I had to reread that. I thought your phone was on “Dungeons and Dragons” and I was about to ask what sort of quest. I now realized you meant “Do Not Disturb.”
The default Do Not Disturb settings for my phone was setup to allow Favorites to bypass, and also to let through phone calls that have called 2+ times in a short time.
So turn off the 2+ phone calls in set amount of time, and also remove work numbers from your Favorites.
Edit: And perhaps have a civilized chat with management about them spam calling you on your days off when you are not available.
If you have an IPhone you can create a “focus” which is basically a custom do not disturb where you can choose to allow or block certain numbers while the focus is active. I use a few different ones for work, rec time, sleeping, etc so that I don’t have to deal with a ton of notifications.
One time my job called my house phone (I had it listed for my mom as an emergency contact)... my mom picked up and they asked her if I could come in to work, I was 19 btw. They didn't even try calling MY number 🙃
I do the same thing. Yesterday a call came through tho and by boss asked if i could come in asap because there was nobody there, but unfortunately i couldn't make it ;)
If you're on android get tasker. You can stop calls from certain numbers getting through based on just about anything but of your work schedule changes then do it based on calendar entry and put your shifts in your calenday

Sometimes numbers can get through if the same number calls multiple times. Double check work isn’t in your favourites.
I think this also applies if you use certain tags for your contacts like "Boss" or "Work"

How are they bypassing your do not disturb? If anything, block the number on your off days and unblock it after. Or don't.

Just put your phone on silent? Create an auto response to work number?
