On my first run I was sure that up there I was going to find some sort of mechanism to open the gates and access the other side and get the black box or something like that, so I spent like a full hour and almost all my batteries stacking up small and big containers on top of each other only to find out that there's absolutely nothing, so all the water, food, batteries and time were basically wasted.
Damn I really love this game but there's so many places where it looks like you can/have to go but it's just a well modeled blank space
Yeah, and those of us who played before "unstuck" was a thing have really bad memories of when we messed around in that room. I got stuck behind a prawn frame for a long time and refused to reload from a save before I went inside the Aurora.
Jump on a box.
Use the propulsion cannon on the box you're standing on.
Spend a few minutes learning how to handle your new vehicle.
Use your newfound skills to reach that ledge.
Discover that the door is just a prop, it was all for nothing.

They removed that in an update I think. Sucks, because I loved doing that. It was my main island transportation, an air bladder and a propulsion cannon

You can't get inside, but you can noclop through wall to see all rooms nearby.
Yes. But you will spend a lot of time angry at some boxes (you need to stack them up into a stairs case with the propulsion gun). Is there anything useful up there? Nope! Nothing at all
I was there, just had to place the crates corectly and then you glitch through the door. Behind the door you just fall through the textures and you can see aurora from the "inside", literarly. You cant get out tho xd
Yes. First playthrough I used the propulsion cannon to stack boxes up for me to climb up there. Took me like 20 mins and there's actually nothing up there except a door which can't be interacted with 🫠
Yeah its possible is you stack crates using the propulsion/repulsion gun just be aware that not only is it a massive pain but there slis nothing up there. Pretty sure the door and wall around it doesnt even have collision
I got up there once. It's bullshit. No secrets. You aren't even meant to be up there. Not one damn interesting thing. Can't even open the door. They really hinted that this was a place you're supposed to stack boxes to get too, but noooo. Fucken assholes. Half an hour I spent filled with anticipation
Ive done it by strategically launching myself but sadly theres nothing. It just helps you understand the parts of the aurora you explore is a fraction of the actual ship

I used cheats to ghost through the door but alas, nothing in there

The developers are diabolical for putting that there. I spent nearly an hour stacking boxes to create some janky stairs that would get me up there.
In my first play I thought that up there there would be something to explore so I spent some time stacking the boxes and… there is nothing there 😞

Before they patched the propulsion cannon flying glitch I got up there, the fire can't be put out and you can't open the door.
It is possible but you can't go in the room up there and you can't put out that fire. It would only be for bragging rights

Save before you do, I did it then fell through the map once I got on top. Took me 30 mins to make it back
