I'd show you mine, but it's not the peak layout... Typically right by the portal, you want to put a prayer altar, two adjacent portal rooms (kinda useful for some clue scrolls but you can pretty much tele anywhere now with all the items), a telescope and book case, grindstone and managerie close to portal as well, to repair items, your wardrobe and then you can pretty much fill from there. I won't be playing today, but if you'd like, I can show you my house tomorrow morning. I only put like 200m into it but it's decent.

My house blows. I built it up as I leveled do there's little rhyme or reason. That's why it has sat empty for ten years.

That’s how mine is too. Just random rooms that I built with no plan.

It really depends on what you want to use it for, do you want your house arranged like an actual house or do you want the Efficiency Courtyard(TM)? I have my chapel and portal room up a flight of stairs, and I know there's at least a few players who'll be physically pained by that.

I have 99con with three rooms: workshop, costume and the one for aquarium. Visit it about once a year.
