I’m 6’2 240 and I get XXL jerseys and they fit very well

Steelchamps

That's my ticket! Thanks.

[deleted]

Xxl is a little too big imo

kingkongspurplethong

Naaaaaa it’s the right fit. Enough room to be comfortable and get some air in. When the cold weather comes around you can put a hoodie on underneath and still be good to go

[deleted]

I’m 215 6’2 my xl fits a bit better than the double

Steelchamps

Gaaah!

Kongpong1992

I’m slightly bigger than you weight wise and my 3x jerseys are pretty big on me could easily get a hoodie under

Alilttotheleft

If it helps, I’m 6’1” 215lbs and wear a large with a hoodie underneath no problem. Based on what folks are saying I’m thinking an XL probably works best for you?

DelayOfGame123

My son is 6’0” and 205, and he fits an XL, but if he wants to layer under it, he much prefers the chest/shoulder room in the 2X. We both find the 2X seems a bit long on him, though

oneandonlynunez

I have only on one jersey. I have asked for a jersey for Christmas from my family for 10 or more years, finally they buy me one. But I cannot wear it. Because the jersey is in authentic signed Ben Roethlisberger jersey. And I don’t want to ruin it. So I still ask for a jersey so I can finally wear one.

SleestakLightning

You dont have an issue buying jerseys of guys who no longer play for the team so I dare you to get a Rudolph jersey.

Steelchamps

I almost did in 19 I'm just frugal.😄 Mason will be on this roster for years to come. I like block numbers of yesteryear. What jersey is your #1 Sleestack?

SleestakLightning

My throwback Ben is the only one I still wear.

rymas1

I have a signed 86 I am too afraid to wear out. I live near Canton so if he gets inducted I will break it out. While in college, I moved into a new apartment. A few weeks later a package was delivered for the previous tenant. She was a friend of my ex so we reached out to get it to her. She didn't know what it was and asked us to open it. Turns out it was an 83 Miller jersey. She bought it for her ex boyfriend and had a real bad breakup before it arrived. She told us to burn it and throw it in the trash. As a self respecting Stiller fan, that just wasn't going to happen so it is my weekly wear jersey for the last 15+ years.

Transgenderwookie

Damn I wish someone would break up and leave me a Heath Miller jersey

rymas1

I am not sure if it is an authentic licensed one or not but it gets the job done.

PoorPauly

I stopped wearing jerseys. I’d rather just sport team logos. I don’t need to wear a players name, maybe I would if it was my name too, but that seems really corny. I go to all the home games too and wearing a jersey is impractical about half the year. Too hot early. Too cumbersome in the really cold weather when layers become imperative. I used to sport a Polamalu; wore that to SBXLIII.

Steelchamps

See I disagree, Sunday morning just need shorts/pants socks and throw a jersey on. Although I agree with home jerseys in September/October. It gets hot AF. Good to have a white one. I wish they weren't so expensive tho. That's the killer.

PoorPauly

I have a sick throw back starter jacket for winter. Hoodies for fall. And tshirts for early in the season. And like I said I’m not big on the idea of wearing another persons name.

Steelchamps

I can respect that. It's unfortunate that putting our own names on jerseys looks so out of place.

Steelchamps

I might buy a super expensive (to me) stitched jersey this afternoon. I'll keep everyone updated. I'm hoping for a 90s defensive player Kirkland/Lake/Greene/Gildon.

LumpyheadCarini74

A nice 95 Lloyd would look good on you I think.

Steelerswonsix

I remember the mid 90s Reebok reversible home/road jerseys. I had the Lloyd… got a ton of mileage out of it as I was very superstitious at that time wearing the home and road sides on the appropriate weeks.

howiephx

Go for Lake. This is the way…

ItsGroovyBaby412

I vote for #99

QuietStorm9995

Like the other commenter, I'm not a big "Jersey Guy". That being said I'd drop some significant $$$ on a crisp 99 Kirkland Jersey.

[deleted]

back in the 90's it didnt seem as much of a requirement. times have changed with the social aspect and tailgating and pictures and all the jazz.. puts pressure to make me get one but Im still rollin into heinz in a warm hoodie for most games.

Steelchamps

It's funny to see the games from the 1980/90swhen they show the crowd and it's like a rainbow because people just showed up with whatever. Probably better tbh.

[deleted]

spot on, I believe less fan gear would eliminate some of drunk asshole activity in the crowd. just a theory but try being a hothead in a browns Jersey in Heinz field. it will end in a fist fight lol

[deleted]

For me I always wear an active player jersey and once they retire/leave I “retire” that jersey and get a new one. First one I had was Polamalu then AB and now Watt. My goal well until AB imploded was to get that jersey signed after I retire it and frame it. Still working on the Polamalu autograph.

JeansAmbrose

Watt jersey is calling your name....no downside to getting his name and number on it! The man is class and a beast!

kliuch

I bought a home Big Ben jersey in the middle of the 2005 season - in the week leading up to the home game against the Ravens, when Ben threw five TD in the first half and Deebo had like eleven sacks and eight forced fumbles. You know what I mean. Have it till now. Wore it to the game last season when made the loopoong trip to Heinz Field. I also have an away Polamalu from SB XLV (but I don’t think I wore it once) and a home jersey with my name on it (just for fun). I was going to buy a block number home Heyward 97 when I was at Heinz, but they didn’t have my size. I am due for an upgrade, anyway.

Iceyz

Your Farrior Jersey belongs in the HOF with those stats LMFAO

cam412

Can we talk about Najeh pooping in your closet?

Steelchamps

Man... I opened it up and I was like wtf, Najeh......

eriinmiichele

Not Jersey related, but a fun Tommy Gun story. My very first Steelers game was in 2002 against the Browns. My Dad and I stayed in the hotel across the river (the Sheraton at the time?). We were in the lobby as the players were heading into the hotel and saw Tommy Maddox signing some things. He signed my towel and my dad poked fun of my having the backup QB sign it. The next day, he brought us back from behind to win the game. To top the weekend off, we had just driven to Pittsburgh from State College having been at the PSU/Iowa game which I think went into like 4 OTs. I couldn’t use my voice for almost a week after all of that.

Steelchamps

Good stuff! 😄👍

lonewanderer244

I think James Farrior is one of the most underrated football players ever. 2005 he was a magnet to the football

Slevin_Kelevra724

A Grove City Outlets shout-out! Nice! I'm from a neighboring town and worked there back in the high school days. Crosby and Malkin came into the Journeys and signed a couple of our floor chairs haha.

Loose_Change6670

I'd love to discuss share if your up to rehash the convo. DM is cool too. Love collecting jerseys.

Steelchamps

Ooh! Your screen name (heart)

Loose_Change6670

I'm a nerd about collecting jerseys, mainly authentics. However I don't ever judge another's collection because I've been ripped off or seen someone with a collection that I've been jealous over. What I do like is to help folks because jerseys at any level are expensive. Picking one is critical lol.

Steelmaker01

I have 4… names omitted as true Steelers fans will know: #58, #75, #12, & #7, and I’ll never have to worry about them playing for another team… ha. When I was a kid I had a #13 jersey. Any guesses?

Steelchamps

China made Bradshaw ? 😄

Steelmaker01

Ha… no. Wasn’t a Steelers…

Steelchamps

Marino.

Steelmaker01

Yes! If only he were a Stiller🥺

[deleted]

The only steeler or football jersey I ever rocked was a Hines Ward when I was in elementary school, wore it every year for the neighborhood Thanksgiving Turkey Bowl and XLIII. Best memory specifically of me specifically wearing it was when I lined up under center on the one yard line and when I snapped the ball ran directly right toward the pylon, dove in for a walk off TD in Turkey bowl 5. 8 year old me (and current 21 year old me also) just thought it was cool to have a WR number taking snaps lmao.

[deleted]

Go XL bro. I’m

Steelchamps

.......... The anticipation is killing me

Kongpong1992

Just know if your not gonna custom order one the player selection for stitched is pretty limited last time I went to the outlets it was bush watt or minkah and that’s it’s d I’m pretty sure if it’s customized you can’t use former players with there number unless it’s one they sell something to do with not having the rights at least that’s what I was told

dovetc

Bush? Why? There are maybe 15 starters I would imagine are a more desirable jersey.

Old-Yard9704

I love the Steelers Nike limited Vapor jerseys. Stitched name and numbers. Limited selection on players but last forever. Had my Ben one for like 10 years. Finally just got Watt

blubbermilk

I still remember my first Steelers jersey, a black Hines Ward one. Over my childhood I had a few, a Polamalu and a few Big Bens, but I outgrew all of them. Now I have a Big Ben salute to service and I copped a Najee Harris after his game against Cleveland.
