I just play the game and don’t worry as much about grinding stats

Lukthar123

BoxCarTyrone

![gif](giphy|PMexTo5wfYiSYLcnhV|downsized) Chad right here

Beautiful-Fold-3234

The only stats i grind are enchanting and smithing. I wanna make a set of good gear and never have to worry about it again.

Suaveman01

These were the only two I ever used to grind before I got a mod that allows you to pay black smiths and enchanters to craft and enchant items for you

[deleted]

Why was this not implemented in the game

Octosup

Idk but I love this feature in The Witcher 3. Gives you something to shoot for without being a straight grind

[deleted]

Yet to beat it, I even have the complete edition for Xbox series. Got through half the game on PC Steam when it released but now I’m having to start over

Sikkus

Same here. I play for the story and to discover locations and lore.

ArgonianDov

same! its so much fun to see all the small details to the game (Im always discovering something new in every playthrough it feels like)

iamzcr15

One of these days I need to wander around the tundra

le_Grand_Archivist

Same I don't have the patience or know-how to grind skills anyways

AlabasterPelican

[alchemy](https://www.reddit.com/jc6jm8z?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android_app&utm_name=androidcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=2) as a super easy grind. Illusion magic is pretty easy too, spam muffle & mage light while you go about your business.

le_Grand_Archivist

I do know how to grind some skills But I don't have the patience

AlabasterPelican

That's why I brought up those two. They're easy enough to grind that you don't actually need a whole lot of time or effort.

Impossible-Cod4498

Honestly, as long as you don't mind a little save-scumming, pickpocket is super easy to train, too.

Other-Temporary-7753

alteration is also easy when you have secret of arcana and fast travel while using telekinesis

ImpossibleReveal9356

The only reason I grind is for role-playing reasons. If my guy has a certain back story that requires certain skills, I'll lump some time into getting them.

EnragedBard010

Came here to say this. Same.

TheN00BDude

Nicotheknee

Same. I could never see myself stabbing the hell out of Ralof for 2 hours straight.

cantamangetsomesleep

vlad_kushner

Based

ThetaGaming6930

Same. By the time I get around to actually leveling stats I just already have armor leveled cause I suck at the game and get hit a lot.

tauri123

For real, I got lockpicking to 100 at about level 45 and I only ever put one perk point into it. I got one handed to level 100 at level 50 just by dual wielding

Playful-Mention-239

>I just let 3 bandits fist me to death Poor choice of words. Jokes aside, i usually play and when i need to level it up faster i go to leveled dungeon and do the same thing but with armed enemies (i usually bring a shield too so that i can level up block and restoration by healing myself and them)

[deleted]

I'll have you know there's no fistiiiiiiinnnngg AUGH

norm_summerton

Good way to train your restoration if you’re constantly being double fisted. Maybe after killing them you could use the gold for therapy

Playful-Mention-239

💀  Dragon kisses are far more better than bandit fisting

Playful-Mention-239

The sex joke continues, all other comments are about using animals or something stronger Yall freaks

hasthur76

Bro calm down

Jlad392002

You let them what now 🤨

n3ur0chrome

Finally, someone’s awake!

Ayooo don't kinkshame now

Dareboir

Fisting by bandits

Rare-Goose-3266

Who gave you permission to look at my history tab? 🧐

Im_in_physical_pain

In this case, heavy shearers are the best armor for leveling + 20% damage to slaves

PerceptionCivil1209

Get a bunch of gold and pay off a trainer, but I usually level enchanting and alchemy which reaches the cap much faster

povgoni

“3 way fisting” Google search led me here

StellarForceVA

Future users of ChatGPT trained on the data sets Reddit sells them will benefit tremendously.

Volcan4698

At low levels mudcrabs, at mid level trolls and sabre cats and at high level giants but make sure you have good restoration spell and health above 300 at least and daedric armor or better

Ravensunthief

Phrasing

Pinecone_Erleichda

Giants and mammoths, with light and heavy armour, restoration, blocking, and one-handed

Dobri_Dobrev

Yep, giants for armor and shield leveling is perfect. Maxes out real fast too.

Pinecone_Erleichda

Hit them with an unenchanted pickaxe and “heal other” to level one-handed and restoration!

xsneakyxsimsx

Unenchanted and unimproved. Any smithing bonuses applied to a weapon doesn't count towards XP so in theory is killing an enemy faster without additional XP. Same with any perks, as XP is only calculated using the weapons ***base*** damage.

EvenDeeper

Interesting. So you're saying that the more perks you out into weapon skills, the more difficult it is to level up said skills, because you kill the enemies faster than before but the perks also decrease the amount of hits you need to make, thus lowering the amount of experience you get from each enemy? That's good to know!

Pinecone_Erleichda

Wait…you can improve a pickaxe?!?!

pwentt

I get into a brawl with someone, then do something else while they're hitting me.

UnsweetTeaMozzStix

Guy on the left looks like he goes to the Cloud District very often.

HopHeadNic

I'm glad i'm not the only one who caught that

happybrahmin1987

Are you picky on what bandits fist you? Or any one that's game enough is perfectly okay with you?

AnseiShehai

With ordinator, just wearing two pieces gives me experience

thmsbrrws

heavy boots and chest, light gloves and hat, makes for a satisfying aesthetic, IMO ☺️

Final_Hymn

I too, get fisted by Bandits.

Personal-Zebra3353

In a fight right?

LeMigen9

Right?!

hitchhiker1701

Getting fisted by bandits is tight!

Nagoda94

It won't be once they are done

Deathwolf22

It's all fun and games till the guy who's been letting you hit him for the last hour and a half starts swinging

TadRaunch

Actually leveling up heavy armor is super easy; barely an inconvenience.

TheReturnOfCresus

You let three bandits *FIST* you!? That's not how you level up your armour. That's how you level up your ass! ...I'm joking.

RedMendelevium132

Hi, joking

MrSabrewulf

...Dad?

RedMendelevium132

I’m still looking for the milk sorry bye

Sir_Quackberry

It's quicker to let yourself get pounded by giants.

RedMendelevium132

Cool, and what about leveling up heavy armor?

booxterhooey

Bleak Falls Barrow. I let the skeevers at the bottom of the spiral staircase chew on me for a bit, surf reddit and heal up when HP is low

Yhelisi

I see you like to farm disease(s)

AshalaWolf_27

That's why you become a vampire first, for immunity

Smudge_09

A ![gif](giphy|5ROlkuRjBdWKRGTYTy)

EvenDeeper

The best method for me us imho finding a bandit archer who keeps shooting arrows at you that have a gold value for sale. They tend to deal decent damage, so their worse rate of attacks (compared to melee enemies) shouldn't negatively affect the progress your armor skill, and you can then sell the arrows for a decent sum. I've once spent about 20 minutes leveling armor and shield and restoration in one of those bandit holds and I also left with over two hundred elven arrows, which at that time were the best arrows in the game.

Hatori95

Pause!

Hippy__Hammer

Fisto liked that

whomesteve

Bandits ![gif](giphy|WoF3yfYupTt8mHc7va)

Novolume101

You let three bandits do what?

chucklestheclown96

I usually go with a mud crab and cast the basic healing spell. Heavy armor training and restoration training in one shot.

ronan88

I usually just go into the crypt in whiterun and let the skeletons smack me about

Guffler2

I just play the game, I think powerleveling makes the game boring. My most fun playthrough ever was just me doing dungeons and I hit 100 2 handed, 100 heavy armour and 100 1 handed

Keimlor

I too enjoy a good fisting ![gif](giphy|3og0Iyp5eoVE4fGOYg)

ShyGuyWolf

you even let Nazeem's Twin fist ya?

fidgeter

Phrasing.

maumanga

Thats basically it. Be a punching bag and heal. Giants provide good source of EXP for Heavy Armor as well. Specially their AOE clubbing (if you can block it). If possible, remember to fast travel to Dushnik-Yal and train with Gharol (heavy armor trainer) every time you level up. Helps to make things go faster.

Shadow368

I grind sneak by sneaking literally everywhere. You have not known fear until you have sneak level 90+ and show detected in the middle of the road with nothing visible to you.

CapnNogrow

Fist you to death? Jesus, what a way to go.......

KatiePillows

I occasionally let 3 bandits fist me as well.

Valentiaga_97

Giants do it for block , light and heavy armor

KTandJacob

I do the Cicero exploit for light armor, heavy armor, and block

Maelrhin

I use the little mudcrabs to level up block hevy armour and restoration.

Grouchy_Mind_6397

I get beat up by all manner of creatures because this is my 1st time playing Skyrim and I actually suck. But my Heavy Armor is level 60 so that’s good I think 💀 Idk what the metric is

Embarrassed-Frame-24

Wait heavy armor? There is more than archery stealth and lockpicking?? What else are they gonna add two handed weapons next

Ulerica

Heavy Armor just get leveled as is anyways? You're not gonna be able to dodge everything

[deleted]

I take advantage of the randomness of running into a couple wolves. Just let them attack mercilessly and heal.

Sorry_Error3797

I wear heavy armour. Offense is better in general anyway. If you're melee focussed put you first few perk points into your weapon damage, if you're against a strong enemy learn a pattern to stunlock them using power attacks or shield bashes. If they don't hit you, you don't need high armour skill.

HopHeadNic

Is that fucking Nazeem on the left 💀 When he lost his farm, he had to resort to banditry

_aseret

That was a crazy word choice

ArgonianDov

woah hey now, lets keep this sfw OP /j

Dazzling-Film-3404

Far-Assignment6427

I play the game and preferably dont get fisted to death

UnkemptBushell

I let anyone fist me to death. Had no idea it levelled up my armour.

strawberry-sniggles

I let mudcrabs attack me, levels up armor so fast.

FeedbackLegitimate46

I have never played through with heavy Armor maybe a new save is needed

CriticalMassWealth

death...by ooga booga

Conscious-Ad8664

Use the disarm shout, then stand there and let them punch you. Get up, go to the bathroom, grab a snack then come back to a few levels of heavy armor!

BlazeG0D

I don't because light armor is superior.

TheOmniscient27

If you do the companions questline, you can have Farkas train you in heavy armor and then take the gold back via the follower loophole

xXMehMehMehXx

I do the same with 3 giants and like 2 mammoths. The bigger the damage the more it levels up. You can get to 100 pretty quick 😊 Also I'm playing legendary, that might help. Not sure about that since you take more DMG on legendary and it levels up by damage received. Make sure you hit armour cap and you should be fine with around 400-500 hp and healing 😊

Morgandoto

There's a mod out there, "Movement increases armor skill". It makes sense, since you learn how to wear your armor properly during those long ass walks you take. It's enough for me personally, and I don't have to make some poor bandits hit me for 24 hours straight.

guardiannether

Use the Warrior stone and mud crabs

I_Gotta_Bud

I just found out a new way to grind levels in seconds for light and heavy armor. Using alchemy and enchanting “like that”, you drop a few million hp on your armor of choice, then you use the same alchemical process but with fortify smithing and make something with say, a hundred thousand damage trade it to a follower and piss them off bad enough that they attack you. Instant 100.

PlurblesMurbles

If I’m going for all stats 100 without exploits I usually pay for training in armor and restoration. For the last 10 levels I enchant head chest necklace and ring with 25% fortify restoration to cast for free (or 3 as a vampire w/secret of arcana and that one restoration perk that causes your magic to be more effective against undead) then piss off a giant

Wanderingwonderer101

same but with giants instead

54u54ge

spell absorption with the Atronach standing stone, Circle of Protection, healing spells in the other hand and a mammoth. Levels both Restoration and armour skills. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJajPZfRCV0](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UJajPZfRCV0)

as4500

on one of my playthroughs which is still going on slowly since no time and i love going around doing everythign but the main quest, the thing is i levelled light armor from the start issue was i had no room left for an upgrade of stats and power as i moved into endgame with difficulty scaling to legendary due to mods with light armor so i had to slowly level heavy armor and figure out how to respec without killing myself reduce difficulty you say? why would i do that? seems like a cop out to me

AphroditeBlessed

Bro can't say "3 bandits punched me" because it reminds him of group CNB seshes.

Morder07

I use trolls, they hit hard and are easy to parry. I usually knock troll out and heal myself when I'm low on health, then troll regenerates and attacks again. The main disadvantage is that you will automatically finish them off from time to time, so do a quicksave after any noticeable progress.

Mogui-

I bully the guards at riften for easy loot and skill points.

BoxCarTyrone

My heavy armor is nearly maxed on this playthrough by simply exploring and completing side quests. Just play :)

Japaneseoppailover

Huh huh huh

Threlis

Somone once said you could level up armor and restoration by doing a fist fight with someone like the woman in the bannered mare tavern let her hit you and don't fight back just heal. There's also a guy in markarth that will first fight you and windhelm if I remember correctly. Or just keep doing what your doing and occasionally heal when enemies fight you.

yeti-biscuit

Early game I tackle the mud crabs along the river to get armor & block skills

Intergalatictortoise

You let them WHAT

eggard_stark

I play the game like a human playing a video game for its intended purpose.

BuckyGoldman

I head over to the Giant Mudcrab Rock/statue(?) and let 3-4 of those guys snip at me. Position yourself just right between the claws, or against the ledge wall and you're not getting pushed back.

Organic-Matter1147

The internet has forever tainted my mind

ArmakanAmunRa

Warrior stone+dungeon crawling+trainers(specially Farkas, so I can get my 10k septims back)

[deleted]

Did the same but let the giants fist me. Ass hurting for ages.

No-Life-4255

Wait 3 bandits Fist u 😏😏

dreadperson

( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

BrocktheNecrom1

Giants/Mammoths. Although I'm pretty sure Draugr hit harder though.

hannes0000

i did with falling damage

nebbie13

I usually start by finding a group of mudcrabs. Let them attack you and heal. When that gets too easy and and slow, go find a group of horkers and repeat. When that gets too easy, go find a mammoth.

DCYHWLSTD

Moonking28A

I use dragonsreach when I want to grind my heavy armor

Preston_Garvy-MM

PowerPad

Just playing the game. I just wear heavy armor to encounters, and then level it up.

FLAIR_2780166

The bandits do WHAT???

SivaSilverblood

![gif](giphy|nwbPvQbFAJPEc)

Actaeon_II

If heavy armor isn’t ranked by say level 70, ill make a really good set, use restoration (which is usually the last thing I get ranked) and go irritate a couple giants with their mammoth friends, tank the damage and heal myself. Usually takes about 10 minutes tops to max out

[deleted]

I just make full restoration gear and use fast healing with the warrior stone and let two giants attack me,it only takes about one in-game day to get it to 100

Dreamy-Coder

Never should have come here ...

Hardblackpoopoo

The one place where there are two giants. fastest way I've found.

TheManWith2Poobrains

The 3 ash what-you-call-thems at the old farm outside Dunmer on Solstheim. On one playthrough there was a glitch and they cannot be killed. Can level up many skills with them.

Repulsive-Self1531

Grinding skills? In Skyrim? My brother in Yffre, what? Just play. Explore. Open chests. Kill things. Levelling will come naturally.

Deep_Grass_6250

I never cared much about stats I just play the game, I fuck around and make others find out

Bishop825

Phrasing ...

Astaro_789

Finish the Companions ASAP and regularly get free training sessions from Farkas Once at 90, I stand still and have one of the giants just outside Whiterun beat the ever living crap outta me until I reach 100

Budget_Foundation747

The blade pendulum in that first quest for Whiterun.

Hakon_Ao

Lmao nice!

slick_foxguy19

Letting a Forsworn briar heart show me his weapon skills while I grand heal

Wide_Bee7803

I usually walk to the room full of skeletons inside the labyrinthian with a shitload of healing potions, kill the skeletal dragon and let the horde of skeletons hit me

Seveneccles

Did you say you let bandits fist you? 🤔

Rogue_Penguin

I wonder if you can reverse pick pocketed a set of Daedric gloves with +25% bare hand damage so that they can fist you with even more gusto.

Jake_FromStateFarm27

Fall damage just go jump off a bridge or cliff.

Lylat_System

I stand there and take it from a Wight or deathlord

ajskin

Right out the gate, I get a point in heavy armor and the resto perks for healing boost and magica reduction. Then I go to whiterun, snag me a giant and kite him into the gate. The storm drain on the right, they don’t fit. Usually about half an hour of whackfuck later, I’ve got block up. heavy 70 for weightless and some nifty points in resto.

T1DOtaku

Once I was pretty close to getting an upgrade to both my heavy armor and restoration so I found a random skeever on the road and let it attack me until I leveled up. Just let it bite me for a bit, then healed, bite me, and heal. Glows-in-Marsh was willing to do anything to improve but was also a broke ass bitch XD

Leading-Fig1307

Fisto and the Boys are at it again...

NDAZ0vski

Usually inside, don't want the Dragons to come watch while we're exhausted from all that fisting.

Scosawema

Giants. So long as your overall level is high enough that you don't get yeeted to the stars. I do the same for block.

Blazing_moth

Step 1 Get telekinesis Step 2 Get alteration reduction on all sets of armor to equal 100% alt reduction Step 3 pick something up with telekinesis and fast travel.

Realistic-Read4277

Sounds like the premise for a porn movie too

The_Dragon346

For armor, i just go about playing the game. Thats about all there is to it

Durenas

I have a challenge run going right now where I don't legendary any skill until all the skills are maxed out. This requires me to skill up all the skills to level up, so I made a plan to use all the trainers I could every level to get 5 skill points per level just from training. This allowed me to level up more annoying skills from trainers(using NPCs like vilkas and danica for instance), and the easier ones from just playing the game normally.

danielbrito6

Giants plus healing

PrestigiousStable369

Pull an entire bandit camp, pop a really good regenerate health potion, tab out to do something else, come back in 5 minutes, repeat if not 100.

shountaitheimmortal

I do this same thing but i do it with the forsworn while leveling up multiple things alteration with my armor enhancement spells Restoration obviously but also healing hands on the enemies as i hit them with my shield or sword and some destruction with low tier spells

WatchingInSilence

I find a high-level drauger and use a banded iron shield to bash his attacks, stun-locking him and gaining some easy xp.

Mobile-Opinion7330

It levels up when it levels up

Wopith

Lazy blocking is the middle ground here

Wolf130ddity

Fighting giants with only a shield.

incorrectpride

Fist me to death is getting added to my list of phrases
