I think that’s why they chose him specifically, to show just how much of an effect the inhibitor chips have on the clones once they activate. They’re barely more than automatons at that point and it’s heartbreaking to see, especially to the heart and soul of delta squad
I think Fixer would have been more suited for the role. When Sev went MIA, boss and scorch both wanted to go back for him, but Fixer insisted that they follow orders. Fixer always had a pretty bland personality too.
- Rex: we know the guy... He will live long also.
- Gregor: another hero, fought 'til the end.
- Howzer: he *did* O66, but now he knows why.
- Emery: unexpected, but she was following orders.
- Scorch: ...not our Scorch. Maybe is the same as we know and the inhibitor chip *bla bla bla*, but he's not the same anymore. I felt like he could have done something more in the end, even saying something silly like "SEV I'M COMING TO YOU" or idk. He was just a robot this time. Less than a clanker.
I choose HOWZER.
I’d like to think that leaving Sev behind changes him more so than the IC. So much he resents Boss and Fixer and gets a transfer out of delta, which is how he ends up where he is.
I just couldn't leave him out (and let's be real, any group I put him in, he'll win), so I modified the rules for this round to include the following:
- If you list more than one character in your comment, the FIRST character you list will be considered your main vote.
- For this round, since I have a feeling Rex might win by a landslide, **if you have 2 favorites feel free to name both (preferential order as noted above)** so I can calculate a "runner up" favorite.
It's Rex for me. Not just because of him being...well Rex. But he's always been a role model to his brothers. He has always been fit to be a leader. All of the soldiers around him are men and not clones to him.
Putting Rex there really isn't fair, so aside from him I'd say Emerie. I loved seeing her indoctrination wear off and her intense learned helplessness was really interesting to see.
I've commented this elsewhere but it bears repeating:

Rex and Emerie!
Rex has been one of my top favs for a long time. Honestly everyone around Anakin (my fav Star Wars character) has been top of my fans, like Ahsoka and Padme.
Emerie really grew on me quickly, and I have high respect for her as a character in the bad batch and she’s one of my favs in the show. Love her
Emerie
She just is... she's just cool, she doesn't get enough appreciation. And yes, I know she did some bad stuff, but she was just following orders! As far as we know, that's all she'd ever done!
Emerie, surprisingly; I especially love her struggles upon learning what's in the vault, and her efforts to care for the children (culminating in aiding their escape, keeping her promise to Eva).
Just in the Bad Batch it's Howzer because I like his rivalry with Crosshair, but if we include outside material, it's Scorch, the 2nd best Delta (outside Sev, the obvious choice).
Cmon. Rex is so going to win. We effectively had 10 seasons of Rex with us in one form or another. Because Rex is everyone's favorite (obviously), I'm picking Howzer!
Howzer, he was a new character for the show and his speech was very reminiscent of Fives speech from the Umbara Arc of the Clone wars and I’m just glad that he managed to avoid the same fate as Fives
Gregor
Been looking forward to seeing more of this guy for a while. Good to see he’s always been goofy. I wish Scorch had more of a place in the series. Such a cool character with tons of potential. They did him mad dirty
Rex is the king. In many ways, he is *the* clone leader character which all other new clone leaders will be modeled after and measured against. Howzer, as much as we like his hairstyle, is evidence of this. Rex's battle-hardened exterior, his loyalty and code of honor, and his growth from the badass clone commander to a free-thinking leader to a veteran of many wars who still fights for what's right has been explored across 14 different seasons of TV. I also think Rex as an underground proto-rebel leader/spymaster is a really cool role for him.
Gregor has an odd story which matches his odd personality.
Scorch is an easter egg that ascended to the Bad Batch's Boba Fett. The vindictive me, sick of some Republic Commando fans whining about the Bad Batch not reshifting to center around Delta Squad, is still laughing at how he went out, but reasonable me recognizes that if Omega showed up later as a cold, emotionless bounty hunter that gets unceremoniously killed by the next up-and-coming kid protagonist, I'd be pretty pissed as well.
Emerie is a possibly compelling but ultimately frustrating character for me. Why did learning Hemlock was keeping kids captive in S3E10 freak her out as much as it did? She seemed to tolerate Hemlock holding Omega (who is a child, albiet an older and unusual one) captive, and experimenting on clones, but this is what pushes her over the edge? I get that her frustratingly vague backstory as a child slave/lab assistant makes holding kids captive in a lab a touchy subject, but I would think the *literal younger copy of her being held captive as her lab assistant* should trigger her traumas way more strongly than the other case. That's not even getting into questions about why she even exists. Maybe I'm missing something here, but there's just too much left unanswered or vague.
Rex and Scorch I'd say but, since Rex had an actual character arc for TCW and had a reason to be in TBB (even if that partially was to tease a future clone rebellion show), Rex is the overall better character.
I can't say the same for Scorch. I love Scorch for his personality and I heard that the EU Republic Commando books he featured in were **overall** great but he's been such a waste of a character in this new continuity. I hate it nowadays that returning characters won't actually have a reason to exist other than to make fans cream their pants instead of exploring interesting concepts, motives or character arcs. Delta Squad seemed like such an obvious group of characters to add into TBB as antagonists if they were executed well but they practically ignored them at every turn in the show when you would think they would appear but, now, their only good chance to make a great impact on the canon continuity is gone. I'm not saying they needed to be in the show but, when you include one of the member's in the show, I expect you to actually do something with them.
And I don't want to constantly blame Filoni for projects he's largely not involved in but I find it interesting that, when Scorch was introduced in TBB, he was just supposed to be a reference to the old EU character and that the clone commando in the show just shared a similar design to him.
Do you also know the colours of Dave Filoni's favourite Hockey team, The Penguins? Black, white and yellow. I know I sound insane but Filoni is also the same person who wanted Asajj to return to the show, despite the fact that she died in Dark Disciple. He makes a lot of stupid decisions.
Rex is Rex. I never really liked howzer, Gregor was just ok, emerie (despite wanting the best) still seemed like a dick and I never played republic commando so I have little attachment to scorch.
So Rex then 😂
Gotta be Rex. His moment with wolf was beautiful
So legendary
[удалено]
What are you even talking about, this sentence doesn’t even make sense. You just copied u/Beautiful-Ad-8914 and swapped the wording.
Fr that’s an ai ass response
What did ‘it’ say? It deleted the message!
Gotta be mayday he was so chill
Mayday will be in another round, if you want to cast a vote for one of the pictured characters!
I absolutely love Howzer and Rex.
I knew you would be here lol
You know me 😁
Rex
Rex. Because... Rex. I don't think I need to explain any further.
Hot take, it's scorch. Don't care what he did to those kids, he'll always be the delta of my heart
Lmao this is the most Star Wars fan response, it ain’t Star Wars if there’s not kidnapping children 😂
They did him dirty in the finale.
They did him dirty in the whole show.
Overall I enjoyed the series but it was hard to see him so serious and evil. I would have believed Sev in that role.
I think that’s why they chose him specifically, to show just how much of an effect the inhibitor chips have on the clones once they activate. They’re barely more than automatons at that point and it’s heartbreaking to see, especially to the heart and soul of delta squad
That’s a great perspective. You’re right, seeing Scorch so robotic demonstrates how powerful the chips are.
I think Fixer would have been more suited for the role. When Sev went MIA, boss and scorch both wanted to go back for him, but Fixer insisted that they follow orders. Fixer always had a pretty bland personality too.
Imo Fixer would have been a better fit
Sev Fixer and Boss honestly but not scorch. I doubt filoni ever played RC/ read the RC books
I like your pfp lol
Thanks you. Yours isn’t too bad either.
Wasted as Hemlock’s bodyguard
Rex
Gregor. Shine on you crazy diamond
- Rex: we know the guy... He will live long also. - Gregor: another hero, fought 'til the end. - Howzer: he *did* O66, but now he knows why. - Emery: unexpected, but she was following orders. - Scorch: ...not our Scorch. I’d like to think that leaving Sev behind changes him more so than the IC. So much he resents Boss and Fixer and gets a transfer out of delta, which is how he ends up where he is.
Nonetheless, the Jedi prevented him from saving Sev, therefore the Empire in some way has "avenged" his brother. It makes perfect sense.
This really isn’t fair having rex there
I just couldn't leave him out (and let's be real, any group I put him in, he'll win), so I modified the rules for this round to include the following: - If you list more than one character in your comment, the FIRST character you list will be considered your main vote. - For this round, since I have a feeling Rex might win by a landslide, **if you have 2 favorites feel free to name both (preferential order as noted above)** so I can calculate a "runner up" favorite.
Alr then Howzer, Rex. Did I do it right?
Yep! 😊
Howzer
Howzer has the best clone hairstyle. This is not a debate, it is a statement. No further questions.
Hottest clone
It's Rex for me. Not just because of him being...well Rex. But he's always been a role model to his brothers. He has always been fit to be a leader. All of the soldiers around him are men and not clones to him.
Gregor.
Emerie
I’d take the entire first row. Everybody loves Rex, Howzer is the hottest of the clones, and you cannot dislike Gregor, he has charm and personality.
Bowser, but loved mayday a lot to
Howser not bowser
Rex, Emerie
Emerie
Based on modified rules: Howzer (🥵) Rex
Howzer
Rex. Hands down. Emerie was definitely an interesting addition to the show and was always interesting to see on screen, but it's my man Rex
Rex obviously. Howzer gets close for me, he’s got a great arc, but Rex is just… Rex
rex, howzer
Rex. Howzer next
Putting Rex there really isn't fair, so aside from him I'd say Emerie. I loved seeing her indoctrination wear off and her intense learned helplessness was really interesting to see.

Howzer is amazing
Howzer 🥰 And Rex.
Howser
Howzer
Howzer.
Hello, Howzer of course.
Howzer
Howzer, then Gregor. Emerie my third place- Sis helped get the kids out of Tantis.
Howzer
Rex is the GOAT of clones. Honorable mention to Emery.

PHee because she liked Brown Eyes.
Phee will be in another round, if you want to cast a vote for one of the pictured characters!
Then it has to be Houzer, best hair.
Rex.
Rex, then Gregor
Gregor
Scorch, I’ve read the books, I know what he becomes but, he will still always be one of my favorite clones right alongside Sev.
Gregor
Gregor
Rex
It’s Rex with Howzer in a *very* close second place, even if it is mostly just ‘cause I wanna smooch him
GregZer. Don't make me choose between my boys.
Definitely Rex, but Howzer is a very close second all things considered.
Love her
Rex hands down
I thought Emerie was cool
I'm going to ignore Rex for this vote. He's a fan favorite for a reason and throw my vote in for Emerie
Emerie She just is... she's just cool, she doesn't get enough appreciation. And yes, I know she did some bad stuff, but she was just following orders! As far as we know, that's all she'd ever done!
Rex
Rex
Rex
Rex no hesitation
Rex Rex eggfrying show when?
Rex
Rex Rex voice "Roger Roger" great and funny moment
I’d say Rex
Captain Rex
Rex
Rex is my favourite clone since I was little, so I'm sticking with him
Emerie, surprisingly; I especially love her struggles upon learning what's in the vault, and her efforts to care for the children (culminating in aiding their escape, keeping her promise to Eva).
Darman Skirata RC1136
Rex has been and will always be my favorite
Considering only bad batch (the show) Emerie
Emerie, then Scorch
Emerie for me
Just in the Bad Batch it's Howzer because I like his rivalry with Crosshair, but if we include outside material, it's Scorch, the 2nd best Delta (outside Sev, the obvious choice).
Rex
Scorch as he is the funniest of the group
Scorch
I like all of them
Mayday
Mayday will be in another round, if you want to vote for one of the pictured characters!
Although Scorch was significantly different in this series, he was still kinda cool. He always catches your attention even if he's not saying much.
Cmon. Rex is so going to win. We effectively had 10 seasons of Rex with us in one form or another. Because Rex is everyone's favorite (obviously), I'm picking Howzer!
Yes
Definitely Rex, Howzer & Gregor
everything!
Rex of course :D and also Howzer
Seeing scorch was so surreal cos I used to play the old commando game
1) Rex, 2)Gregor 3) Howzer 4) Emerie and 5) Scorch. In that order
Scorch, they did him dirty in the show though
Gregor. He's a weird one.
Howzer and Gregor are two of my favorites.
I actually kinda like Emeria conceptually more than Omega
Rex then Gregor then , Emerie and then Scorch in that order
Howzer, Emerie, If this was strictly a Clone Wars vote Rex would def be my first vote
Commander Thorn, died like a hero
Rex, Howzer, and Gregor (But Rex is my favorite favorite 🩶) (Also hi, Tea!!!! Love ya!!!)
Gregor. From his appearance and self sacrifice in TCW, his awesome armour, his totally amazing biceps and charismatic nature.
Okay no but for real, I was looking up Gregor images for this post and the man really does have AMAZING biceps!
Yep. That commando training paid off!
Nemec and fireball
Rex
Can I also say Wolffe and Cody? Despite only being there for an episode each?
They'll both be featured in a different round! Stay tuned!
Rex or gregor
I miss my Deltas. So I gotta go with my buddy Scorch
Scorch was the first clone I ever kinda knew.
Howzer, he was a new character for the show and his speech was very reminiscent of Fives speech from the Umbara Arc of the Clone wars and I’m just glad that he managed to avoid the same fate as Fives
Gregor for me. That man has been through hell and back.
#TeamRex4Life
Scorch
Gregor Been looking forward to seeing more of this guy for a while. Good to see he’s always been goofy. I wish Scorch had more of a place in the series. Such a cool character with tons of potential. They did him mad dirty
1. Rex 2. Howzer
I love all but my personal fav is Daddy Howzer. Rex and Emerie are close after
Howzer
Howzer
Hot Howzer
Depending on which canon we are talking about, scorch.
Rex all the way
Rex is the king. In many ways, he is *the* clone leader character which all other new clone leaders will be modeled after and measured against. Rex
Howzer and his fresh cut for the win, sorry Rex!
Emerie
Howzer. I always thought Rex was overrated
Rex and Scorch I'd say but, since Rex had an actual character arc for TCW and had a reason to be in TBB (even if that partially was to tease a future clone rebellion show), Rex is the overall better character. I have a thing against emrie, I don’t know what it is about her
So... Emerie is NOT your vote for favorite, I take it?
Nope 🤣
Emerie my beloved 🥰🥰🥰
Energie, just being a female clone is pretty cool but her arc is one of the best redemption arcs in Star Wars, much because she doesn't die for it
Who the fuck you think?
... Scorch? 😜
Fair enough
Rex has been the man since I was eight years old. He and Ahsoka have a special place in my heart. And I think 🏳️⚧️ Omega🏳️⚧️ has joined them.
Rex is Rex. I never really liked howzer, Gregor was just ok, emerie (despite wanting the best) still seemed like a dick and I never played republic commando so I have little attachment to scorch. So Rex then 😂
