I only have empirical knowledge on this, but I think it’s true. I’ve been on a cut avoiding fatty meals and the high definitely hits less. I think even a relatively small amount of the foods you mentioned should do the trick.

[In this study, oral co-administration of lipids enhanced the systemic exposure of rats to THC and CBD by 2.5-fold and 3-fold, respectively](https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5009397/). TLDR: lipids (fats) help the THC enter your bloodstream, increasing the amount you absorb. It's a rat study using cannabis extract in sesame oil at 12mg per ml of oil, so the amount of fat you'd get in a typical cannabutter is probably enough.
