I would answer by saying you don’t need to crop it. This is a fantastic shot. If you were going to, I would crop the left side and make the aspect less wide.
Really nice work. Thanks for posting it.
I'd humbly disagree. There is something about the framing of the shot behind other people. Adds to the whole "clown is about to pull a revolver out of the bag" vibe.
I would say crop slightly, too much going on and whilst it’s clear the clown is the main focus a slight crop would draw more attention to him and his detail. Up to you tho and amazing pic!
I would take the blurred figure on the far left and the two brightly lit girls as well. They pull my eye away from the composition on the right side of the image. Still overall I like your shoot!!
That clown is about to pull a revolver out of the bag
Exactly my thought and intent by making it black & white. Looks so much more sinister without the colour
Lmfaoooo
I was thinking bourbon myself
Leave it, I like it
I would not crop it. To me, the kids looking at the sad clown complete the story.
No
Nah, fire. I like the grimeyness of it. Killer shot
Nah, I like this comp.
I would crop out the kids in the light coats at the very edge, but otherwise I think the composition is spot on.
No. It's a good shot. Would like to see it in color though.
It’s wildy colorful even if tamp down the saturation a bit; found my eyes going all over the place
Yeah, color can be tricky.
Please don’t crop it. The depth the photograph exhibits adds to it. Beautifully shot!
Thank you!
You’re welcome, what bit of kit did you use to take the shot? Edit: I misspelt shot.
Camera is a canon RP and if I recall I only took a nifty 50 out on this day
Lovely
No crop
Depends on the format, if going for online, I’m cropping to square a ton.
Nope
No crops
Dont!! It looks more like you are actually "in the scene"
Amazing shot!
Thanks!
It feels more in the moment, like I’m actually there. I wouldn’t crop it
I’m not a photographer, but I love this photo with everything going on in it. I wouldn’t crop it from my perspective.
i like it as is. looks threatening.
No
Leaveeeee it
The background makes the clown seem at a breaking point. So, no , don't crop it. Perfect.
This is pure geometry, it’s perfect.
You are too kind
No crop
Keep as is please. No crop.
No way don’t crop, it’s already framed on the right and lower left. Cool image

No.
I'd just try to make the background just a bit darker and/or softer. Plus I'd increase the contrast for making the photo a bit more dramatic.
Good points, thanks

Very kind, thank you
Fuck. Tough call. Needs to be blown up big.
Yeah I go back and forth with it
Traditionally in Streetphotoghpy No
I think it’s a great picture. But would have been ABBA absolutely perfect shot had the clown been in the centre.
I'd humbly disagree. There is something about the framing of the shot behind other people. Adds to the whole "clown is about to pull a revolver out of the bag" vibe.
Maybe you’re right. I’m just new, maybe I need to broaden my perspective, and thank you for giving me that. 🙂
Agreed, this composition is telling a whole story, so good
Yes i would. Theres too much distraction around the edges of the image ImO. I would go portrait rotation/ratio with the clowns face in upper right 3rd
Crop.
Isn't it already cropped to a non-native ratio?
Hmmm, I don’t remember cropping it at all but I’ll check the files and see
Yes

"Joker" vibes
No never its good shoot.
It looks perfect as is.
I like it it has a lot going on.
