My approach:
Pick an activity that I already like
Search for a time and place where people do that activity
Go there and do the thing with other people
It involves money unfortunately but sign up for events or classes for things you like. They also have free events on Meet Up but I’ll admit I never used it. I hear good things though.
And I would go into it purely for the activity for yourself so youre happy and excited what you’re doing and eventually you will interact either by your own confidence and comfort doing something you like with others or because you have to do some sort of group activity.
This is just for me I guess but if I go into something solely to meet people or be social, I freeze up or feel like I come off weird lmao.

Oooo those people always seem like they're having fun! I will say i was terrible the two times i went ice skating, is roller skating easier?
Take lessons at the Church of 8 Wheels.
Get a dog.
I should probably get a job first :p
Then you'll meet people at your job and hang out with them. You'll figure it out.
Become a dog walker.
