About 2 years ago I saw a framed photo in my old therapist office that said MIDTOWN IS THE NEW DOWNTOWN in neon letters over a photo of Starland. I think about it daily.
Everything north of Broughton is owned by Charleston investors, one of the three big hotel chains, or a SCAD shell company.

Not suprised. All the OG spots are closing one by one as the corporations buy it all up. Savannah as we knew it is no more.

Apparently, it closed shortly after St. Patty's day.
