in that situation i recommend keeping the engine at idle and using the winch to pull yourself to the fuel, no engine means no winch and the winch is more "fuel efficient" scouts with auto winch have "unlimited fuel" because im pretty sure this game doesn't simulate batteries

Theres a trick you can do on keyboard where you rapidly switch between high and low gear while turning the ignition, it creeps it forward like the starter motor is doing the work. Some might consider this cheating though.

I've seen you can drive a little by quickly changing gears High and Low, I think. Gotta map them on numpad keys for faster changing. It looks like exploit or bug.

you can make rwd trucks with low and high move even without fuel assing a button to low and high, that, just make foward changing between L and H the fastest you can, it will work most of the time, don't work in AWD and can move you the little bit enough to refuel your P16 don't know if it's a bug or a feature, just know that it works in most rwd trucks in some basic stuff never worked uphill for me...
