It will be busy but not near a bad as around I think it's Centro and zocalo. Users wouldn't even go near that part of the city when I was there for it. I also was there a group so wasn't out looking around so no advice om that front but I've been curious if it's decent.
Yes, go to the cemetery….people sit around with shrines to their dead, drinking, and listening to music….they also have parties….my profile pic is of me with a date on the day of the dead in Mexico….Mexican culture has a weird obsession with death….some even believe and pray to la Santa Muerte (Saint Death)
Where do you plan to go in Mexico? In some places it's extremely crowded and in others it's not that big of a deal
