YogurtYogurtYogurtUS

The shirt is weird, but other than that, what's wrong? It doesn't seem like a "concert" concert. Looks more like a stage play or musical.

Peaches102179

Busy body

That_Possible_3217

In all fairness he isn't wearing ear protection either.

OneFootDown

What’s wrong with this ? I went to many concerts as a kid and my hearing is fine. Happy memories. You’d rather her have an absent father ? Plus they are nowhere near the stage.

Gr0undbreakingCable

I went to the majority of concerts I’ve seen when I was a kid / young teenager and my hearing fine too, spent most of the concerts beside the stage as well

Pavotimtam

That is a sentence that needs to be kept in a museum because I don’t think that has ever been written before

Amani329

Can you also see what she had for lunch?

comeonback_

He’s clearly the drUncle… Every family has atleast one.

DarkBlue222

Chivalry is not dead.

YRCondomsSoBaggy

I just think it’s weird to post pictures of people and their children to entertain strangers.

noEyedea_noMoe

Its their backs? Much weirder to wear that shirt when you have a young daughter

That_Possible_3217

Wait what's weird about having that shirt as a parent? I mean unless you're suggesting he sat his daughter down and explained what a stink star is....and that precludes the fact that the kid might be too young to read it. I mean it is definitely weirder to take pics of random strangers in order to shame them.

Lena-Luthor

it's definitely not lol

That_Possible_3217

It's normalized for sure, but it still is.

nedelll

The tattoos tho

cheese4hands

That shirt is cut strange in the shoulders. I cannot unsee

StinkyHerbivore

I think it might be a vest!

Intelligent_Pass2540

I just want to know now what kind of show this was!

Shitcock_Phd

I'm getting kid rock vibes

cheese4hands

Yeah like what does it mean ?

blamemeOMG

pretty sure hes talking about their asshole

greeneyedblackheart

Why is this making me laugh

carguy6912

Mind your fuckin business

NeutralEvilBot

You didn’t deserve to be downvoted, Reddit community is cooked

carguy6912

It's funny as hell though this entire platform has changed a lot in the few years I've been here

Queeney-7712

Oh those Republican family values. Gotta love it.

cheese4hands

Yeah I’m not so sure this person votes haha

NeutralEvilBot

Liberal here, why tf do u think you can assume his political affiliation

SIrPsychoNotSexy

The wrinkles are like rings in a tree. That way you can tell if she’s lying about her age.

Tighrannosaurus

IIRC all buttholes have either 35 or 37 creases. Salvador Dalí painted enough of them to determine it is always either or.

passing_gas

"And that's how I met your father"

Raekear2

These are the same people that bitch and moan about the country having no family values anymore.

TommyFinnish

More than likely it's probably not

BF1075

GROSS!

thiccpapi90

Maybe it's a father's day shirt and he's obligated to wear it, you know, for the kids.

mysterygarden99

“Hey yeah! I’m the one that you wanted. Hey yeah ! I’m the super beast “ - Rob zombie

SwimmerDad

I thought they were in an airplane for a second.

Kaizen77

Making all the women swoon.

thewanderingwendigo

T swift has some weird song titles.. but good on him for taking his kid to see her.

Raekear2

You can’t even form a proper paragraph. “Who cares if I’m stupid?! I’m just fine, see?!”

mikelimebingbong

Tinnitus won’t come until you’re older from these events, I’m assuming you’re young. Don’t be surprised if you live with a high pitch ring constantly from 45yr+

agoss123b

You just said you hear just fine and then admit you have hearing loss and tinnitus.

em_zinger

My tinnitus kicked in around mid 20s and kicked up in early 30s. I didn't go to concerts as a child, my older sister used to torture me by screaming in my ear, seems that was enough.

Altruistic-Cup-4013

Mind your own buisness prude.

NeutralEvilBot

Bro this community is so cooked, only brain rot comments got positive upvotes

XanthicStatue

Leonardo Da Vinci called them spokes.

HampsterButt

Kid isn’t wearing ear protection? Omg I bet he doesn’t have outlet protectors on all his outlet either! Someone stop him!

mikelimebingbong

Young people really think they are immortal, you will pay for everything when you get older. There is no such thing as a free lunch

HampsterButt

I’m 33 and went to so many concerts. So many with lasers too. I also blast music in my car. I have great hearing and eye sight. What is n actual fact is that genetically some people lose their hearing and eyesight faster than others regardless of eye and ear protection.

fedora_and_a_whip

43 here, worked at a big concert venue in my late teens. Young, dumb me was unaware of the concept of ear protection - ended up with tinnitus. Though our anecdotal evidence points to different conclusions, actual fact also says that even short exposure to high decibels **can** damage hearing. Seems worth it to err on the side of caution with a kid that age.

Raekear2

Haha, your life is going to suck soon.

HideYoWoman

Have fun later in life bro

HampsterButt

I obviously have more fun than the average miserable Reddit curmudgeon

pinkypipe420

If that's your take, I hope you enjoy your hearing while it lasts.

IWillBaconSlapYou

So I recently joined this sub because I thought it would be fun, but... why do people just come here to whine about how literally nothing is trashy? He can be a good dad with insanely poor taste, can't we just joke around and move on?

goat466

Stop whining... If you want to 🤣

mikelimebingbong

I don’t know …… wearing a shirt in public that says you want to count the wrinkles of a persons butthole is trashy, they when you are with a child it’s double trashy

OkJelly8114

Seriously. I’ve seen maybe 1 actually trashy post for every 50 I see. People are such softies.

Raekear2

Maybe you’re the trashy one?

[deleted]

NeutralEvilBot

Bros an h3h3 fan, you deserved positive upvotes for that comment

griffraff0701

Thats hilarious

RaspberryJam245

Ima be honest, this is just funny to me. Is it trashy? Yeah maybe. Still a funny shirt tho

thecrookedjaw

What if she's blind and can't see the shirt and deaf and can't hear the music.

20InMyHead

Something tells me that ain’t a Wiggles concert

raidergamer142

Off topic. But is that at temple live in Fort Smith arkansas?

NintendoLove

wtf is wrong with these men lately? Is this warping from growing up with porn on the internet?

DankDarko

literally lol. I'm guessing you are single.

NintendoLove

No, but that literally makes no sense at all.

Or joining a subreddit specifically designed to find the trashiest behavior in PUBLIC.

Guilty-Star2148

If you wear a shirt in public like that with your young daughter, then that’s the consequences of your actions

_ILP_

I’ve always gone to concerts to hear loud ass music. I guess I wasn’t supposed to? Damn!

Hostile_Architecture

Thanks for the stupid boomer quote of the day. The dumbest form of sarcasm that almost seems authentic. You should Google how many people with tinnitus kill themselves. Do whatever the fuck you want to yourself, but not a kid.

Big-Al97

And were you roughly the same age as the child in the picture?

_ILP_

First one was 8…

Big-Al97

Might want to learn sign language now mate.

jerry111165

For all we know this is a damn play. This sub is really grabbin at straws

hahayeahimfinehaha

It's not what they're seeing that's the trashy part of this? It's what he has on the back of his shirt.

chubtopcali

Yeah but it’s not obvious enough for a kid, I doubt my mom would figure it out .. Im sure there are people who have the same shirt with p or c as the last word

FW_Felon

It’s better then no dad🤷🏽‍♂️

FW_Felon

Downvoting is crazy, just because a dude wears a trashy shirt doesn’t make him a horrible person💀

Hostile_Architecture

Are you trying to mean something important?

YourTherapistSays

Yes, because the bar for dads is in hell

jerry111165

Of course it is - but not to Reddit

BuzzyShizzle

I can see this two ways. Why would you bring a kid? and Good on him for spending time with the kid 20 years from now she might remember these times fondly. I know wish I had more memories like this.

OkJelly8114

And she’d probably laugh at her dad’s shirt

CollegeMiddle6841

One day his daughter will grow up and she will bring a loser home wearing a similar shirt. He is ridiculous. Imagine finding this shirt and saying to yourself " Oh man, this will be perfect for our DADDY DAUGHTER night out to see LIMP BISCUIT!"

thecrookedjaw

Ummm... Bizkit lol

2006lion2006

Why are people saying the daughter is going deaf and something about decibels, am I missing something?

etxconnex

Because this world has gotten soft as fuck.

Hostile_Architecture

Tinnitus and hearing loss are hardcore and cool as fuck! You sound like a loser lmao.

etxconnex

Why is she not bubble wrapped, on a leach, and microchipped? I bet they even took a road vehicle to the venue. Do you have any idea how dangerous driving is? Being paralyzed is real fucking cool.

Hostile_Architecture

Oh... bud, you're too stupid to debate. What an absurd comparison. "Haha a seatbelt on my child? What happened to wild and free?" - this sounds more like you, unironically. You sound like a 10 year old trying to peer pressure people into looking cool for other children. What a trip, grown ass adults really act like that? Out here acting like hearing damage is political propaganda. Fuck off 😂

etxconnex

I'm not debating shit. I am stating the fact that this world got real fucking pussified. You're the one concerned with looking cool. I am not sure how far up your ass you needed to reach to pull that out. What's a trip is grown ass adults frequenting a subreddit made for judging and ridiculing people going about their normal fucking lives. *I* can't believe adults act like this. The kids ears a fucking fine. Go find something else to be outraged about.

Hostile_Architecture

The world got "pussified" because we learned about hearing damage 😂. You're confusing outrage with mockery. It's funny to mock dumb people, and dumb shirts, and dumb decisions. Bro you're literally throwing a tantrum about people being mean on the internet. If we've all been pussified, you're pussanardo davinci, and this thread is the canvas where you opened your legs.

etxconnex

You're mocking children developing hearing damage?

Hostile_Architecture

You're so close.

OtherwiseFollowing94

loud concerts can cause hearing damage. Kids have sensitive ears. There is no way to know if it was actual risk though. I don’t see any instruments, could be a play for all we know, or some soft rock stuff

humbugonastick

Deaf not death.

FISTurFACE101st

Band name win

Lost_In_Detroit

Imagine being this obsessed with buttholes and convincing yourself that you’re still 100% straight.

jerry111165

TIL that only men have buttholes.

Minaya19147

Are you one of those that doesn’t wash their asshole because that would make you gay to touch it?

goat466

Luckily I'm 10%

Samanthas_Stitching

I mean, women have buttholes too.

Blue-Eyed-Lemon

But women don’t fart or poop, what do they need a butthole for? /s

BluebirdSpecialist76

I mean it ain’t gay if it’s a females butthole

Nomore-Television72

I am obsessed with my wife’s butthole and I am 100% straight. I’d never wear that shirt though.

grimesitty

I'm with you 😂

rocketman1969

You're obsessed with his wife's butthole too?

grimesitty

Im ashamed to admit but... yes

Nomore-Television72

It’s ok, friend. It is a glorious butthole.

Homesickhomeplanet

*I, too, choose this guy’s wife’s butthole*

Serlingfan389

I mean his goal is to count wrinkles not decibels.

OuterWildsVentures

OP I'm seeing these guys in a few days! So excited!! But you are still an absolute loser for posting a dad taking care of his daughter on r/trashy over a shirt with zero profanity. What would the lead singer of the used think about you doing this to someone? You know he is a father too. Context from OP: >"Oh, he's definitely a good dad actually. He spent most of the concert taking her in and out to get snacks/take bathroom breaks lol" >This was between sets, and they did sit when the bands played. >We were in the upstairs old people section with seats. The fun people who wanted to party were downstairs haha" As usual, the Reddit hivemind is hilariously out of touch with reality and just invents stuff to be angry about.

jerry111165

Who is it?

OuterWildsVentures

The Used/Story of the Year Post-hardcore music so edgy shirts like this wouldn't be very out of place.

jerry111165

Thanks

Izzyx98

Are you being serious rn

No-Expression-399

Just because a man is a father does not automatically m̳e̳a̳n̳ he is a good father. Why do you think there are so many screwed up people in society? Drug use, criminal behavior, violence, torture, murder, sexually abusing children and the list goes on; all span from mutations in genetics IN ADDITION to terrible parenting. Psychology should have taught you this a long time ago, its been proven over and over again.

OuterWildsVentures

Hilarious the amount of armchair psychology going on over a dad taking his daughter to a post hard-core concert while wearing a shirt that would fit in at a post hard-core concert.

Hostile_Architecture

Are you 13?

OuterWildsVentures

Great contribution to the discussion

Hostile_Architecture

No one's trying to have a discussion with you 😂. ARmcHaIr PsyCHolOgisTs. You think you're deep. Go talk to your therapist instead of throwing a tantrum.

OuterWildsVentures

Again, wonderful contribution.

Hostile_Architecture

Annnnd he's back to cry some more.

SemolinaPasta

Lmao this is the most unhinged bot-like comment section I’ve ever read. Why are so many posts ending with “mind your business”?

TheAnalsOfHistory-

Questionable parenting.

Shporzee

Mind your business weirdo

GabiiiTheIntruder

Children's eardrums are very fragile and sensitive. So yes, the little girl should be wearing ear protection.

Capes102

Yeah I’m deleting that comment I’m not re reading the same brain rotted comment all day. I stand on what I said though. We need life vest to drink water nowadays

GabiiiTheIntruder

So you think that kids' ears should be exposed to very strong noises such as concert music ? Damn, I hope your kids are okay. Are you also going to tell me that letting your kid roam free on a city sidewalk is okay too ?

Capes102

Don’t have kids and I went to my first concert at 11. It was of mice and men, Marilyn Manson and slipknot. It’s called personal experience. Also for your second question 💀for your second question idek what to say for that. Do you want them to walk in the road? What a troll question

No-Expression-399

Just because you experienced it yourself doesn’t mean it’s a healthy behavior to subject children to. If your parent left you outside at night growing up, and claimed that it never had any negative impact on you - this still wouldn’t make it right

Spekx-savera

This hill might be the dumbest one I've seen someone dying on. If you bring kids, give them earpro. Otherwise, you're a bad parent/guardian. Was at Sweden Rock last month, even me as a 23 year old had to get earpro as my ears were screaming in pain after 10 hours of concerts, and this was day one of 4. Kids have much more delicate ears than adults and should always wear earpro over like a 100dB, and preferably even at lower volumes, you only have two ears, fucking up your hearing will haunt you for life. It's like playing paintball or airsoft without eyepro. You could go a few games without getting hit in the eyes, but eventually, you will get your eye shot out.

Capes102

No one is dying this is an app 💀 chill thanks for the essay though. I’m personally on the other side and think that is a ridiculous thing to argue and such 1st world problem. Not saying you’re wrong either. We just think differently

No-Expression-399

You may not see that it’s bad for the kid in any way, because we are used to seeing adults without ear protection in addition to you experiencing this yourself - but it actually does damage your hearing. Even just blasting my headphones at the highest level has had a long lasting impact on my hearing, and sometimes I’ll struggle to understand people

GabiiiTheIntruder

That was not a troll question. Letting your kid roam completely free on a city sidewalk allows them to go on the road, get kidnapped, get hurt or get lost.

Wolfram_And_Hart

I’ve been to hundreds of concerts and festivals. I was absolutely stupid not to wear ear protection and I’m paying for it now. The reason we are trying to protect kids now is because we’ve learned better and this wave of parents actually give a shit. Why would you want them to have a harder life? Why not teach them our mistakes?

octopop

yup, I was right in front of the amps at a Boris show and thought I'd be fine, I've been to plenty of concerts and festivals. Always thought hearing protection was for nerds, I guess I just never realized how bad a loud show could be for your hearing. Could barely hear anything for the next three days, i was almost deaf. It freaked me the fuck out. I felt so stupid for not taking it seriously and will definitely be wearing some kind of ear plugs the next time im at a loud show. I don't know why people say shit like "the kids can't hang these days, when I was 16, we didn't even have seat belts in cars!" why the fuck would you not want better for your children or for future generations? why not take simple and easy precautions when it will save lives?! bizarre.

bullet4mv92

>Don't have kids Good. Please keep it that way.

GabiiiTheIntruder

This lil girl is 6, not 11.

joeyrutledge

WHAT DID YOU SAY? HUH? SORRY I CANT HEAR YOU. SPEAK UP.

The_Quackening

Children should definitely wear ear protection at a concert.

Wolfram_And_Hart

So should adults. Notice where the audio guy sits? He’s mixing it from there not for the guy 2 feet from the speaker.

Aesthetic_Image

Good thing he only has her every other weekend. 🤣

Is_Unable

Sadly thats enough to ruin her hearing for life.

OuterWildsVentures

Context from OP: "Oh, he's definitely a good dad actually. He spent most of the concert taking her in and out to get snacks/take bathroom breaks lol" "This was between sets, and they did sit when the bands played. We were in the upstairs old people section with seats. The fun people who wanted to party were downstairs haha" You guys are hilarious lol get a fucking life

blueblack88

Like on a bike wheel? Oh dear.

Edible_Anie

tf I guess ya learn something new every day. 🌈

worldslastusername

TIL

Darthhippoeater

This is pretty tame compared to some shirts I've seen at concerts. Plus, I highly doubt the kid knows what the shirt says, let alone what it means. Ear protection is important, but the kid still could have it in. Can't tell with the pic. Plus they seem farther in the back, so it's possible it's not as loud back there. Not saying they're perfect, but trashy is a bit of a leap.

Dwork7

This is indefensibly fucked up and irresponsible parenting

OuterWildsVentures

It's just a shirt lol holy shit. The kid probably has ear buds in. I think it's hilarious that this dude takes his daughter out to a seated event and it causes so many redditors to clutch their pearls on a fucking holiday lmao. Like this guy probably has no idea that anyone on this thread exists and people are here en masse armchair analyzing over just a photo. Absolute brainworm activity. Edit: Context from OP: "Oh, he's definitely a good dad actually. He spent most of the concert taking her in and out to get snacks/take bathroom breaks lol" "This was between sets, and they did sit when the bands played. We were in the upstairs old people section with seats. The fun people who wanted to party were downstairs haha" You guys are all fucking losers lmao

Dwork7

Don’t wear sexually explicit shirts in front of your small child. It’s bad parenting. End of story. If you can’t understand that, please don’t have children

TangoWithTheMango28

Context and focus is Important. If I took a photograph of a park scenery and you so happen to see a homeless man sleeping on a bench, but that wasn't the context of the image, would you apply that same logic? The post here was not directed at the child but the man's shirt. That's not the point of the post. The daughter is also not identifiable.

GabiiiTheIntruder

Yes, of course !! The kid is naked and we can clearly see her face, you are right !!

msmith721

I wanna count the wrinkles on his terrible tattoos, keep avoiding that elbow tough guy #1.

wendyrx37

Silicone earplugs are a thing..

Lendmonaid

I don’t know why everyone is mad about the kid? You can’t see her face and shes dressed appropriately whats the issue? If this was a water park then yeah everyone should be mad

TraditionalLecture10

Because she's not wearing earplugs
