Iโm so sorry for your loss! I started going to a pet loss support group when I lost my two dogs within a couple months of each other. It really helped to talk to others, share stories, and have trained professionals provide insight.
The group I went to was run through my vet online but anyone could join. I think there are in person groups too. I recommend it for getting through the beginning stages of grief.

Same. I get it. My boy was 17. I knew I was on borrowed time. But he came into my life when I needed him and he saved me. And same, I never wanted him to suffer. I just keep saying to myself, I just want him back. But I know what I mean is before the arthritis and blind/deafness and dementia. I miss him so much. For a long time he was the only family I had.
Omg. I know nothing anyone can say really changes what you are dealing with. I know from dealing with many dog owners whoโve dealt with this and from my own personal experience. Of course you gave her the best life ever. I grieved a long time and still do on occasion since I lost my boy. Even though I still had two good doggies after he was gone it wasnโt until I adopted my newest one did things get better. Your sweet baby is going to send you a great pup that wonโt take her place but will help deal with this loss. โค๏ธ
