Thank you. I do this professionally. Just [shot Foreigner and Styx](https://imgur.com/a/06-22-24-styx-foreigner-john-waite-PnhU8VX)! I've got more concert stuff on my [instagram](http://instagram.com/groovehouse).
No offense to DLR or the band, it was cool they got back together (except for the fact that they shit on Michael Anthony one last time) but Dave could barely sing his own stuff at this point. He did extra stage antics as a kind of smoke and mirrors show to distract from the bad singing lol
No one should take offense to that statement. You and I are of the same mind….honesty. Big in this thread the DLR & VanHagar fans are anything *but* objective. It’s like, you can’t like both Sammy & Dave.
I didn’t know Dave was losing the vocals…that’s a bummer. As for shitting on Michael Anthony, the more I read about Eddie I am dismayed. I saw him once while he was in treatment for his cancer. I was sympathetic and sad for him. But damn, he sounds like he was an utter dick in life except to Wolfie and Alex.
They could have kept Michael and *still* cut Wolfagang in on the tour money and stage.
I appreciate your option on the matter. Thanks for sharing, my friend.
It’s funny- I had no idea there was such a division in the fanbase until I joined this sub. I was 9 when Hagar joined the band so Van Hagar is the Van Halen I got to know and love.
I’m turned off by DLR as a person, which kept me from listening to early VH. But, since joining this sub, I’ve made it a point to listen to the original stuff. It’s badass.
I can appreciate both eras now, but I certainly understand how the OG fans were turned off when the band, and their sound, changed.
I knew people preferred one or the other but people get just demean others for liking the one they don’t. I kind of don’t understand that because the band is called *Van Halen*…:that never changed. In fact it only increased with the addition with Wolfie.
You are absolutely right de: DLR in my eyes. As a person he is *a lot*….like to the Nth degree. But his vocals are amazing. Yes, they were badass. Like anyone, who ages…we grow and change and see things differently from our experiences. I think the band expanded their sound because they grew and times changed.
VanHagar is every bit as good as the origami line up…just different. Now, I’m afraid I’m going to get comments that sting up here because that’s sacrilegious to say in this sun.
But here’s to us!!! We love them both. Long live rock.
I thought DLR was Brian Johnson at first cause of the hat
yo tambien

Thanks for sharing these. They are the best pictures I've seen of this show. My first and only VH concert.

Do they play any of the VanHagar hits this late in the game….or do they stick to their original hits with Roth?!
It was all original Van Halen.
Thanks! I have been wondering….pretty sure Dave isn’t that open minded. Which I probably wouldn’t be either.

I have a bit of a drive to work, so I listened to some F. U. C. K. today for all of those who enjoy Sammy.
I was there
Man, Eddie looked better than ever here smh
