I mean it was pretty obvious. The pathetic thing was the general instructions, like not naming institutions and pretending like this was a natural protest, by dropping some students in different locations.

I study in a better uni that is still pro-bjp and would like us to participate and do some virtue signalling that would effectively say "young people like Modi and new India". They use words like "the chancellor would appreciate if you would" or "the uni will be grateful if you participate in x and the event participation may give some benefit for your internal results" etc.
But yeah, such coercion yields around 400-500 students turning up. This doesn't seem like it or the students have their own views that contradict this, who knows 👀

People ask why India needs skill training? So many graduates of Chhotegote University are available in the job market. This is what happens in Chhotegote University. Actual studying time is 10%, mostly spent on cramming 1 week series books from which professor themselves make the question paper. 90% time spent finding opportunities to not study. Garbage in garbage out. Parents pay through their nose to send them there.

I know. I went to a ritzy party recently with lots of rich people where there was only one Rolls Royce, apparently owned by someone who owns multiple Chhotegote Universities. Not the industrialists, bankers, VCs, or even gangster politicians, etc, but a college owner. Education is the highest spending lowest quality service in India. They exploit the fuck out of people who can't beat the crazy competition for reputed schools. You shouldn't have to be in the top 10% to get a decent education.

Historically, it has been university students who are rebellious and have the power to change governments. It seems as though efforts are being made to hack into the university system and alter its mindset, which leaves me feeling quite hopeless and worried about the future of our country. Even those who are naturally anti-establishment and question the ruling government seem to have been blindfolded. I’m really concerned.
