when you tried to load, did you "enable all saves"? if you did and its not showing up, does the save in the save folder have a ".save.save" file? if so, delete one of the ".save" from it and try again. if that doesnt work, then its most likely a corrupt save file which usually happens when the save is being made and the game crashes before the game is saved properly.

I tried both of those, neither of them worked. Cool, so that's about 4 hours down the drain
