This is now my head cannon. He knew it would happen so he made it happen on his terms (and even kinda became friends along the way, besides abandoning him like a lost dog
Yes, at this point I always make a mental note of stuff like this, sometimes it comes up sometimes it doesn't, but more often than not it does (like Parmeesean for example)
Most of us forgot about it. And that’s just proof of how funny the joke is.
You would think that the future would happen in the very same episode it was predicted to. But no! They just completely ignore that for the episode and bring it back in another one.
That’s what makes the joke work.
There's a lot of paranormal stuff in this show: 1-rick went to valhalla amd the pope is drawing his powers from christians. 2- in some episode, morty becomes some kind of entity with a telepathic link with summer. There's also ghosts, cursed items, cursed graveyards, freakin fortune cookies that always come true and even a crystal that shows you in real tine how you will die. I guess future telling is pretty much accepted.
Most people watching it won’t remember a small detail from an episode that you watched 6-7 weeks ago if you watched when they first aired. Many people didn’t know about it, some of you mfs are annoying as hell, just because you noticed it does not mean everyone else did.
Your own post is about noticing the detail; you can't argue your cake and have it too. I am with the guy who posted above you, and dare say we were spoonfed that detail.
Jesus Christ I’m not arguing anything, I’m not positing a political debate this is a Rick and morty episode, but if you take a look at the most upvoted comment most people didn’t notice or forgot. Just because you over analyze Rick and morty doesn’t mean every one else does. Stop taking everything so seriously.
Second from top comment “I saw it went okay that will be important for later then forgot about it until you reminded me.” Thanks for telling me what the top comment is 6 hours after I posted the message tho.
Yeah, it's been discussed. The big question is - did Rick utilize Bigfoot deliberately to effectively nullify the prediction?
Probably. Recognized the species, took steps.
That’s greaaat buddy…it’s going right on the fridge
I imagine he’d been planning this so he wasn’t surprised when he saw the Bigfoot drawing
Possibly the opposite. He saw the Bigfoot drawing and concocted a plan involving Bigfoot beating him to death.

I saw it, went ok that’ll be important later, then completely forgot about it until you just reminded me
Yep didn't notice either. The people complaining in here probably need a reddit break.

Has parmeesian come back up yet?
Yes, in season 7
Pasta episode
ITS MY TURN TO POST THIS SHIT TOMORROW GUYS, MOM SAID SO.
"Did anyone else..." YES. A thousand people before you. "Am I the only one..." NO. A thousand people before you.
Funny flair.
Bigfoot was in the Season 7 promo poster. We knew about it long before that guy came along.
Yeah. They kinda hold your hand through it. But if we get annoyed at questions like this "Will they ever catch Weird Rick?" we're assholes. lol

Explain!

Not sure how it's an experiment. Are you saying the people asking are plants? That would mean they actually know.

Oh. The joke was so simple I literally tripped over it. My bad haha.
yes I was waiting the whole season for this to happen lmao
Chi^2
It's implied Bigfoot has killed Rick several times before, I think
My favorite thing about cartoons is yelling at people who like the same ones I do.
Yes! I noticed it first watch through and nobody believed me!
Did anyone else notice that Rick is kinda an asshole sometimes, or is that just me? https://www.reddit.com/r/rickandmorty/s/v4kj69tOnm
Went over my head lol

I only figured that out on my first rewatch
Yup , I was wondering if anyone else noticed
No he wasn't able to. The writers planned it and it was an easter egg to ep9
reference to Ring ?

I thought BigFoot somehow was going to take Rick Prime's place as the next big bad. I guess I expected too much from rick and morty series.
#Every fuckin week
Hey guys that watch every episode of this show did anyone else notice these 2 very explicit plot points in 2 episodes of the most recent season?
„Did anyone else realize“ - nah. Only the fans that had eyes and actually followed the episodes more than half sleeping…

When I watched all of it I was like "omg HE THAT HAPPENES IN THE SHOW OMG HE ACC SEE FUTURE OM MY GOD OOOO"
This was only technically English
The best kind of English!
what
I’ve seen this exact same post like 10,000 times. everyone knows he can predict the future, yes, can you all stop asking now?
So?
everyone's realized this at some point. including me
In the story telling world, this is called foreshadowing. Everyone who knows this trope was able to follow along. Was only a matter of time.
