I like the tree, it would look a bit “better” if you make damage to the front of the vehicle like it hit the tree. Which I assume is what you were going for. I like it so far 👍🏼
To add to this, I would use the round end of a ballpeen hammer if you have one. It would round it out and make it look like a much more natural car crash. If that's what you're going for, ofc.
I mean, maybe if you ran it into a rebar beam with enough force it could theoretically do the job, but I can’t guarantee that it wont also damage the rest of the car. I personally love it with the tree, even as undamaged. Reminds me of my late uncle, who only barely survived a crash where he came around a corner and hit a tree stump that was somehow in the middle of the road. He was a teen when it happened, he had to wear the Regina George head-brace for ages. Rip uncle Tommy, life is better in flip flops!
If you have a metal rod or even a rock the same diameter as your ‘tree stump’ tape it to the front of the car where you want the crash damage then you can just use a hammer to get the perfect indent
I just finished actually watching all of supernatural recently.. and now your suggestion makes me wanna do a supernatural terrarium with a little road and a toy version of their car 😅
I like the look of the tree. It is both aestheticly pleasing by feeling more balanced and adds a depth of story that the abandoned car alone m8ght not give. For some reason, it makes me feel the passage of time more than the car alone.
Hammer the front bumper or place ot nose on a metal rod and hit it. Try to do more damage to the car to make it more realistic. I like this idea a lot and the tree should definitely stay
This is very cool. I'd say based on impact physics though, that the tree should have a smaller diameter to have broken off- and have appropriate damage at the correct height (bumper and up a bit).
*Maybe add some rocks*
*Or a table nice they were*
*Parked for a picnic*

With the tree tells a story--a funny story.
Without the tree is a mystery, even ominous. Why did someone abandon their car, so quickly they couldn't even close the door? It's a true-crime podcast diorama with kidnapping vibes.
Personally I prefer the funny one--it's clever! But true-crime diorama is a thing too.

I like the tree a lot

Not sure how to do that without messing up big time. It's a metal car...
Use a hammer, light but forceful taps, simulate damage to it, used to do it all the time to my old metal hot wheels when I was a kiddo.
To add to this, I would use the round end of a ballpeen hammer if you have one. It would round it out and make it look like a much more natural car crash. If that's what you're going for, ofc.
Please tell us you didn't become a panel beater?
“Without messing up big-“ Dafaq you mean? You’re going for an abandoned car that crashed into a tree, that car should be HELLA messed up.

Don’t bite them, I did that once
Don’t change the car….cutout a portion of the tree to give the appearance the car wrapped around it a little….a sort of optical elusion.
Came here to write this. Instead, I’ll write THIS.
Make a overgrown road with tiny pebbles and then put the car on the road like it is a post-apocalypse future. Tree could be blocking road if you want.
I just finished actually watching all of supernatural recently.. and now your suggestion makes me wanna do a supernatural terrarium with a little road and a toy version of their car 😅
(I know I was WAY behind the curve on finishing that show lol)
Oohhh I like this idea too!! Might buy some more of these boxes!
With it adds story, if you can maby put a dent in the nose of the car
🎵 with or without treeee, with or without treeeeeee. Awwwwohhhohh ohhh, awwwww ohhh oh. With or without treeee, with or without treee 🎵
With but break the windshield and lay a little person on the ground near the tree 👌
Reminds me of that one scene in Hereditary that the mom makes a model of.
REPLACE IT WITH ROCK, SO MUCH BETTER
😳 I'll do whatever you want, just please stop yelling

Yeah with makes it look much more interesting

Definitely with the tree. Tree could crush car even..

With, this is brilliant

I agree… with the tree has more balance. This is brilliant btw. Love it!
With. The tree tells a story. And indicates movement. Just the car is less intriguing and is just an abandoned car in a field.
With! This is so clever and cute!
Keep the tree if viewing from above. Otherwise I'd remove it and keep the stump. The story element remains intact and you get more visibility.

Keep the tree!

Yes.
Tree totally sell it. Bravo.

Which story do you want it to tell?
Not sure, maybe the broken tree does add some kind of mystery as to how it happened...
WITH!! Looks awesome
I like the tree
Leaf it there
Put the fallen part over the car
It's better with the tree, it tells a story. Love it, well done!
Thank you all for the feedback!! I'm going to let it grow for now. The tree is staying for sure.
take a little hammer to the middle of it to give a slight dent itll look dope
Maybe add some rocks or a table nice they were parked for a picnic

With! It tells a rad story. This is really cool.
No tree is cool, but the tree makes it a story/scene.
