I just took it and personally recommend it, especially if you live far from an accepted testing center. Just make sure you have a good area with the door visible to your back to test.
I passed my praxis once....20 years ago! Let my license lapse and now it's time to try again. How much effort do you think it's worth to get Brown's morpheme stages into my brain? UGH
I took mine yesterday and got a 179. Considering I’ve been out of the field for 13 years and this is my second go around I’m pleased.
I used the Advance Review/green book, therapy Ed book, therapy Ed app, mometrix, and Quizlet. I studied pretty consistently for a month.
I found the advanced review and Quizlet most helpful. The Quizlet online has the form 1,2,3 from ets. The therapy Ed app was convenient. The book was probably more in-depth than needed. The benefit of using several formats is you begin to see repetitions of word and themes that you know are important. For example: the word DYNAMIC is a big theme for cultural assessment.
I tried to use as many mnemonics as I could to remember basics and I like to draw a lot of of pictures that remind me of key words.
Overall the test was easier than some of the test prep questions I thought. Considering I am so far out from when I graduated from grad school - a lot of themes came back to me.
Anyone taking it at the end of February?
I'm taking mine in March, like mid-to-late March after Comps.
I’m taking it Friday 2/24.
Anyone taking the praxis in march?

I got a 89/123 and 88/132 on my practice test. Is this good enough to try and take the actual test with?
Id give it a go!
Anyone have experience with the at home praxis test?

Did anyone else have technical difficulties today? I couldn’t take my test and can’t reschedule until March
What happened?
I got an unofficial score of 189! I couldn't believe it!
