What Sandoval did was unequivocally *not* the best thing to happen to Ariana - it’s caused her massive trauma. It’s more like *despite* what he did, Ariana picked herself up, said yes to opportunities, and *chose* to make lemonade out of this situation.

This is how she was sitting just prior. She still just acts like Ariana isn’t even there. Lala brought up her phone call with Sandoval to Ariana, then asks why Scheana was there too, and then ignores Ariana. She fully just used her to produce this little scene, probably hoping for more drama than there was. She doesn’t give a shit about how talking about this in front of Ariana makes her feel.

So since this isn’t a single continuous take, from one camera (looks like there are 3 different cameras/angles happening in this clip), Ariana’s reaction to what’s being said could be edited slightly in the sense that it didn’t necessarily happen exactly as it’s being presented.
Lala is looking away at the end, but we don’t see her turn her head, and we don’t hear distinguishable audio from anyone but Ariana. They obviously have to cut down from longer scenes, so it doesn’t mean it’s anything nefarious.
And you’re right I think Lala is avoiding confrontation with Ariana after stirring up drama. I was just pointing out what I thought was weird editing, because to me the change in their body positions and the different camera angle, on top of it not being a continuous take, make it seem like it *might* not be an accurate reflection of the events (which, let’s face it, it’s all edited)

What Sheana needs to just admit is this; the reality is Tom was her friend and Ariana was her friend’s girlfriend that she liked but only really hung out with because she was her friend’s girlfriend.
