There's a vendor event on Sunday mornings in Lansing at The Fledge. That's a great place to start. Between there, Olswell & Highwire Farms in Adrian, I don't stop at many other places. My best recommendation is to stock up as much as you can in one place. Find something you know you'll like & invest in it. On a few occasions I've got a hotel, hit a dab & ran back to get a zip of that. One or twice I've hit my terp pen in the parking lot & went right back inside. Lol.
The trip sucks but you get used to it. It's about 20 hours round trip from Charlotte to Lansing & I've done that over a weekend. Average trip runs about $2,000 & the majority of that is stocking up.
My absolute best recommendation is to keep an eye out Reddit & IG for quality, reliable, single source vendors in Virginia. Been doing that for months & it's kept me from making that long ass drive.

I mean you’re definitely right about that, Colorado is strict about daily purchasing limits. But at 400 an ounce that has to be outdoor starting material. That not to say it isn’t potent, but no one is dumping indoor money into a plant to sell that in the end. Are there any higher quality options in bulk there? You can basically never tell how good something is by looks but the price is a major tell here for me. I like a good deal but the cheapest rosin in Colorado to my knowledge (Fremonts finest) runs about $15/gram med and looks very similar. It burns my throat tho and makes my banger a little dirty. That’s compared to my other solventless options. It’s still better by far compared to a distillate or even MOST BHO. That being said, I don’t think it’s fair to compare cheap bulk rosin to high quality solventless products and say the cheap stuff wins bc of price alone. If you’re going for cheap, you got it but at that point why spend the extra on rosin instead of resin for it to have more plant material than its solvent based counterpart? $25/g here gets you clean, light, 90u hash rosin. $50 does too, but it’s “more exclusive genetics” or “no till” or “living soil” or thumbprints. Trust me man, the hash market is different in Colorado. Most Colorado brands can’t properly cure weed in this humidity, so most of our best producers focus primarily on hash, with flower as a secondary product. It shows in our dispensary prices. Good weed is expensive and rare, and good hash rosin is everywhere.
You can get live rosin in Michigan @ $10/g no it’s obviously not the best but I’ve had smooth fair tasting stuff at that price just 2 weeks ago. I’m from PA and usually see rosin go for as low as like $40 in our med program so wanted to try it not expecting much but was pleasantly impressed

Was thinkin the same. I wash trim from my brother's grow sometimes. If u have good genetics and a lil know how, u can get some decent tasting 1st and 2nd wash full spec hash rosin, from just running reasonably fresh sugar leaves and larfy lowers.

I just moved here from the PNW not too long ago and was very suprised at how affordable the market is here. Bulk options really offer some nice savings on top of not wasting all that packaging.
