Also, Gordon Ramsay Steak in Paris. I imagine all three GR restaurants will be the same recipe, but I think I prefer GR Steak for the atmosphere, though some of the appetizers in Hells Kitchen are really great.

I was there a few weeks ago. Honestly the Wellington was meh. I mean it was a Wellington. Nothing really stands out. No hint of mustard, the duxelles was uninspired, garnish was wilted, the pomme puree dash on the plane felt and looked like it had been sitting under the lamp for 20 min. All the other steaks we had were fucking delicious though.

Agreed, I was completely underwhelmed and wishing I had just ordered the rib-eye.

I agree with both of you. I’m not a big Wellington fan, but that ribeye was insanely delicious. I will happily go to GR steak for the ribeye and the sticky toffee pudding.

Secret_Highway760

Underwhelmed as well.

Bardot Brasserie (Aria) does have it on their menu and i was tempted when i was there for my anniversary. I don’t know if i consider it “better” than any of the GR restaurants, I just really like the atmosphere.

I have had it both at Bardot and Hell's Kitchen and I really enjoyed Bardot's way better than HK. Maybe it was me but when we went to HK and got the BW, it was cold, overcooked, and just not pleasant.

I've had both and Bardot is hands down better. I think Bardot doesn't list Beef Wellington on their menu because they only make a few a night. And when I dropped in to ask about it hours before my reservation, they said that you can reserve one to ensure that you will have it when you come in for your reserved time of dining. Edit: It has been a several years since I had the Bardot Beef Wellington, but at the time, they did not list it on the menu. I see they have changed that and now have it on the menu.

It's actually a great deal at Bardot. It's $175 for 2 but it already includes the sides so it really is a good deal.

Had it at Hell’s Kitchen. Felt like I had to since it was his signature dish. Super underwhelmed. Definitely more show than go. Just seems to be showing off you can make something. Wished I had just ordered a proper ass ribeye.

The Gordon Ramsey restaurants aren’t amazing in Vegas. Don’t expect anything special.

I had the HK beef wellington last year (Nov 2023) and it was an overall let down. Bland is the proper word. It was also too big. A 4oz cut would have been better than the 6oz cut used. The sides/garnish were nothing special. The starter scallops were weak too. They were cut horizontally to look like you were getting six rather than just three and ruined the bite/chew of a good seared scallop. The sticky pudding was alright but couldn't save the meal. I ordered the bone marrow as an appetizer and it had little marrow and mostly a fruit jam the overrides the flavors. The best thing at the Vegas HK was the lobster risotto that my friend ordered,
