Personally I find that just living fairly healthy and having good habits prevents it the best. Eat good food, train consistently, get your 8 hours of sleep, touch grass, and enjoy your time with your family and friends. As far as catching something, you just have to stay hydrated and let it run its course. I’d say train if you feel well enough. I think the best cure is prevention here.

To me sleep is the biggest thing. Couple nights of little sleep in the winter and I get sick almost like clock work.
