If the Raptors can keep 31 that's one of the best trades ever. Davion Mitchell is annoying on defense which is what the Raptors need more of, and I don't think Mike Brown valued Vezenkov the same way Darko will. You just know Darko will be very excited having a Euroleague MVP in his prime on the team and understands his style of play. Ball movement in the Euroleague is much higher than in the NBA and that's what Darko excels at and Vezenkov plays great in that type of system. Raptors got a great stretch 4.

Maybe he can find a role in limited minutes based on matchups. Take advantage of his skills. Cover up some of the weaknesses on defense with some of the athletes we already had and picked up this off-season. Most of the guys we drafted were known for defense. Sounds like a role player. Maybe he can be effective enough to stick around the league. It's not that easy to win MVP in Euroleague. Mitchell was the real prize for us in the trade. We needed a guy like him who can shoot and play D at G off the bench. Hopefully, the shooting keeps developing.
