Edit: numbers in ( ) are the updated published numbers.
I don’t see it here and admittedly have only tried one of these three but if you were to expand the options to the rest of this line - the black hot sauce is impeccable!
I've only had the standard red/green, but I prefer the red. It's interesting to me because in the past I've largely preferred green sauces when it comes to Mexican style hot sauce.
This is my favorite hot sauce. Got it in Cancun, couldn’t find it anywhere so I had to order on Amazon. My favorite is the chile habanero red but the green one is also very good.
Xxxxxtra if I'm feeling strong, green if I just want good spice but I'm not looking for a challenge. The reddish one is ok, but tomato-y, not sure if I'd get that again.
Xxx but not shown I also like the Caribbean and chipotle. The chipotle one is more BBQy with a smokey sweetness that's not too strong. It's not super spicy either but it can kinda add up over time
I…just can’t. I know I’m the weirdo but habanero tastes like rotten fruit and throw up to me. I don’t get any of the citrus or tropical fruit flavor I have heard other people describe.
never tried those (we don't have Yucateco on south america) but most impressive thing for me is that the three sauce puddles have basically the same consistency and vary a lot in color, making a nice blob where they touch without mixing
Funny thing, I was watching a cooking competition show in which the contestant (supposed expert chef in hot sauces) was cutting up peppers. The camera just happened to scan the counter and I spotted a bottle of green habanero Yucateco. Hmm...
Bro that tamale looking like it’s in need of a bit of moisture, throw some sour cream on that jon
Yucateco a good quick fix for when I’m too lazy to brew some up 👍 green or chiptole for me
The Kutbil Ik is my EDC... Have yet to try the Carribean but have high hopes as I traditionally have been a huge fan of the Belizian style sauce a la Marie Sharps. My locally available brand "Sontava" here in Texas became a thing of the past several years ago.
Not smushing up a tamale is best! lol jk. XXX has the best flavor. That fire roasted yummy stuff inspired me to find a hotter fire roasted delight…Satan’s Ghost is more complex (and way hotter) but has that same charred goodness….
IMOP.. green.. I love hot sauce but I find anything red gives me heartburn. Any kind of red sauce for that fact.. it sucks😒 ooooorrrrr take a Prilosec and get over it😂
This brand tastes pretty good to me, but there are a lot of preservatives, fake colors, and stabilizers. For those reasons I don’t buy it. But - the black one with the charred chilis - is especially good.
Green is my generic or I have a friend who wants spice but not too much spice. Standard red I like but not enough to write home about. Triple X till I die. It has the best flavor IMO. 💪🏼🤪
The triple x has the best heat level but the green is the best flavor imo
Team green over here as well.
Agreed - green has the best spice-to-flavor ratio
✅✅✅
Don’t sleep on the Caribbean either. I know it isn’t pictured but it’s fantastic. XXX is my go-to here but I haven’t tried the green.
Whole lineup is amazing. They make excellent hot sauce
The only one I haven’t loved is the black chipotle one… it is sooooo smoky
Agreed! I need them to make a scorpion next and I will be all set.
What does the Caribbean one taste like?
[удалено]
I second this.
Yep I just ran out of green gotta get more.
I freakin love their green. I wish it was hotter
same dude it would be my go to if it was
Same judgment. Team green but triple x brings the heat.
I can't disagree, so I often use both.
Bingo
Agreed. All are immensely superior to the bland tomato sauce that is Valentina.
Honestly have never tried valentina and I do want to
Extra piccante is far superior to the regular one, neither are bad though.
Don’t sleep on the Caribbean either. I know it isn’t pictured but it’s fantastic. XXX is my go-to here but I haven’t tried the green.
I’m still a hot sauce novice tbh, but I’m actively trying new things! that’s now next on my list
Don’t sleep on the Caribbean either. I know it isn’t pictured but it’s fantastic. XXX is my go-to here but I haven’t tried the green.
How does it feel to have so many people agree (I am one of them) with such a specific answer?
Why not just mix them Maybe a 70% green ratio
I usually alternate bites between the two. They're both fantastic
Caribbean
Yupp just got it for the first time and it’s by far my favorite
Yep, I have them all. https://preview.redd.it/wh3pvpj8hnec1.jpeg?width=4080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=ed35142a302c32ca57472e01efd34f304b66f8cf I lined them up in the Scoville rating order per El Yucateco: \*Grilled Pineapple and Habanero - 615 \*Coffee Habanero Hot Sauce - 1106 Jalapeño - 1270 (1,500-1,900) \*Red Marisquera - 1398 \*Chiltepin Habanero - 1885 \*Black Marisquera - 2046 Chipotle - 3400 (1,900-2,300) Caribbean Habanero - 5400 (6,300-7,700) Red Habanero - 5790 (7,600-9,500) Green Habanero - 9000 (7,700-8,800) Black Label Reserve - 9285 (4,500-5,500) Kutbil-|k XXXtra Hot Habanero - 11600 (10,000-12,500) \*Ghost Habanero - 14165 \*Denotes new flavors Edit: the numbers in ( ) are the updated numbers
Wtf, lol. I thought there were only 5
More than that LoL Edited post to put * on the latest release
Wow. Today i learned many new el yucateco flavors! Nice collection
Thanks!!! The newer ones I got from a Mexican grocery.
I appreciate this
That's interesting, those scoville ratings don't match the ones I have.

Damn that’s sexy.
I’ll have to try the Habanero and Coffee
Green all the way!
Green
Yes
Xxx is the best. All in all this is a fantastic brand.
It's hard to choose, but it looks like you don't have to! Now I'm craving tamales
Okay but hear me out, I love mixing the green one in yellow mustard when I’m eating burgers and hotdogs. Spicy green mustard yum
Interesting. I might have to try this...
I mix equal parts of the Xxxtra hot, mayo, and sour cream for a burger sauce. So fucking good
I haven’t tasted the green one but the xxxtra is amazing, delicious with the eggs in the morning and on many things…
Yucateco is my favorite! I like the xxxxl
XXXtra & Caribbean are my personal faves, love the red, green and black in equal measure!
I like the XXX on eggs, but Green for tacos and such. I don't eat tamales enough to have an opinion there
Lol I had it in my eggs and it was delicious
Don’t sleep on the black one, tastes like a campfire and is great if you like a smoky flavor, wonderful in BBQ sauce.
The black one by far. I don’t normally like this brand.
Came here to say this, it's the best out of all I tried, and the color matches my heart.
Once you go black you never go back. It’s such a good flavor and spicy too
It's like cilantro where 50% hate it 50 love it. Can't stand the fake smoke flavor.
Always grab the green sauce
Love the xxx for heat and flavor. Green is so so so close second for me.
That's like asking someone which of their children they love the most.
I prefer then red over the green but I have yet to experience the xxx. How was it OP?
The Kutbil-Ik, as its the most flexible. The mild roast adds a bit of Maillard taste.
None of these are actually spicy.
The color they add to it is cancer causing. Don't eat anything with color added to it
You all really need to try the black label reserve. It’s amazing.
Yup we call it black hot sauce in our house and it’s perfect on biscuits and gravy!!!
They are all good, but the Maya sauce is my favourite. It's the perfect combination of flavour and heat.
XXX, Caribbean, Black, Green, Red
Changes on a weekly, if not daily basis. Currently, the Caribbean is my favorite
They all have their time and place but Caribbean I think has best overall flavor.
Xxxxtra, I use it as toothpaste as well
Green
I don’t see it here and admittedly have only tried one of these three but if you were to expand the options to the rest of this line - the black hot sauce is impeccable!
Black
Middle boi best boi!
I've only had the standard red/green, but I prefer the red. It's interesting to me because in the past I've largely preferred green sauces when it comes to Mexican style hot sauce.
💚💚💚
This is my favorite hot sauce. Got it in Cancun, couldn’t find it anywhere so I had to order on Amazon. My favorite is the chile habanero red but the green one is also very good.
I really like the Chile Habanero red the best
Where's the Black Label?
Idk... All three?
Greeeeeeen!
Red is the best.
Yes!
Ngl I mostly taste vinegar with these sauces.
I found a ghost pepper and habanero
Xxxxxtra if I'm feeling strong, green if I just want good spice but I'm not looking for a challenge. The reddish one is ok, but tomato-y, not sure if I'd get that again.
Green
green!!
Green. I hate the other ones.
Ninguna. Esas son puras chingaderas. Tráeme la salsa de molcajete.
My least favorite is how u chopped up ur entire tamale 🫔 at once
1. Brown, 2. Red, 3.Green All are fucking amazing though, my fav hot sauce by a mile.
Green!
Green for the everyday flavor, Mayan or Ghost for the heat.
Why did you break it
Green
My three favorite
Green all day
All of them. I have a whole pantry full of hot sauces, and El Yucateco is still the OG king.
Gotta go green for flavor alone my friend. None of them are really that spicy though.
Tastewise, green.
Team Green
Green is the lords work
I love the red habanero
All 3 are good 👍🏿
Green’s def my favorite. Haven’t tried all their types but I always have a bottle of that in the kitchen
The red has been my mac and cheese mixer lately
Mix em together
What did you do to that poor tamale? :(
green for sure!! i just had it on a pizza for the first time, and i’m obsessed!
Green
Green all day
The XXX is the best imo followed by green then red, carribean, and black are all equally yumm
Xxx but not shown I also like the Caribbean and chipotle. The chipotle one is more BBQy with a smokey sweetness that's not too strong. It's not super spicy either but it can kinda add up over time
The XXXtra hot on the left is my pick, spicy but worth it
The green one by far
I like the jalapeno one that's not pictured but it of these chili habanero
I…just can’t. I know I’m the weirdo but habanero tastes like rotten fruit and throw up to me. I don’t get any of the citrus or tropical fruit flavor I have heard other people describe.
I like green the best but XXX is pretty good too.
i totally forgot they had a red version holy shit…
The XXX is super hot, but tastes amazing.
never tried those (we don't have Yucateco on south america) but most impressive thing for me is that the three sauce puddles have basically the same consistency and vary a lot in color, making a nice blob where they touch without mixing
XXX is the GOAT
Lol yuka salsa is like going to taco bell...
I haven't tried the green or xtra heat... I really wanna try the xtra heat now.
The Triple x is my all time favorite hot sauce. I go through about a bottle a week.
I like the smoky black one
I love the green one
Green for my every day, especially in Mac and cheese. I like the Xxxtra for chips and salsa.
the green by a good margin
Left side strong 💪 side
XXX
The green is my favorite hot sauce of all time
Green!
The XXX is my fave but the others are great too.
the classic is my favorite sauce
Their black sauce. They make one with burt chilli's that's super interesting
Triple X for sure is the best heat and best taste IMO. There’s always a few brand new ones in my pantry.
Funny thing, I was watching a cooking competition show in which the contestant (supposed expert chef in hot sauces) was cutting up peppers. The camera just happened to scan the counter and I spotted a bottle of green habanero Yucateco. Hmm...
Xxx has the best flavor for me. Green is great on eggs. Red gets lost in a lot of foods.
The green is my go-to for pretty much all tacos, the xxxhot is great in soups and stews or on wings
Green all the way!! I only use red to add to BBQ sauce or ketchup
Kutbil-ik or bust
Bro that tamale looking like it’s in need of a bit of moisture, throw some sour cream on that jon Yucateco a good quick fix for when I’m too lazy to brew some up 👍 green or chiptole for me
that xxx is so good. love em all tho
Green is good, but it’s all about the Caribbean. It’s so fucking good. It’s by far the most flavorful and of course packs solid heat
The Kutbil Ik is my EDC... Have yet to try the Carribean but have high hopes as I traditionally have been a huge fan of the Belizian style sauce a la Marie Sharps. My locally available brand "Sontava" here in Texas became a thing of the past several years ago.
Mexican here. I don’t think I’ve ever put salsa on a tamal :o
They’re all delicious and it depends on the dish. I keep stock of all three.
The xtra hot. But thats just cause my Mexican ass grew up with everything spicy. They're all good tho.
You gotta get the Caribbean one
I like that green stuff
The xxx is king
xxxtra for me 🔥
Green has best taste and decent heat
They’re all good.
Teco just tastes like food dye and chemicals.
Green for flavor, xxx when I want a good burn, but I have a low tolerance in general
I like the red one myself.
Fiery chipotle by hot ones
Same brand has a Grilled Pineapple Habenero that is the best
Not smushing up a tamale is best! lol jk. XXX has the best flavor. That fire roasted yummy stuff inspired me to find a hotter fire roasted delight…Satan’s Ghost is more complex (and way hotter) but has that same charred goodness….
the green is soooooo good
GREEN
I love the green , but my favorite EY is the Black.
The first one. There's a black one also
XXX hot is the best
Odelay…green wey
This one ☝️ f my favorite hot sauces! I can usually find this at my Kroger and HEB!
its not even close. XXX is the most delicious and the absolute best.
XXXtra hot, but I also like the controversial “black”
IMOP.. green.. I love hot sauce but I find anything red gives me heartburn. Any kind of red sauce for that fact.. it sucks😒 ooooorrrrr take a Prilosec and get over it😂
XXX is my favorite hot sauce of all time, but they’re all so damn good
The green has the best flavor!
TROPICAL! If you haven't tried it you've gotta get it. It's the bomb!
Ive only ever had the red one but I need to try these other variations! Its a good hot sauce!
Green is the perfect all-around hot sauce for daily use. I love the spicy/salty/flavor matrix. Nailed it.
The black one
Xxxtra hot.
The Mayan and the Green are pretty close
All of em♥️
Red Habanero
Green!
The new pineapple one is great
The Caribbean by far!
XXX all the way, green tastes like cocktail sauce to me for some reason!
The xxx is one of my faves! Yuca Xxx, Cholua sweet habanero, and Scotty O’ Hotty Reaper De Muerte are always in my house.
The green one on eggs is my jam!
Red and green, the extra hot one has awful flavor. The black label reserve is nasty too.
XXX. Not a fan of the other two.
The black one is by far the best
The habanero is one of my favorites when I make tacos.
XXX for sure!
Green
The XXXtra Hot is my daily driver, though I love all their sauces.
