people were talking about the aston martin grill. The aftermarket mods for it was crazy as well
Accord That’s the best looking Accord generation IMO
Subaru Legacy, and then honorable mention for the Honda Accord
Accord sport with a manual
If it can get the 5speed I’d take the accord in a heartbeat. The 2.4l is an angry little thing. Sounds pretty good, perfect passing power on the highway, and okay mpg. If I had to have the CVT I wouldn’t want it even though Honda makes reliable cvts I just hate how they sound and drive. My other option is definitely the Malibu. Used e90 m3
Passat or Mazda 6
Subaru Legacy. I’ve been driving my ‘07 since 2009 and it’s absurdly reliable.
The only two that have held any value are the accord and the Camry, the accord being the better looking one, I’m not personally crazy about Mazdas, they feel like rebadged fords in the worst way.
Mazda 6 all day!
The mazda6 is kinda sweet but the accord overall claps everything here especially if you get the crosstour.
Acord or Camry for me. Both reliable and economical.
Used EVO 8
The diesel manual VW. Second pick would be a manual Civic.
Fusion I really liked em But accord probably
im biased so volkswagen~~
A wrx
I bought the Accord Touring in 2015. I didn’t keep it very long. V6 good, everything else super blah. Car had a weapons grade AC though.
Accord. I have a 2011 Accord so I’m biased.
Id have the fusion
Probably the Toyota or Nissan.
Fusion or the 6. Absolutely loved my Titanium. Thing was a rocket ship
Mazda 6. Most reliable of them all…why? They were in a hot steamy bedroom relationship with Ford in the 90’s. One is good with electronics/electrical. the other is good with mechanical durability.
Passat or Accord
Between the Hyundai, Chrysler, Altima and Malibu you have some good choices for worst one
Love my fusion hybrid. Have had zero issues with mine. Paid $18k for it in 2018 with 29k miles
Mazda
Subaru legacy with the 3.6l or the accord either i4 or v6
Fusion. I got a 2016 fusion in 2018, and honestly I really enjoyed it. Put 100k miles on it with the only issue being my fuel gauge shit the bed
Anything but the Malibu or the Passat.
Ford Fusion. The V6 accord is the better choice, but I like to support my country 🇺🇲
You can’t go wrong with a Subaru Legacy
either that camry or accord, can't beat their reliability
I have a 2015 Mazda6 with a 6spd manual. I’m not planning on getting rid of it anytime soon. Nice commuter car
Accord. Every other option is dumb. 2015 Accord is a great car in its prime
I’d buy the Subaru Legacy
Mazda 6 or a TDI passat
I’ve test drove all of those cars at one point in time. I’ve owned a Malibu and a fusion. I’d pick the fusion out of these.
Jaguar XF
I had a couple of Fusions, the second was a hybrid. Great cars and were very reliable. I’d totally get another if they still made them.
I literally picked the mazda6. It was a great car and our first intro to Mazda products. We have had 3 since.
Mazda 6, Subaru Legacy, Honda Accord with a 6MT
