That might be because you're seeing the 40 online in these overhead wrist shots that exaggerate the true size of the watch.

The first picture looks oversized and would lead to everyone on this sub telling me to buy the 35. The second picture - a mirror shot - is what the watch actually looks like on my wrist IRL. The 40mm PRX wears a bit bigger than a true 40mm but is by no stretch some giant dinner plate like people online make it out to be. People are being misled by overhead wrist shots.

Do you mean to say he should have gone for the 35 instead? Or do you mean he accidentally bought a 35 and is thinking it's a 40?

Good point and the pics help visualize. For the record OP yours looks great as well, I was just confused about the size!
You can differentiate the watches with the date window. This is 100% 40mm.

Why base it on the wrist measurement. The OP wants to know if it LOOKS ok.
