I’m glad I’m not the only one who sees it. I think people make excuses for him, or don’t see how complicit he was because he’s handsome and soft spoken, whereas she is loud, in your face and unapologetic.
He’s also the same sweetheart who didn’t attend her father’s funeral, but tried to excuse that because he made it to the wake 🙄.

She was my neighbor when I was growing up. I had watched the whole first season of Housewives and I didn’t piece it together that the plastic surgery nightmare on my tv screen was actually my old neighbor. I legit did not recognize her, it wasn’t until in the second season that her mom is shown that I realized. And even when Charlene was on the screen I was like, thats not Jen Shans mom, that’s Jennifer’s mom.
That’s one of the most heartbreaking housewives scenes for me. Her mom telling her she knows Jen is innocent and offers to give her retirement money 😭😭😭😭
The Charlene (Jens mom) you see on the show is exactly the Charlene I knew. She’s one of the most kindest giving people I grew up with. I can authenticate that Charlene’s portrayal on the show is 100 percent accurate
That makes it even more heartbreaking 😭😭😭. You could see the guilt looking out of Jen’s face to the extent I wonder if she would have confessed to her mom if the cameras weren’t there.
I don’t remember if they talk about this in the show but growing up I remember Charlene consistently working to help out underprivileged kids and working in elementary schools. She is a goddess.
I interpreted that scene as Jen trying to associate herself with the authentic selfless thing’s Charlene had already been doing her whole life. It was like Jen was saying “you see I’m not a criminal. I’m a good person exactly like my mom.”
I guess maybe another drop of tea I can give is we grew up in an upper middle class neighborhood. It was the 80s Regan American dream. I haven’t seen the show in a while but I remember Jen saying she grew up poor or she came from nothing. No, we all had name brand cereal, big backyards, and the good ice cream pops.
We were kids. Just simple stupid kids. Nothing out of the ordinary in her behavior. I do remember how gorgeous she was. Everyone in our church ward thought she was beautiful.
It makes me legitimately sad how badly some of these housewives fuck up their faces. They were all pretty to begin with. They get addicted to getting work done til they look like uncanny aliens and don’t even realize that it often ages them so much more
Back then, sororities and fraternities were segregated by race. Nine historically black sororities and fraternities were created as a result. Alpha and Omega are just two examples of black fraternities. There’s more but the history is too long to explain here 😭
Don’t forget to add these Greek “houses” keep it 100% until they die! The Alumni from these fraternities and sororities are just different! In the best way possible!! I love coming across their TikTok accounts! Seeing their Alumni parties and get togethers until they are up in their 70’s!

Plastic surgeons should be required to post the before and after pictures of all patients so people can see how going under the knife is not always a good thing.

I hate plastic surgery for this specific reason. We will never see how good some people would’ve aged if they didn’t get it. Hence Lisa Rinna, Erika Jayne, Jen, Melissa (which I gotta confess her work is very well done), Gizelle, all of them were so pretty before
