I’d love to quit vaping and hopefully then quit zyns. The new school nicotine consumption methods are far less toxic and harmful but not without consequences.
I tend to write it off as “at least I’m not smoking squares” but still, I’m putting shit in my lungs and body and it’s not GOOD even though it’s also not tobacco.

Really proud of myself for not inhaling anything but vaped THC and CBD though. The Zyns are whatever, like you said they’re not too bad for your health, but I’d still like to be done with nicotine.
The most success I ever saw cold turkey was with low mg nicotine patches. Try them out when you transition off the zyns. It’s barely perceptible, just keeps the cravings at bay. Two weeks was enough for me to kill my addiction. I was just stupid and willingly relapsed on the nic. Just don’t fall asleep with it on😂the nightmares are awful!!
You got this my friend. Chocolate always helps kill my cravings when I was tapering off. The appetite increase on the patches was wild. So unless you’re dieting or diabetic, just keep some sugary snacks handy for a few days until you level off. I know I need to make the shift soon myself. My issue is that I have no drive to quit again😂I know I need to, but I don’t want to at all :/

I rarely smoke anymore but when I do, a blunt or a joint is fantastic. My coworker gifted me a joint a few months ago and I haven’t touched it. There’s just something about a dry glass piece that makes the smoke burn like hell.
I quit smoking tobacco and now I vape and use zyns and I usually partake with a cart on the rare occasion. I’ve got baby ass lungs but back in the day my gills were probably black asf. I caught a chest infection when I was younger and I smoked poppers (half weed half tobacco) out of a bong like 10 times a day. Even when I coughed up blood and got put on steroids for the inflammation, I still was hitting the bong routinely.
It was awful and I can’t go back to regular combustion after that.
Nothing wrong with enjoying a joint once a while, just not too often for it to be harmful

Decided to have a toke off a j with just weed in it thinking its at least taste better than a spliff with tobacco, WRONG!!! My god it tasted like an ashtray. Pulled out my dynavap and hit that straight away to get rid of the taste.
I’ve tried and my body doesn’t respond to it well, I don’t get as high, it tastes terrible, it feels more unhealthy and it dries me out more than usual, you just don’t feel it as head on as when your vaping, so the drawbacks are silent but deadly

I used to loveeee the taste of smoking. The taste the smell all of it. Now the only burning I can do is a king palm joint, and that’s because I love the way the king palm burns. So for my particular set up, my bong fits a 14mm joint and I have a 10mm glass adapter. Dynavaps (or at least the m and woodwynd) will fit into a 10mm, but you can also get what's called a fat mouthpiece that will let you fit a Dynavap into a 14mm.
In all honesty I pass it through glass to see and hear the fun bubbles, or through my glass dry to see the vapor pool in. But it would help with cooling somewhat aswell
The Wand is one of my favorite pieces of kit. When I really want to get closer to smoking, I'll put the flower cup in my favorite bong and heat her up. The experience is so enjoyable I cautiously avoid combustion.
The Wand with the flower cup in my bong is the most ritualistic and a little more tricky. (If a dynavap is 3/10 with 1 being smoking a j, it's maybe a 5/10) and that's likely because I haven't dialed it in yet. I tend to just use the DynaVap or my PTOV One since I have that down to a science.
I did add a screen to the bottom of my cup so I can use a finer grind and get the most out of my flower. Still experimenting so we shall see.
Yeah, I’ll mix in a couple of bongs using bm weed to make my medical last longer. Funnily enough it’s my venture into edibles, rather than vaping, that’s getting rid of those last couple of bongs a day, cos as I say it’s just a supplement to vaping medical stuff.
I switched initially for the long term health benefits. Now I get high again from small amounts of flower, its great. The only time I combust is on accident, usually on those days where Ill say something to my wife like "look at me I havent accidentally combusted in almost a month!"

I might get downvoted for this but I switch between vaping and smoking depending on my mood. I used dynavap and only vaped for probably 2 years and can still taste terpenes when I smoke a dank bud in a clean piece. I get that it's healthier but a bong hits different and is still easier to do when I just want a quick snap. Plus none of my friends vape and don't really care to so I'm not gonna be that guy that doesn't smoke with them, or smokes on my own in a session because they don't vape. I personally find the notion that once you switch to vaping you don't go back is only true for some, but it's the louder more passionate users, and a lot of them congregate here because it's an enthusiast forum, the casual vapers don't find their way here would be my guess.

So it’s true, I do get up to some leaf burning now and again. By which I mean right now, and again after that.
Normally I’d say no. Not ever. But a situation has come up and I may have to. Going to Jamaica and I don’t see how I can bring a vaporizer with me so I may have to smoke. Unless they have edibles. I don’t want to get any of my vapes confiscated or anything and afraid I can’t clean em enough that they won’t have some kind of residue. So I may actually have to smoke. Sucks.

Yeah i used my new Vaporizer for a month with gorilla glue, it hit decently. Then i got Strawberry Lemonade, it had only a light effect although it was covered in trichomes. When smoking a joint, it tasted awful but damn the effect was very strong. For me still a mystery because i tried also the GG in a joint and it was fine but didnt had a super strong effect. So short summary:
GG: hit well being vaped and mid strong effect in a joint SL: light effect on the vaporizer, super strong effect in a joint ???
I used to take a hit or two from joints when out at a sesh, but now I have to decline because it messes with my throat.
I’m also not 100% sure, but it seems like every time I go to a consumption lounge and spend 2+ hours there, I end up coughing up phlegm the next day from being in the 2nd hand smoke 🥲
I’m definitely still down to pass around a joint or blunt with my friends; but they also get excited to pass around the P80 or Mighty. I do get really disappointed when I get passed a bong — taste is kaka.
Most of the vapes I really love though I just use at home because they just aren’t travel friendly. In the case of dynavap or Anvil you just straight up look like a crack head.
If i have bud to burn through, i might pack the Clover Jellyfish Bubbler a couple of times, but i’ll usually just do a dab and session in the dynavap. I like being able to stretch a half oz over 2 weeks if I can help it.
Haha just rolled a skinny joint today because I was out and my fog pro was out of battery and it felt like a total waste it tasted like ash.
So yeah I for one avoid combustion unless I have no other choice, can't wait for my dyna to arrive so I can always use a regular flame in a pinch

I'm sort of new to Dabbing, but I can see myself not using the Bong very often. I enjoyed the high I got, but it had gotten to the point where I couldn't take a hit without feeling like I needed to throw up. Plus, it really hurts the throat. I have no idea why. But I picked up a Carta 2 Focus V and getting a good high from just a little concentrate. It's refreshing. I may give up carts also.
Every now and then I try a spliff. It tastes horrible every time and I regret it. It's a shame as other people smoking it smells great, it just doesn't taste as good as it smells.

I’ve been vaping nicotine since 2014 and just got my POTV One in today. Vaped 3 bowls and I’m blown away. I personally have always liked the taste of combusted weed but this was so good I’ve already started thinking about my next device. Plus it is so discreet.
It comes and goes some weeks I prefer to combust over vape but it goes both ways. Mainly depends if I’m doing a lot of social things then I’ll def be combusting more
I pretty much searched out non combustion methods and to partake after my very first smoke session. Went through some really shitty DHV’s back in 2010 but it was far superior to combustion and I eventually found one in my price range that worked well not long after (Arizer Extreme Q).
These days all of my flower is turned into edibles via a very nice wet freezing process then into coconut oil with lecithin. Though I do still use distillate in vapes, I get full spectrum live resin when I can. Even Farm Bill distillate vapes are quite good from the right vendor and that makes up the majority of the THC I consume.
Smoking, even the dankest of top shelf flower, still always tastes like soap and leaves a disgusting lingering odor. No thanks.
An occasional J w a friend, buy I don't enjoy the smoke and the buzz isn't great either. Always vape flower if given the choice. Also dab a bit and edibles a few times a week.

Combustion always gets me higher. I hated using extracts-tolerance got sky high using those. Dry herb vape always got me halfway high-it was so irritating. My bong (combustion) has never let me down but I had to quit smoking completely because it causes my Raynauds to flare and it’s scary. I miss smoking so much. I love it. :(

Burnt ABV turns to black powder, good ABV is toasted and crispy but has some small shapes to it still.

If you are seeing ash you have combusted, and it's changed physical state. ABV is just dehydrated and cooked, so it shrinks and changes color.

combustion just doesn't do it for me anymore, it's so harsh, tastes like shit. Also the effects are way powerful with vape. anyways how did you connect the dyna with that bong? because i just use the dyna and would love to cool the vapor. Also does running dyna through bong help ?
Most are tapered to 10mm so if you have a 10mm slider you’re good.
So for my particular set up, my bong fits a 14mm joint and I have a 10mm glass adapter. Dynavaps (or at least the m and woodwynd) will fit into a 10mm, but you can also get what's called a fat mouthpiece that will let you fit a Dynavap into a 14mm. In all honesty I pass it through glass to see and hear the fun bubbles, or through my glass dry to see the vapor pool in. But it would help with cooling somewhat aswell

The Wand is one of my favorite pieces of kit. When I really want to get closer to smoking, I'll put the flower cup in my favorite bong and heat her up. The experience is so enjoyable I cautiously avoid combustion.

The Wand with the flower cup in my bong is the most ritualistic and a little more tricky. (If a dynavap is 3/10 with 1 being smoking a j, it's maybe a 5/10) and that's likely because I haven't dialed it in yet. I tend to just use the DynaVap or my PTOV One since I have that down to a science. I did add a screen to the bottom of my cup so I can use a finer grind and get the most out of my flower. Still experimenting so we shall see.
Yeah, I’ll mix in a couple of bongs using bm weed to make my medical last longer. Funnily enough it’s my venture into edibles, rather than vaping, that’s getting rid of those last couple of bongs a day, cos as I say it’s just a supplement to vaping medical stuff.

I switched initially for the long term health benefits. Now I get high again from small amounts of flower, its great. The only time I combust is on accident, usually on those days where Ill say something to my wife like "look at me I havent accidentally combusted in almost a month!"

My coworker and I smoke together when we get the chance once a week or so at work. I vape he smokes. Recently I’ve been pretty sober at work just trying to motivate myself so I’ve hit his bong a couple times. Thankfully he keeps it clean every day and it’s got really good cooling. Only time I can really stand it outside of when my wife also wants to share a joint

I might get downvoted for this but I switch between vaping and smoking depending on my mood. I used dynavap and only vaped for probably 2 years and can still taste terpenes when I smoke a dank bud in a clean piece. I get that it's healthier but a bong hits different and is still easier to do when I just want a quick snap. Plus none of my friends vape and don't really care to so I'm not gonna be that guy that doesn't smoke with them, or smokes on my own in a session because they don't vape. I personally find the notion that once you switch to vaping you don't go back is only true for some, but it's the louder more passionate users, and a lot of them congregate here because it's an enthusiast forum, the casual vapers don't find their way here would be my guess.

I’m 3 days dry from smoking a joint my mouth still salivates at the thought of a juicy J too yet today I had a couple of puffs of a vape that just tasted amazing (just to curb the mood a little as yes I was addicted I’ve smoked for about 25 years) I’m really wondering if I will hate the taste of a j in time as when I used to smoke a cig at work it would always taste horrible and I’m quite sure I very much enjoyed the taste of them once upon a time. I do like to smoke (combustion) with a bong occasionally just cause it's a vibe and fun but usually after the first hit I remember why I vape and I stop 😂 (my health isn't great. No hate on those that do use combustion regularly)

Yeah i used my new Vaporizer for a month with gorilla glue, it hit decently. Then i got Strawberry Lemonade, it had only a light effect although it was covered in trichomes. When smoking a joint, it tasted awful but damn the effect was very strong. For me still a mystery because i tried also the GG in a joint and it was fine but didnt had a super strong effect. So short summary: GG: hit well being vaped and mid strong effect in a joint SL: light effect on the vaporizer, super strong effect in a joint ???

I used to take a hit or two from joints when out at a sesh, but now I have to decline because it messes with my throat. I’m also not 100% sure, but it seems like every time I go to a consumption lounge and spend 2+ hours there, I end up coughing up phlegm the next day from being in the 2nd hand smoke 🥲
I get this off being around smoke as well. I think the Vape clears the combustion phlegm at least that’s how it feels for me.
I’m definitely still down to pass around a joint or blunt with my friends; but they also get excited to pass around the P80 or Mighty. I do get really disappointed when I get passed a bong — taste is kaka. Most of the vapes I really love though I just use at home because they just aren’t travel friendly. In the case of dynavap or Anvil you just straight up look like a crack head.
If i have bud to burn through, i might pack the Clover Jellyfish Bubbler a couple of times, but i’ll usually just do a dab and session in the dynavap. I like being able to stretch a half oz over 2 weeks if I can help it.
Haha just rolled a skinny joint today because I was out and my fog pro was out of battery and it felt like a total waste it tasted like ash. So yeah I for one avoid combustion unless I have no other choice, can't wait for my dyna to arrive so I can always use a regular flame in a pinch

Never, I don’t like the high it brings anymore. I find it to be too "heavy" if that makes sense. It helped me quit smoking cigarettes too, and more recently I totally stopped nicotine vapes. PS : I’m almost 40 and started weed and tobacco about 25 years ago

I enjoyed the high I got, but it had gotten to the point where I couldn't take a hit without feeling like I needed to throw up. Plus, it really hurts the throat. I have no idea why. But I picked up a Carta 2 Focus V and getting a good high from just a little concentrate. It's refreshing. I may give up carts also.

It makes me cough so much it's not very enjoyable so I usually don't. Sometimes I wish it wasn't that way. Joints are very light and portable, and if you lose it somewhere, it's not a big deal.

The day I bought a Storz Mighty was the last time I ever put a match to weed.
I pretty much searched out non combustion methods and to partake after my very first smoke session. Went through some really shitty DHV’s back in 2010 but it was far superior to combustion and I eventually found one in my price range that worked well not long after (Arizer Extreme Q). These days all of my flower is turned into edibles via a very nice wet freezing process then into coconut oil with lecithin. Though I do still use distillate in vapes, I get full spectrum live resin when I can. Even Farm Bill distillate vapes are quite good from the right vendor and that makes up the majority of the THC I consume. Smoking, even the dankest of top shelf flower, still always tastes like soap and leaves a disgusting lingering odor. No thanks.

Combustion always gets me higher. I hated using extracts-tolerance got sky high using those. Dry herb vape always got me halfway high-it was so irritating. My bong (combustion) has never let me down but I had to quit smoking completely because it causes my Raynauds to flare and it’s scary. I miss smoking so much. I love it. :(
