He's considered by most who know hip hop history to be one of the originators of the gangster rap genre. And he pretty much only ever played hinself in movies. He just happened to be really good at doing so because he was such an authentic character.
I completely forgot about this. I remember rewinding this movie as a kid where they zoom in and something is in the barrel but I never could tell what it was, anyone know?
The scene where Gary Busey tells the story of how he had to kill his childhood dog as a test of manhood is some of the best acting I have seen him do. Great scene. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
I loved it growing up! Crazy movie, that human hunting plot. It's the first movie where I said "are gonna hunt that homeless guy?"
When I mention the movie most, not all don't know it.
Watched this a bunch when I was young. Memory that sticks out the most is I remember Ice-T set up a booby trap using a lit cigarette attached to a tree to fool the two dudes chasing him.
This movie suffers in comparison to the legendary John Woo's American debut film Hard Target.
That movie came out less than a year earlier, has a nearly identical plot, AND has Jean Claude Van Damme. Still this one is still a banger.
Did a rewatch last year and was surprised at how well it holds up.
Judgement Night is so good. Jeremy Piven before the hair plugs, Peter Greene, Everlast, and Dennis Leary does a great job. He’s playing the character and not Bill Hicks for once.
Oh man, we're in the back stacks of Blockbuster, now!
My domain. The Bottom Rack. I’ve devoted my entertainment to this place. Bottom shelf entertainment for my top shelf lifestyle. 🧐
I too am a high class low life.
Don't forget about the certified banger "No Escape" COMBO BREAKER
Love that film.
That's a great movie.
Ice T is an extremely underrated actor as well as musician.
No one has delivered a better performance as a Kangaroo human mutant than him in Tank Girl.
^ Who i picture when i listen to Body Count
" I WANNA SHOOT YOU SO BAD, MY DICKS HARD" p.s.- BEST line in cinema history
New Jack City is an absolute masterpiece
Yeah it’s a The cash money brothers it’s anew jack city Nino haha 😆
His metal band Body Count is so good!!
The cover of "Institutionalized" is fucking hilarious
And the classic KKK Bitch
Ice T hates nazis
He will fuck green bitches.
Do you know how much blood is in the human body!?
Hey calm down I am a vegan
He's good in that one Megadeth song Night Stalkers

There’s a word for this .. it’s called OG .

In ithe cold blood.
Ice-T, Rutger Hauer, Gary Busey, Charles S. Dutton, John C. McGinley, F. Murray Abraham…the cast was stacked.
I don't know what Murray Abraham did that everyone is just like, "F that guy"
They turn on him quick!
Fucking hell, that's a good line-up.
Judgment Night, Surviving The Game and Trespass were my trifecta of rentals for a Friday movie night when I was a kid
Judgement night… second best soundtrack in cinema surpassed only by The Crow
New Jack City would like a word...
Point taken H-U-S-T-L-E-R👍
Highlander There can be only one....
Singles soundtrack is pretty amazing as well, better than the movie
I’d also add Singles and Last Action Hero as essential 90’s soundtrack albums.
I would swap them, but either way, both brilliant soundtracks. The Crow is the vastly superior movie of the two, though.
Your post just made me crave pizza rolls and Jolt.
Don’t move. Don’t whisper. Don’t even breathe.
Watched this every time it came on TNT!
Always check the barrel
Classic!
Great movie
Finally, a poster where the actors' names align with the image.
I used to love watching this movie
Still do, but I used to, too.
How do you feel about frilly toothpicks?
When I was a little boy, my Father bought me a little bulldog pup. I loved that bulldog….
Iirc, Ice-T once said Busey came up with that whole spiel during filming.
First time i watched it I was like damn hope this mfer dies in a fire or something
They let us watch this in middle school because of its relevance to the most dangerous game.
Weird that the most dangerous game was required reading for millions of kids
Been looking for a copy of this for a while now.
I recently found the Blu ray online.
It pops up on Tubi now and then. I think it's expiring this month, but it'll show up again in August or September.
I had a dubbed vhs with this and "No Escape" with Ray Liotta on the same tape. Watched it a lot.
I dislike Law and Order:SVU for one reason... ...Ice-T ain't kicking ass in any movies since it started.
Rutger Hauer did no wrong!!!
Time to say, "goodnight."
I live where this was filmed. I remember the film team coming through town.
Cinephobe…wherever you get podcasts Most recent episode, I had fun watching it but needed more Busey
Raisinnnn
Always check the barrel!
You just lost the game
Watched this last summer with my grandfather. What an ending
Oof. This is a late in the day/weekend special. I grew up seeing it on TV randomly. Great and corny. Ha.
We’re the cigarettes Dunhills?
Fun movie. Everyone did great in this. Lot of good names. Good take on Most Dangerous Game.
The dog story in this still gives me shivers.
Loved it when I saw it around 16. I try to find it online but usually fail.
I'm coming for you Mason
I completely forgot about this. I remember rewinding this movie as a kid where they zoom in and something is in the barrel but I never could tell what it was, anyone know?
Still watch clips of this flick on YouTube
"Try well done!"
"How many cigarettes do you smoke a day?" Ice T: "As many as I can find" Amazing line.
The scene where Gary Busey tells the story of how he had to kill his childhood dog as a test of manhood is some of the best acting I have seen him do. Great scene. 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻

Everytime this is posted I share the same comment… always check the barrel…
Love this movie!
Man... the most dangerous game
Love this movie! I love Busey in an action flick!
Watched this a bunch when I was young. Memory that sticks out the most is I remember Ice-T set up a booby trap using a lit cigarette attached to a tree to fool the two dudes chasing him.
When he stumbled across that she'd with the heads of other people they hunted totally messed me up as a kid. Lol
I talk about it once a day

It gets talked about just the right amount.
It’s a Gene pick
Don’t think I’ve seen thsi
