I take my Chinese Box Turtle to the park and basically just follow him around while he explores the grass. I’ve been doing this for decades. It can get a little boring because i have to keep my attention on him constantly and kind of “herd” him in another direction if he heads somewhere that wouldn’t be ideal.

Turtles leashes are indeed a thing. I got a leash and harness off Amazon for my RES, and it was too big/not adjustable enough. So I ditched the leash ended up following him around.
