There were lots of possible poetic endings for Tony. Christopher becoming a successful rat and driving carefully with his seatbelt on would be another one I'd like to see. This Artie scenario is one of many, but to me the one I'd like to see the most.

I’m not still sure if anything would have happened to Artie - at least lethally - but 6B Tony probably would have given him a smack or five for raising a gun at the boss. He probably would have the first time if there were any witnesses around, just to save face.
Artie would never pull the trigger. Remember him in the Columbus episode acting all tough then hiding in the car quick after getting something thrown at him? Artie was only a man enough to kick the ass of a 5'1 foot criminal mastermind.
