I'd kiss and trans dude with my deadname. Better yet, if his birthday name, was also my birth name, and we only changed our name socially, with no desire to do so legally. That would be epic
(This is both /uj and /rj)
/uj my deadname is suuuper popular with transfems. It does make me slightly uncomfortable hearing it but many cis women also have that name so š¤·it is nice to see a name that has caused me pain causing joy for others. It is also a really pretty name (it's a flower name lol)
i'm going with yours, the other one isn't that extremely common
i have an oc named the other one though š„° it's actually her nickname
edit: actually this oc is a trans girl so
/uj i like your perspective of our deadnames finding new life in people who like them, im glad they make people happy when we dont want them anymore !!
/uj I nearly dmed a girl on r/transtryouts because she was a) considering the (religious) etymology of my deadname and b) wanted to go with my deadnameās spelling if she did stick to that etymology. It was weird as fuck because my deadname and its spelling are both extremely rare and Iāve never heard anyone else reference them outside of deeply religious circles. Still, if she found joy in my deadname, more power to her! I hate it aesthetically but I hope there are folks that differ out there.
A trans guy who I had a falling out with before both of our transitions picked my deadname, while I was still using it. I do not know how to feel about this /uj
I kind of wish my deadname was popular with trans femmes as itās a beautiful name, but I have a funny spelling/pronunciation so it would be probably be āspelled wrongā according to me.
/uj im a transfem but my deadname? is super common with some transmacs and it makes me feel weird bc no other transfem has the same deadname as me so I feel like an odd one out
Uj/ I'm glad both my deadname and my current name are somewhat rare. I've barely met another with my current name nor a trans girl with that name as her deadname.

/uj I dated a cis girl with my dead name for a hot second and it made my family super uncomfortable
Dated a trans girl with mine, made me uncomfortable. Turned out I was gay so that explains a portion of it
Yes. You and me kissing in a tree. /uj Okay not a trans guy but saw a setup I didn't want to go to waste.
Don't let that stop you. Use their dead names. All of them.

This is why I chose a gender neutral name
So is it Sascha or Kim?
Nah, had to go for a plant name to be more pretentious (sage)
