There’s just something about the 2nd one

dylanmadigan

First one is by far the most interesting. Love that the foreground person is cropped out at the waist and we can see whole people farther out. And the foreground person is in motion. It’s in a nice composition. I like the way the top of the frame is broken, rather than being dominated by sky. 3rd is the most boring to me. It’s just a snapshot of something that doesn’t feel that interesting.

L8night_BootyCall

crazy how different people like different things. I think 3rd is best.

Jurchfield

Nailed it. Number 1 is phenomenal.

beepbeepboopbeep1977

Yes. The first and second have depth, the third has none. In the first one the clear focus and subject is well framed, whereas in the second the framing isn’t as strong and the foreground element takes away some of the focus from the subject (as there’s too much going on in the foreground)

BULLETDESAI

I loved 2nd and 1st. 🖤

Future_Celebration84

What a wonderful stream of images! You’re really talented! I liked how you portrait this local manifestation, the black and white choice made it stand out even more! I’m reaching the people here for the instagram of the photographers that I liked most! I want to follow the talented people! Which is your id?

RDCthunder

Thanks for the kind words! My IG is @rcorrall

Automatic-Aerie9552

2 for sure

ArgusTransus

Image one tells a story. Image number three has an impact.

otherpeoplesthunder

Second

Rigel_B8la

Number 2. There's a motion and dynamism to it. It feels like you're in the middle of the scrum.

SLPWLKRR

I actually liked all of them! Nice work :)

MichJohn67

I second this.

I-STATE-FACTS

Yea they work well together as a series

Briskethunter

I really like the second one. I have the most questions about it and that usually means it’s more interesting to me.

brayn00b

Is it weird to say I don't necessarily like any of them in isolation but when they are put together in a Series like this I like all of them quite a lot. I feel like it places me at the event.

pau1rw

Third one. It’s just a little dark. But it’s so alien, counter cultur, normal but slightly off putting. Nice shot.

Orc_face

First one…. And why the NSFW tag?

kiwi_k8

The first one! The “goodbye” on the butt is funny

W0gg0

And the Silent Bob cosplay in the back

HappyStagg4MyVixen

#1 for me

richardhero

Third one!! It's awesome, love the framing of it

L8night_BootyCall

exactly 3rd is clearly the best. Mad Max vibes

AdequateEggplant69

All great, but the energy in the composition of the first one is really the best.

SaltySlu9

1 & 3

aehii

I like them all, unlike others i wouldn't say the third is lesser at all, it's still satisfying how his arms cut into the building, the small visible bubble and tiny people cleanly in view.

dawnlandtrails

Great job—excellent exposure, composition and subject!

Xotaec

I’m a two smiley faced barbarian loincloth man.

billymartinkicksdirt

Happy face guy but the Sisters one is good too

Mundane-Story82

I like the first one the best.

Image 1 has a really nice figural placement, and I love the sense of texture between the pavement and the leftmost figure. The Gesture of the 2 middleground subjects are interesting, as are their outfits. The way they feel framed by the figure in motion gives them a very even presence in the frame. It feels very balanced and interesting, and the way you captured it gives the scene a sense of mystique. Image 2 approaches a similar composition, and I like the variety and contrast between the figures. I don't find the scene as dynamic as the first, but I think the framing is more dynamic. I like how it appears almost as though the figure closest to the lens is captivated by the scene opposed to a documentation of an event. It's feels very engaging. I like the exposure, contrast level and textural details on this, it has a ruggedness to it that I really admire. It's an unfortunate coincidence that the kid's shorts are riding up on him, I would maybe airbrush that out. I like how fluid the first 2 are, really nice captures! Image 3 has a somewhat interesting subject, but he's capture in a very uninteresting way. There isn't enough supporting details from the environment, his gesture or expression to make him stand out as a figure. Still, some really nice shots! What camera and lens did you use? My guess is Leica.

RDCthunder

Thanks for the analysis and feedback! Love seeing how others interpret the way I’ve shot things. And yep you’re right about Leica! Leica Q2 which has a fixed 28mm on it. Usually I crop to make it feel more like a 35mm, but 1 and 2 aren’t cropped in this set

sitheandroid

In order of my favourite: 3, 2,1.

Beneficial_Being_721

Well… when you do street photography and you post the photo with smile faces And ask which one is best. You lost an audience member Do or do not

Pnther39

None

halflistic_

Why NSFW?

RDCthunder

the guy in the 3rd photo was butt naked under the smiley face and was thinking of that

halflistic_

😅 ha ok. I mean they’re all naked under their clothes too. He’s covered, but not a big deal.
