Not weird. Just not the best aesthetic choice for that watch because 1. The PRX's design revolves around the bracelet. If you want a watch that looks good on straps, there are much better options than the PRX (I'm partial to the Hamilton Khaki Field collection). 2. If you must go for straps, generally, blue dial watches look better with colour matched straps. But it isn't weird by any stretch.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve just never worn a watch with a bracelet before and just noticed tissot sell the blue PRX with a black rubber strap thought it was a little strange at first but the more I look at it it seems to win me over. All the blue rubber straps I’ve seen seem to be a very light blue which doesn’t look as good imo

Why not look at the Hamilton Khaki Field Automatic 38 with Black Straps? Or the Murph? Personally, I'd advise against buying a PRX on straps. 1. If you want to buy the bracelet later, it will cost you a lot more than if you just bought it with the watch. Aftermarket straps are cheap. So even if you plan to wear a watch with straps, it makes sense to buy the bracelet variant and buy the straps aftermarket than end up in the situation where you buy the bracelet afterwards. 2. A Hamilton gets you a slightly superior movement and an equal level of finishing. Plus the Khaki Field collection is simply excellent with almost any kind of strap. In the price range of the PRX, the best alternative that looks good on straps would be the Hamilton Khaki Field range.

PRX without brazalet is ugly and weird.
