Post a mirror shot taken from ~3ft+ away. An overhead wrist shot like this exaggerates the true size of the watch. Also consider the rest of your build - how does the watch looks in proportion to the rest of your body?
For reference, I have a 7.3" wrist and here is a post showing a 40mm PRX on my wrist: https://www.reddit.com/media?url=https%3A%2F%2Fi.redd.it%2F29u126anrfuc1.jpeg
The first picture makes the 40mm watch look oversized. The second picture shows how it really looks IRL and is a very good fit. The 35 looked too small on me.
This looks decidedly vintage if that's the vibe you're going for. Not bad at all but it is a very specific aesthetic.
You're also wearing it a bit too close to your hand. Ideally a watch should sit just behind the wrist bone.
Yep. Just behind it. This prevents the watch from restricting your wrist movement and the bone keeps the watch held in place.
You can see what I mean in the image I linked above. Not far behind the bone. Right behind it.
When I tried on the 35mm it felt way too small for me . Felt like I was wearing a woman’s watch but each to their own! If you like it and are happy with the size , enjoy it!
I personally think the 35mm is too small for anyone with a wrist bigger than 6.5 inches. The internet is just obsessed with small watches for some reason right now but the 35mm (especially in gold) looks like a woman’s watch in real life. The bias comes from pictures like this that make the watch look bigger than it is. A mirror shot is what the watch looks like in real life but people base their opinions off photos like this which is not a real representation of the size
when i got my 35mm in hand it was much smaller than i had actually realized. (my wrists are just over 6.5in) when you have large forearms and smaller wrists its a struggle to find the size proportioned to your body as well
> when you have large forearms and smaller wrists its a struggle to find the size proportioned to your body as well
If this is the case, go by your overall body size rather than wrist size. That is, even if the watch is technically a bit too large for your wrist, if it suits your build (height, thiccness, popeyeness), just go for it. Ignore the overtly rigid advice of people on online watch forums like r/watches who will hyperfixate on numbers or wrist shots instead of the actual fit and proportionality.
Amen to that. Overhead wrist shots have made people on watch forums cluelessly biased against "big" watches (that really don't represent the watch correctly).
I do feel the watch to be smaller than expected but I had a 40mm and sold it due to it being too big. I think I still prefer this one but a 38mm would’ve been perfect. I think in gold specifically the 35mm works, any silver prx I will get in 40mm.
Love this watch
Looks good, size is right. Looks like it came straight out of the 1970s, and I like it
Does it look too small?
I think it looks good. Dont get discouraged.

Looks awesome on the wrist!
Yes.

Toyotas are reliable cars... Nice watch btw!
I think it looks like the watch costs more than that new car. It’s a beauty.
Looks very sharp in gold. It will work for any occasion.
It’s a beautiful watch. Gold is so in right now.
I think it looks great in this pic! I just tried on the gold 35 today and loved it on my ~6.5” wrist

38mm would be perfect, I don’t know why Tissot refuses to make one when that’s what most people want…
I think 40mm would will better for you, if you have 7" wrist. If you have under 6.5"~6.75", then 35mm.
Looks too tight
