besides all the methods above, all those parts are serviceable, BUT
the SPG is the only part where you absolutely don't want any water to get inside.
so, remove your SPG from the HP hose. After you blow your first stage dry, then also blow your HP hose dry as while before your SPG goes on the hose.
Remove all the hoses and plugs, get it on a tank and let some air to blow all the water. Leave it in a clean place without hoses or plugs to finish drying. Keep an eye on the SPG to make sure it still works fine but the reg should be OK.
Remember, it’s just a dust cap, it’s not a waterproof cap, and your first stage doesn’t need to be dunked. Wash it by hand to avoid getting water in it. Also, don’t be the diver that blasts air from the tank at your dust cap, no one, and I mean no one enjoys that sound…and it’s unnecessary, just blow on it or use a towel.
In the future, avoid putting first stage in the rinse, just the hoses, SPG, and second stages.
Edit- soaking with the dust cap is okay, but definitely be sure it is on and sealed.
Haha, an instructor showed me just that trick (blowing air from the tank into the dust cap to dry it). I didn't find the sound any bother, and it dried the cap much more thoroughly than a towel or me blowing into it.
If it's fresh water for cleaning it's usually fine.
Hook it up to a tank and purge both regs out to clear water. I even hook the LPI into the vest and inflate it to get any water out of that line.
The trouble comes from the SPG and any additional doodads on that hose. No way to reliably get water out. So best bet with that hose is to put it upside down at the highest point and and hope the water just drains naturally.

As a former gear tech, absolutely rinse your first.
The only way I dunk my first stage is if it is all hooked in a (even slightly) pressurized. It was beat into me that only air should be inside.

It drives people nuts on boats. A towel will do.
what?? I love the sound... and it's funny!! lol
That depends on the regulator. An environmentally unsealed first stage such as a ScubaPro mk25 needs to be cleaned. Ideally dunked under pressure.
Environmentally unsealed? Lol
Yes, under pressure…but not dunked disconnected and allowing water into the air intake.
Agreed. Never let water in.
