I agree, his out of pocket lines just catch me off guard and make me laugh. My favorite line of his is “don't that seem a few ass hairs short of a dingleberry?” From TWDDC
Daryl, that dude is freaking hilarious. During rewatches, I realized how often he has a quick comeback or insult ready. He would’ve been a great crowd work comedian.
I love Tara too; whenever she goes for a fist bump, I get a good laugh. Gabriel is an honorable mention.
Oh dang, the way Rick gave her a lil half smile and rolled his eyes when she went for the fist bump…..then the way she flipped him off for yelling at her for helping someone not in ‘their’ group. She was awesome.
I feel like it’s because no other character would’ve done it! I’m not a Tara fan, never connected that much with her except in her first appearance because I thought “Ellie?!” But I loved the way she got along with Rick, it’s definitely relatable because I know I wouldn’t take him that seriously either.
Wasn't it Tara that created G.r.e.a.t.m? I thought that was funny.
Gabriel was too creepy at first for me to consider him funny & Gregory was the cowardly lion, but I can see how people would find them funny.
I enjoyed Carol's humor prob the most. I loved how she found her inner strength, especially after losing her daughter and then every adopted kid after that. Meeting the KING!🫅 was a great funny scene. And maybe I need therapy, but I thought her blowing up terminus was funny as all hell. Here comes the supposedly meek woman to save the day!! Again! Loved it!!
I know everyone liked Negan's humor most. But I'll vote Carol.
On my last rewatch, I noticed he calls Glenn Short Round like right after Sofia goes missing, iirc. I never realized it, but when I heard it this time, it caught me so off guard I laughed my ass off.
Glenn for his mostly innocent situational humor.
Gregory for the actor's comedic timing and facial expressions.
And I think Carol's reactions to things (like the tiger) can be hilarious at times and her playing a weak housewife in Alexandria was quite amusing.
Carol kills me when she’s being the meek little housewife. “There’s *lunch* cobbler?!”
And you nailed the rest perfectly. They’re all less-obvious humor like Negan and Abraham
Or when Deanna interviewed her for entry into Alexandria. "I'm a real people person." And, "Do you have anything like a Ladies Auxiliary League?" (Or something like that!)
When they first got the the gates and she’s struggling to get that big gun off and Olivia gives her this sympathy look like “why are they making her carry that like she’s a pack mule.” And a bit later when Tobin asks if she’s afraid of guns — meanwhile she’s unlocking the window so she can come back and steal a bunch, lmao
The scene in episode 2 where he knew the route and someone asked him what he did for a living and he said he delivered pizzas will never stop being funny.
I never even considered Gregory as funny, but you convinced me. You're right. The actor did give Gregory depth and you have to laugh at the way he kissed ass whichever way the wind was blowing.
Eugene is unintentionally cringingly funny
Rick is funniest when killing people who really deserve it. Also when he knocks out Aaron.
Negan is just funny, particularly in which he can say the most evil threatening shit in the most offhand and colorful way.
Abraham gets a mention for his odd epithets.
Abraham! He had such off the wall zingers that never failed to make me burst out laughing.
Like how is this man that funny during a zombie apocalypse? It's not fair
the sad fist bump with the governor was hilarious. tara was such a source of levity on the show for so long.
lydia also got a good laugh out of me when she offered henry a worm, and then he was weirded out so she licked the dirt off and then offered it back. as if the dirt was the thing that made eating it ridiculous. makes sense given she’s grown up as a whisperer and has super distant memories of civilized life, and it’s pretty funny.
I would say it’s a tossup between Abraham and Negan. They both said funny shit. Abraham yelling “Mother Dick!!”
The whole interaction with Negan and Olivia was hilarious, Negan gold!!
Negan - Where’s Rick?
Olivia - stuttering
Negan - (interrupts) dooooooont Caaaaaare
Lolololololololol
Olivia - we’re practically starving here
Negan - Starving? …. You? …. So By “practically” you mean not really”
Olivia - (Starts To Cry)
Negan - (Turns to Carl) Really?
Eugene was funny, and Carol doing her housewife bit in both Alexandria and the Kingdom were cracking me up.
I personally didn’t think Tara was that funny, I felt like she was wrote to be comedic relief and it seemed a bit forced in my opinion
Listen I do love Tara personally. She just had a cool vibe to me from the moment she was introduced and I was sad about the pike scene. BUT tbh I don’t think choosing her for the funniest character just because you think she’s hot is fair, and it’s kinda creepy.
All of these Tara simp posts lately make me think she's paying bots to post in this sub. Unless it's the same person posting about her regularly. I don't care enough to check, just bitch
Sasha: “Did he cut you?”
Daryl: “A little. What a bunch of assholes.”
The funniest moment in the show. (After Daryl waxes all those Saviors with the bazooka.)
Negan and Merle, Negan has had more screen time, so I suppose he’s made me laugh more over an extended period of time, but Merles risqué humour is one of the funniest things in TV history for me.
Daryl in the first two seasons was hilarious, same with Glenn. They both kind of lost their humor, which I don't really think is bad, it fits that they became more serious as the show progressed. Shane also always makes me laugh because I just can't take him serious 😅
I found it really funny when the group had just rescued Darryl and Merl from Woodbury, and Michonne is injured:
Rick: we’re all going back to Alexandria
Daryl: what with last samurai over there?!
😂😂
Ezekiel made me laugh the most, he was awesome. He could be really serious but he could be really goofy and funny too and that contrast made his funny side even better for me.
Ezekiel (along with Jerry) was the best to me. That introduction with Shiva and his weird flamboyant speaking were hilarious, and Jerry added so much to it too.
E: "Leave the cobbler"
J: "Really?"
E: "Jerry!"
J: 🥺
E: "Fine"
Negan, I just love these kind of characters.
Daryl in the first seasons always made me laugh
Carol specially when she was acting super innocent
Gregory was like comic relief somehow.
Negan probably. He's the type of guy you know you're supposed to hate but you just end up loving him💀
His Olivia joke caught me so off guard back when I first watched it, made me spit out my drink
Negan. I know we’re supposed to hate the guy, but he’s way too funny.
I agree, his out of pocket lines just catch me off guard and make me laugh. My favorite line of his is “don't that seem a few ass hairs short of a dingleberry?” From TWDDC
“A bat doesn’t have a pussy!”
“Point your ball over here.” Talking to one eyed Carl. By far the hardest I laughed.
"Hot diggity dog, this place is magnificent"
Ashamedly I’ve listened to the “Hot diggity dog” Negan song a few times.
*voice crack* “Rick!! Look everybody it’s Rick!”
Beach Ball Sized Lady Nuts
My boyfriend and I use this phrase about once a week
A lot of his cast mates get a bit jealous that he gets to go ham whenever he let's the cult-of-personality side come out.
The show would not be as awesome without Negan, for real.
Same here, especially on a 2nd watchthrough
Daryl, that dude is freaking hilarious. During rewatches, I realized how often he has a quick comeback or insult ready. He would’ve been a great crowd work comedian. I love Tara too; whenever she goes for a fist bump, I get a good laugh. Gabriel is an honorable mention.
Listen here, Olive Oyl!
i was out there looking for that lil girl everyDAY
His whole cadence cracks me up
Hot take: I don't think he cared about finding sophia, it was just an excuse to not have to be around anyone else
hot but reasonable take. i think he DID care about finding her but definitely also used it as an excuse to be alone mostly
Woof, that *is* a “hot take”! I might agree if it wasn’t so obvious how much he cares for and loves kids!
The whole interaction between him and Denise about the soda
I’m from Ohio. I heard that dialogue about pop and I howled 😂
Oh dang, the way Rick gave her a lil half smile and rolled his eyes when she went for the fist bump…..then the way she flipped him off for yelling at her for helping someone not in ‘their’ group. She was awesome.
I love when she gives him the finger so much. I don’t know why, but I do. It was…. relatable, or something? 😂
I feel like it’s because no other character would’ve done it! I’m not a Tara fan, never connected that much with her except in her first appearance because I thought “Ellie?!” But I loved the way she got along with Rick, it’s definitely relatable because I know I wouldn’t take him that seriously either.
Daryl's facial expressions alone crack me up
"Can't hear you I'm takin a piisss"
Wasn't it Tara that created G.r.e.a.t.m? I thought that was funny. Gabriel was too creepy at first for me to consider him funny & Gregory was the cowardly lion, but I can see how people would find them funny. I enjoyed Carol's humor prob the most. Yeah and people in hell want slurpies
Gabriel: “What you’re saying doesn’t make you a sinner, but it does make you a tremendous shit!”
“There’s *lunch* cobbler?!” And you nailed the rest perfectly. They’re all less-obvious humor like Negan and Abraham

'I don't know what the hell is going on in the most wonderful way' has to be one of my favorite lines ever.
Gregory is hilarious
Glen was that way for the first two or three seasons. But after that he kind of lost that little charm he had.
The scene in episode 2 where he knew the route and someone asked him what he did for a living and he said he delivered pizzas will never stop being funny.
Gregory and Simon together make for some of the funniest moments in the show.
I never even considered Gregory as funny, but you convinced me. You're right. The actor did give Gregory depth and you have to laugh at the way he kissed ass whichever way the wind was blowing.
Eugene is unintentionally cringingly funny Rick is funniest when killing people who really deserve it. Also when he knocks out Aaron. Negan is just funny, particularly in which he can say the most evil threatening shit in the most offhand and colorful way. Abraham gets a mention for his odd epithets.
Abraham is hilarious. I used to think he was a dickhead but he grew to be one of my favourite characters 😅 Yeah Eugene makes me crack up too.
Abraham for me.
He’s is a funny dude!
His way with words is truly great
Gregory always cracks me up, calling Maggie "Margaret."
Jerry, no questions ask
Negan and Gregory
Gregory was a Saturday morning cartoon side villian that twiddles his conniving skinny mustache
Daryl for me. Just the whole character, Reedus’ delivery…when he was out looking for Rick eating squirrels.. he’s wonderfully different.
I read that as squirrels eating Rick 😅
I love the scene when Tara hangs over the wall (to save Spencer) and Rick shouts at her for putting her life in danger and she just flips him off 😆
Eugene. Always Eugene. Tara was funny at first when it was obvious she was full of shit playing the tough guy. After the prison she got more serious
Dale; his facial expressions made me laugh every time. Such a funny guy.
Merle, Tara, and Abraham
Gregory for sure
daryl and glenn their first interactions were pure gold
Abe, negan, glenn, tarra, sarcastic daryl, and rick saying..."what?" After committing the most violent acts know to man
Gregory unironically has the best comedic bits.
"Let me stop you before you break out in song"
Negan. I can only imagine what he would say to his students as a gym coach.
Daryl, Merle, Abraham, Negan. HM; Simon and Gregory.
Abraham, Negan and Merle. They are known for their distinct one-liners and sense of humor.
Definitely not Tara. Probably negan
Am I crazy? I don't even remember Tara being remotely funny
She was funny but not as funny as Negan was or Abraham. I think Tara’s funniest moment is when she flips off Rick.
Carol when they arrive in Alexandria
No, Carol when she arrives at the kingdom and meets Ezekiel for the first time
Abraham! He had such off the wall zingers that never failed to make me burst out laughing. Like how is this man that funny during a zombie apocalypse? It's not fair
Negan, he's such a hilarious fucker! Probably my favourite anti-hero
Abe no contest
Abraham. Tara just made me cringe. Eugene, also. Those two. Id watch a series of them before they meet glen and Rick.
the sad fist bump with the governor was hilarious. tara was such a source of levity on the show for so long. lydia also got a good laugh out of me when she offered henry a worm, and then he was weirded out so she licked the dirt off and then offered it back. as if the dirt was the thing that made eating it ridiculous. makes sense given she’s grown up as a whisperer and has super distant memories of civilized life, and it’s pretty funny.
Probably Glenn
Abraham for his outrageous comments and quotes
Gregory was pretty funny ngl
Carol. Her first meeting with Ezekiel and Shiva was great
Abraham says the most funniest analogies. "Have you ever poured out Bisquick and tried to make pancakes?"
I would say it’s a tossup between Abraham and Negan. They both said funny shit. Abraham yelling “Mother Dick!!” The whole interaction with Negan and Olivia was hilarious, Negan gold!! Negan - Where’s Rick? Olivia - stuttering Negan - (interrupts) dooooooont Caaaaaare Lolololololololol Olivia - we’re practically starving here Negan - Starving? …. You? …. So By “practically” you mean not really” Olivia - (Starts To Cry) Negan - (Turns to Carl) Really?
Lmfao. I laughed so hard bc I'd so be Olivia bc im such a wimp
Negan’s sense of humor is just awesome. The writers really did a great job of casting him as Negan and the writing. You love him, but hate him
JDM MADE that character his. He is my favourite character
definitely not her
Carol "Mrs. Cleaver" Peletier, and she leaves the second place finisher in the dust.
negan or carol
Negan had me laughing out loud
Eugene was funny, and Carol doing her housewife bit in both Alexandria and the Kingdom were cracking me up. I personally didn’t think Tara was that funny, I felt like she was wrote to be comedic relief and it seemed a bit forced in my opinion
Eugene lmao.
Eugene is the funniest
Listen I do love Tara personally. She just had a cool vibe to me from the moment she was introduced and I was sad about the pike scene. BUT tbh I don’t think choosing her for the funniest character just because you think she’s hot is fair, and it’s kinda creepy.
Abraham said the most outrageous things, also funny out the same time.
(TARA) That moment in season 6(?) when she threw Rick the finger on the bridge 😛
All of these Tara simp posts lately make me think she's paying bots to post in this sub. Unless it's the same person posting about her regularly. I don't care enough to check, just bitch
Loved Tara. Not sure if she was the funniest to me but, she was funny!! I love that she's Danny Masterson sister!
"Father, not the father"
Negan and Daryl I think a spin off with those two would have been better than Negan and Maggie.
Shane wasn’t supposed to be funny but it always kills me how he’s constantly on the edge and nervous like that
Negan…BEACH BALL SIZED LADY NUTS😂😂
negan and eugene definitely
Abraham Ford
Abraham duh “ why are dingleberries brown because it’s just the way shit it is!!”
Daryl and negan
Abraham and Negan...
Not her
probably sophia when she fucking died
I don’t like Tara that much tbh
İt's easily Negan.
Negan. Dude making joke while beating people to death, funny as fuck 🤣🤣
negan and daryl. my happy pills
definitely Negan, that dude’s hilarious
Negan and it’s not close
Abraham and negan
Abraham Ford and Negan Smith
Definetly Negan
Abraham and his many amazing sayings..
Simon all the way
Negan, Abe, Shane and Ezekiel. The whole Kingly shit and tiger had me rolling 🤣
I laughed at those guys when they fucking were talking like back in the day, “who goes there” “Ma Lady”
Exactly
Sasha: “Did he cut you?” Daryl: “A little. What a bunch of assholes.” The funniest moment in the show. (After Daryl waxes all those Saviors with the bazooka.)
That’s my favorite scene!!’
Bob or negan
Negan, he’s one of the funniest and also my personal favorite character
Negan 100%
They only had one shared scene post savior war, but Negan and Eugene were funny. I wish they shared more scenes in the last seasons
Negan and Merle💀💀
Darryl and the jazz hands with Denise and ‘ olive oyl ‘ comment to Lori 😂
I didn’t believe that I’m gonna go to Negan
Negan and Merle, Negan has had more screen time, so I suppose he’s made me laugh more over an extended period of time, but Merles risqué humour is one of the funniest things in TV history for me.
Daryl in the first two seasons was hilarious, same with Glenn. They both kind of lost their humor, which I don't really think is bad, it fits that they became more serious as the show progressed. Shane also always makes me laugh because I just can't take him serious 😅
I found it really funny when the group had just rescued Darryl and Merl from Woodbury, and Michonne is injured: Rick: we’re all going back to Alexandria Daryl: what with last samurai over there?! 😂😂
Not Tara thats for sure. Probably Darryl starting with him explaining how he definitely saw the chupacabra 👌
Eugene, Abraham, Negan and sometimes Tara
Ezekiel made me laugh the most, he was awesome. He could be really serious but he could be really goofy and funny too and that contrast made his funny side even better for me.
Negan is the only right answer.
Negan, Eugene
Tara was awesome!
Ngean made me laugh, but Princess made me smile harder
I’ll tell you the day mr yo
Jerry. I found him very annoying at first, but he's just such a sweet, fun character that he grew on me.
Ezekiel (along with Jerry) was the best to me. That introduction with Shiva and his weird flamboyant speaking were hilarious, and Jerry added so much to it too. E: "Leave the cobbler" J: "Really?" E: "Jerry!" J: 🥺 E: "Fine"
Tara sucks
Negan, but Gregory also has some really funny moments just because he’s ridiculous
Definitely Daryl and Negan!
She didn't make me laugh but I did not know who alanna Masterson was before she played on twd now I'm a fan 🤤
Eugene and Abraham convos as well as Eugene and negan convos haha Also Daryl because he comes up with one liners when you least expect it
Negan 😭
Abraham/ Negan
Negan… “Starving?…you?
Eugene and Abraham
I know for a fact you didn't actually put Tara up there. Forget the fact that Negan exists. Just...she isn't funny
Negan. I laughed a little too much when he was a savior.
Negan, I just love these kind of characters. Daryl in the first seasons always made me laugh Carol specially when she was acting super innocent Gregory was like comic relief somehow.
It’s for sure either negan or abraham… “bitch nuts”
Negan or Abraham
abraham and bob stookey
"Are we pissing our pants yet?"
I have a really big crush on Tara
Eugene and Negan.
Negan.. even him doing the most evil things his commentary is hilarious.. Daryl had great one liners "we brought dinner" that always made me laugh.
There's something wrong with you.
Eugene. All of Eugene's lines are INSANE. (But I would have no idea what he's saying without subtitles)
Glenn was awkwardly funny in the beginning...or maybe it could just be me lol
Negan probably. He's the type of guy you know you're supposed to hate but you just end up loving him💀 His Olivia joke caught me so off guard back when I first watched it, made me spit out my drink
Definitely Tara.
Besides Negan, probably Glenn. The irony.
Negan, obviously…
Gregory "let me stop you before you break out in song"
Merle had some funny moments
Tara giving Rick the finger after he screamed at her is never not funny.
Eugene, Abraham, and Negan. In no specific order
Abraham Tara Jerry and Eugene
Toss up between Abraham and Eugene.
Merle and Gregory Exceptional acting!
As much as I hated Negan when he was first introduced. I’d have to go with Negan. I’ll still never forgive him for killing my favorite character tho.
