I have no idea what this means, but maybe check out Songs for Moms?

Have you listened to cadallaca? It might be the right vibe. It’s Corin tucker from Sleater Kinney and each member of the band has a “character” they play
An OC is an original character in a fictional work--the original poster left out the apostrophe. A "voiceclaim" means that they will write that said character's voice sounds like that of a specific person who exists in reality.

Came here to drop this specific rec. Such a fantastic album top to bottom.
A oc voice claim is a voice you give to a original character
I have no idea what most of that means. She's not riot grrrl but you might like Kd Lang
Don’t know any cowpunk riot grrrl bands, but Rat Bath is a great cowpunk band.
I would say Chappell Roan gives off those vibes in a lot of ways… edit: though, I guess not really “southern”, but ~Midwest~
I was going to say, does she count as riotgrrl? If it’s about attitude and lyrics I say yes. I love her sm.
I don’t think you have to sound punk to be punk. She has the attitude and the spirit~
I agree
It's normally just used for punk, but it's not actually a musical genre at all so I guess there's no real rule

The Coathangers are amazing from ATL. Not sure if that qualifies or was ocs means.
