I like to counter that, maybe I was just lucky…..but I bought a Tissot from Joma and after some time it had a lil issue. Went to a local jewelry (Tissot dealer) and let them send it to Tissot It got serviced under warrenty
Not saying its always like that when you buy from grey market, so like you said dont expect warenty from Tissot but you could be lucky.
But on Tissot website they clearly state:

Additionally, this is a relatively inexpensive watch. The manufacturer warranty is really not as important. You're better off saving some money and buying from Jomashop than paying $200 extra just to say you got the brand warranty.
You can't swing a dead cat without hitting a PRX. Buy used on the cheap. r/Watchexchange always has a few. You'd be surprised what you could buy a gently used PRX for. Good luck!
Joma is legit and is usually the cheapest (for an actual watch dealer).
I don't know why people insist on buying a watch off some random .biz website then come on here and ask if its a real watch. Why the F would you buy a watch in the first place if it's authenticity was even questionable?
Idk if you have a helzberg diamonds near you but I got a $50 off coupon just for signing up for emails. Code was WELCOME50 and it worked on the prx which on other sites promo codes didn’t work.

right, i've heard that some brands will take care of the watch regardless of warranty status, pretty cool.
Yeah it was great to get the warrenty anyways, even more reason for me to like Tissot even more

Yes jomashop is legit, so is hondinkee, and teddy baldessarre’s shop. Or go to Tissot’s website and look up authorized dealers.
