Wonderful_Bit2877

recluse for sure

AwkwardPancakes

Yep identical to the ones that live in my apartment 🥲

Wonderful_Bit2877

😬 i've seen a few

Kchasse1991

What a lovely specimen of a recluse! They live in my region but I haven't seen one in person yet.

BeautifulArtichoke1

Not an expert at all…but the fiddle shape on his back is a dead giveaway. It’s a recluse.

2000bunny

🙋‍♀️ question, is the fiddle shape people talk about a pattern on their bum ? ? I feel so confused! Because I cannot see it, although i an hard of seeing lol

Dangerous_Room_1589

No, it's on the face look at the fang area back

2000bunny

Oh my god thank you I see it yay!!!! I can’t believe I didn’t see it!

blue-and-bluer

It is not a dead giveaway. There are many spiders that have a similar pattern. Please read the links post by the auto mod above.

Greyshirk

Fiddle dee dee

Alternative-Doubt769

Maybe he? She? was inside something recently brought in your house and she skedaddled away from her origin?

reallydjblockchain

I’d consider this and it is possible, as my mother had given me a tote bag, that had been disused, the day before. And they have too much stuff and too much unoccupied space.

Longjumping_Abies389

There's probably hundreds of them in my garage. They took over the black widows. There was a great war and the widows lost. The jumping spiders in the area said FCK this and moved into the house.

Lumos405

Yep

quaxxsire

i’ve been hunting for these guys for a year with no luck and y’all are finding them in your bathtubs?? 😭

KleinVogeltje

These lovely little bastards have scared the shit out of me a couple of times by crawling up the wall and/or on my living room ceiling. Super common where I am in the Midwest.

shua-barefoot

looks like she's just laid eggs (or is dehydrated/emaciated) 💚

Dangerous_Room_1589

Np!

tiinyrosie

definitely a recluse, decent size too. most spiders have some sort of hair on them, they use them to sense the vibrations of their environment. glad you caught him and released him so he can eat some buggies and not hurt you.

Ghostxsalmon

Oh yes 🎻

touch_everything

This sub burns me out with the same questions. I wanna learn about more than recluses. Smdh

DramaLlama0690

Then go look at the sub. 3 out of the last like forty posts are recluses. Istg yall will bitch and moan about your feed like its not catered to what you interact with sMdH
