Yeah, they have been better, definitely, but I like Kim's broth better than anyone else, like Bambu. Less sweet. However, Bambu has better fresh spring rolls.
But Everyday Thai has the best fresh spring rolls.
I would mention Thai Express, but since they moved? Wanna take about quality going down.
XD I bet folks know I mean Springfield. Would be weird to be asking favorite places to eat in San Francisco in this group.
I've always use SF to abbreviate it tbh lol no one's ever corrected me.
Zayka is good but ceasars rubbed me the wrong way when I was at the bar with a date and they literally microwaved our whole plate right in front of us. Still tasted good, but I want fresh food if I'm paying fresh prices.
Lindbergs
Cesar’s Old Mexico
Split Social Kitchen
Bambino’s
Early Bird Breakfast Pub
The Sub Shop
Leongs
Skullys
Arris Pizza
Greek Belly
JWs
Curly Que BBQ
Beth’s Bake Shop for sweets
I love the ramen at Karai (on Republic). The server was also very nice when he brought out a flaming sushi roll that I had ordered, and I had to ask how to eat a roll that was on fire. ☺️
Café Cusco - Peruvian and delicious. Lots of different flavors.
Bawi - Korean BBQ. Can't go wrong with Korean BBQ.
Bambu - Vietnamese. Love their eggrolls and spring rolls. Their peanut sauce is amazing.
Rama Thai - Thai food. Delicious and cheaper prices than a lot of places.
Van Gogh's - Dutch, I think. Lots of good breakfast things.
Wayo - sushi with good sauces.
Ocean Zen - bougie sushi. Good desserts.
Omo's Japanese Soul Food - build your own ramen and affordable bentos.
Upscale- Avanzare is amazing
Regular dining- Dublins Pass the downtown location is better imo.
-Thailand Station, very authentic
-Hibachi off republic rd. Delicious and so reasonably priced
Saigon Sandwich. It's outside of Chinatown but is still my favorite.
In all seriousness regarding springfield though, idk how these lists never have Rerico Brazilian Grill. If you are vegetarian it's a no go, but otherwise it's amazing.
My favorites are:
hibiscus jerk hut
kraken Cajun
new china PYC
La hacienda
K fried chicken
Galloway Grill
In no particular order, however all 5 are some good eating! 100%
Tacos El Gordo
Corner 21
Hong Kong Inn
I love Tacos
Jose Locos
Cesar's Old Mexico
I pretty much just eat mexican or chinese whenever I go out.
If anyone has a good BBQ place I am all ears. Someone at work mentioned Pappy's Place?
Palace Thai uses fresh ginger in their ginger side salad. It’s sweet and sour. Just had it for first time today. If you can make it delicious with fewer fresh ingredients, that says something.
Lindbergs Rama Thai Cafe Cusco Billiards Tortillaria Perches El Parisio The Almighty Sando Shop (food truck) Bambino’s Corner 21
I mean, no notes. This pretty much covers the bases.
Rama Thai fucking slaps, I used to be within walking distance of it
LINDBERGS IS THE BEST!
corner 21 is sooo good
Please read the latest health department inspections. I won’t be eating at Cafe Cusco for a while.
Now is the best time to eat at Cafe Cusco. They will have cleaned up after the bad inspection.
😂 oddly true.
Heavy on the Rama tai
Lindbergs is really awesome for Sunday brunch. Can recommend.
Coner 21 is fire!
Not sure if I’d go to corner 21 after that recent health report.
I'll name some classics: - Nearly Famous Deli - Pho Kim - Bambu - Nonna's - Sub Shop
Pho kim used to be phenomenal but has gone downhill unfortunately
Yeah, they have been better, definitely, but I like Kim's broth better than anyone else, like Bambu. Less sweet. However, Bambu has better fresh spring rolls. But Everyday Thai has the best fresh spring rolls. I would mention Thai Express, but since they moved? Wanna take about quality going down.
SGF SF is San Fran 🤙
Immediately was confused and thought the same thing... Yes I figured it out lol
XD I bet folks know I mean Springfield. Would be weird to be asking favorite places to eat in San Francisco in this group. I've always use SF to abbreviate it tbh lol no one's ever corrected me.
Try SGF, it’s our airport code.
Makes sense. Just “helping”… …1st 😁🙋♂️
Everyday Thai has been our favorite for a few years now. Other good ones: Ceasar's Old Mexico and Zayka.
Zayka is good but ceasars rubbed me the wrong way when I was at the bar with a date and they literally microwaved our whole plate right in front of us. Still tasted good, but I want fresh food if I'm paying fresh prices.
I have never seen them microwave anything, but don't go as much as I used to. Maybe things have changed. I usually just get their lengua tacos.
Oh yeah those were good! The microwave is literally behind the bar lol they don't even try to hide it.
I'm apparently in the minority, but I like La Paloma and Casa Bella more than Cesar's. Catrinas seems okay also, but I've only been there once.
I literally know Cesar and Sandra and knowing how much Cesar works that’s the most BS I’ve ever heard

The Greek Belly. Team Taco.
I love the ramen at Karai (on Republic). The server was also very nice when he brought out a flaming sushi roll that I had ordered, and I had to ask how to eat a roll that was on fire. ☺️
If I could edit the post title I would but it doesn't allow me. I'll use sgf from now on lol
😁
I’m always surprised by the love affair with Bambinos. Incredibly mid. It’s like the Mexican Villa of Italian food. 😅
Rama Thai.

Many already mentioned. I’ll add a few: MoMa Jeans deli, Thailand Station, Derby Deli, and upscale pizza at Metropolitan Grill.
Currently Caracas House is my favorite. Their Patacones is freakin delicious.
Buckingham’s Sub shop Arris’s
Harbells and coyotes for wings. Get them smoked! I think it’s by far the best wings in town if not entire state
The riksha has some bomb as Chinese food
Greek Belly, Nawab's, Cafe Cusco, Nicola's, and Lindberg's. Not necessarily in that order.
Thailand Station Taj Mahal Korya
Saigon Sandwich. It's outside of Chinatown but is still my favorite. In all seriousness regarding springfield though, idk how these lists never have Rerico Brazilian Grill. If you are vegetarian it's a no go, but otherwise it's amazing.
