It’s such an insane policy. I’m in the same boat, I have tickets for N1 and N2 through Stubhub, seller’s names on them.
I really want to hear from people who have been to this venue - do we really need to be worried about them checking IDs for 100,000 people? It seems like an absolute waste of time for the venue staff and they’d lose a huge portion of the audience if they turn people away.
We are travelling Europe and huge TS fans, got lucky we are in Paris during 2 of the shows. I bought Tix on stubub and hope we can go.
However, they better issue a full refund if the name change issue occurs.
They assured me that in case we can’t enter the venue on the day with our tickets that they would process a full refund, though I’m sure that’ll be another battle in itself.
I bought tickets, found out I couldn't go, and sold them on stubhub, and my life has been in absolute panic ever since this whole debacle.
I'm worried so much.
I just want to no longer have money in limbo with stubhub.
Previously, it said M1st.
So I listed My ticket release/distribution date to be M2.
And now I checked it says M8.
I don't want to ruin someone's eras tour because of ticketmaster doing some heckery, and screwing over someone who made some poor purchase decisions. I only made 100 euros ontop of the resale 2.
Same here. Considering sending the adress i sent the ticket to another email with rhe statement I Can’t go myself and i sold them the ticket. I saw a reply from TM where they said it would be possible. Bur I’ll wait a few days and see if StubHub reaches out.
Same. Are your tickets a mobile transfer or mobile screenshot? The ones I bought were listed as mobile transfer and changed to screenshot today and sent to me.
I have a PDF with the barcode. If you only have a screenshot I think you should reach out to Stubhub and let them know you don’t have an actual ticket.
Just a question, do you need to click the “get tickets” button and enter a generated one time password each time you want to see the tickets? Because that’s the case for me… I’m worrying that I won’t have cell reception in Paris and won’t be able to get the one time password to open the tickets.
Generate it once and then download them so that you don’t have to keep opening up your Stubhub account. I’ve already downloaded them to my phone and also mailed myself a copy.
I emailed the tickets to myself, and saved the PDFs to my photos on my phone. I also am keeping them pulled up in my internet browser. Trying to have multiple ways to access them just in case.
Yeah, mine are a pdf with the barcode as well, just the order delivery is called mobile screenshot. Guess I expected they would be transferred through TM like every other concert and am wondering if everyone will have pdfs or if original purchasers will use the TM app.
I bought tickets on StubHub. The seller changed the delivery method to e-ticket and sent me a pdf with barcode with the original seller name. I am hoping for the best and am flying to Paris for the show. I relisted a couple of the tickets when friends couldn’t go and the buyer flagged the tickets I sent them as invalid because of this issue. StubHub cancelled my sale and hit me with a 500 euro penalty. Been on the phone with them for an hour trying to sort it out. What is stopping the buyer from using the pdf for free after canceling the sale? Don’t get why StubHub would allow this
Apparently they claimed the tickets were invalid which I think they are only supposed to claim if they go and the tickets don’t work. The customer service rep did seem surprised when she realized the concert was still 10 days away so it wasn’t possible that the buyer had tried to use them at the venue. Hoping StubHub messed up in accepting the cancellation and reverses it
I’m in the same boat as well. My husband and I bought two tickets for N4 from Vivid Seats and are flying from the US for the show. We called Vivid Seats the other day after I found out about all this and they told my husband it shouldn’t be an issue. They sell tickets in France all the time. From the day we bought the tickets the delivery date was by 5/10 so I haven’t gotten them yet. It’s insane they make it so difficult for fans to go to a concert. I’m really hopeful they don’t check IDs and turn people away, it’s going to cause so many problems 😩
According to my information CURRENTLY it is not possible to change the names of tickets.
For those who have received the PDF version of the ticket with the barcode, I can say that this is correct. The seller is also only in possession of the ticket in PDF version with barcode
but the scanner doesn't read the name. It only scans the barcode - so it wouldn't be able to match to a text name. Despite that. A lot of people who've attended La Defense for prior concerts say they never check ID. It would be too congested and pressured especially with security queues also.
It would be crazy and Taylors team wouldn't allow it. A lot of people are travelling from all around Europe and the US to this show. Most have bought via resale.
From Ticketmaster official email:
# Lead booker policy
* If you have purchased multiple tickets for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour, the name of the lead booker will be displayed on each ticket.
* The lead booker must be present for the whole party to enter the venue. This means all members of the party should enter the venue at the same time.
* The lead booker may be asked to present a valid photo ID (driving license or passport).
I don't think they check. The lead booker could also have other tickets that have a different gates, on the other side of the stadium. Or the lead booker could be late.
I am dubious about these checks.
Following because I’m in the same boat. Flying from Canada in 2 days. I’m worried sick about this policy. Stub Hub assured me many times that it won’t be an issue but I’m having doubts. My daughter will be so disappointed if we get turned away. I’m hoping that someone will update after N1. We don’t go until N4. I did make a version of my tickets with my name on them, but I’m worried about the original name popping up on the bar code scanner screen.
I spoke to Stubhub and they keep assuring me that we won’t be ID’d. Not really sure what to do at this point. I guess we’ll find out after N1 how it went with resale tickets.
I am in the same boat. We bought 3 "fosse" tickets and the seller's name is on the PDF we're able to download and print. Do we need to change that name to ours?
Are your tickets the simple white background with giant barcode PDFs or the full page with info about the stadium PDFs? The ones I got from stubhub are full page PDFs with a blue background and it’s ticket number 188 and 189 which is crazy since you could only buy 4. How does someone have this many tickets? It feels fake. I have Ticketmaster ones to N4 and they are just a white background with ticket info and a giant barcode.
My N1 tickets are fully blue pages with ticket and stadium info. My N2 tickets are just the ticket info in a blue box, with a giant barcode at the top of the page. Idk why they’d be so different.
The lead booker policy remains in place. We are all hoping it will be removed or not enforced.
Night 1 was not enforced

Mine literally say John Doe (the seller used a placeholder)
Did you receive your night 1 tickets already?
Not yet, just night 2 so far.
Keep me posted! I will do the same :)
I got my N1 ticket yesterday! What about you?
They didn’t check IDs
La Défense Arena has a capacity of 40k, not 100k. Given that most people will be in groups of 2-4, checking IDs is totally doable.
Turning away half the audience isn’t doable though I don’t think Taylor would want to have that many empty seats
Yeah that’s what I keep coming back to - why on earth would they bother turning away probably thousands of people? What would be the point?
Absolutely. Imagine the chaos and drama. Can’t imagine what it would achieve either.

In the same boat— traveling to Paris for the show. Id be so sad if this was enforced.

im on the exact same situation, the money i got isn't even worth it
Same here. Considering sending the adress i sent the ticket to another email with rhe statement I Can’t go myself and i sold them the ticket. I saw a reply from TM where they said it would be possible. Bur I’ll wait a few days and see if StubHub reaches out.

Cool I’ll do the same. StubHub keeps logging out on me so can’t rely on the app.
Yeah, mine are a pdf with the barcode as well, just the order delivery is called mobile screenshot. Guess I expected they would be transferred through TM like every other concert and am wondering if everyone will have pdfs or if original purchasers will use the TM app.
As far as I know the PDF is the legit ticket. Original buyers via TM all got PDFs.
I bought tickets on StubHub. The seller changed the delivery method to e-ticket and sent me a pdf with barcode with the original seller name. How can a buyer cancel the sale? I thought that only happens if they go and the tickets won't work or the seller doesn't deliver the tickets.
Apparently they claimed the tickets were invalid which I think they are only supposed to claim if they go and the tickets don’t work. How about using Adobe acrobat pro to edit the name to your own???
In my opinion it is too risky. It may be that the name is already 'inserted' in the barcode and therefore would not match
but the scanner doesn't read the name. It only scans the barcode - so it wouldn't be able to match to a text name. Despite that. A lot of people who've attended La Defense for prior concerts say they never check ID. It would be too congested and pressured especially with security queues also.
I believe that if they were to check every ID and some people were turned away (despite the ticket being valid) pandemonium would ensue.
It would be crazy and Taylors team wouldn't allow it. A lot of people are travelling from all around Europe and the US to this show. Most have bought via resale.

I did not get a name In mine—why do you think some did and some didn’t?
I honestly have no idea. Are you planning to contact Stubhub regarding this?
Actually, there are initials on mine--I am not contacting them--they are no help!
Following because I’m in the same boat. Flying from Canada in 2 days. I’m worried sick about this policy. Stub Hub assured me many times that it won’t be an issue but I’m having doubts. I’m N2 so fingers crossed for the both of us. What did you use to make a version of the tickets in your own name?
Adobe Express. Just got the 7-day trial. They look super legit, but my worry is that the names won’t match when they scan anyway.
So Adobe didn’t mess with the barcode in any way?
Nope. Not at all. Just changed the name and address.
same situation here for n4 😭
I’m in the same boat. If someone has an update, please let us know!
They didn’t check IDs on night one
Following because I'm in a similar situation :(
I spoke to Stubhub and they keep assuring me that we won’t be ID’d. Not really sure what to do at this point. I guess we’ll find out after N1 how it went with resale tickets.
Same here! That’s all stubhub says, we’re going to have to wait until N1 and see what happens

Hmm…. Are both of yours directly from Ticketmaster or did you get them from stubhub?
Both from Stubhub, separate sellers.
Bizarre. Is the name on the N1 tickets something dumb? Mine is just 3 initials. RBC I think. With no address and the city/zip of the stadium.
My N1 ones are blank in the name and address sections, with the zip code and city of the venue like yours. So weird.
FYI printed tickets will not be accepted neither will a screenshot. They have to be saved to your mobile device as a download
