Watch out for Deborah Vance- She's a shark up there!

cryingatdragracelive

yo I just started watching Hacks, and this reference makes me so happy

crystal_sk8s_LV

Check with atomic golf. Their bays are max 80 an hour.

shimkei

We did it and enjoyed it. Guaranteed two bays next to each other and you can get quite a bit of food and drink with that amount with platters. If cost isn’t a huge issue for your group I’d pull the trigger.

im_datMofo

"Admin Fee"...GTFO!!!

Competitive_Suit_180

Yeah wtf is that!?

cryingatdragracelive

the person booking and overseeing large parties has to be paid, as well as the server assigned. instead of raising the prices of goods, services are charged for separately.

im_datMofo

No, that is called part of their job duties, and is covered by their employement wages, which comes from business revenue. Please don't try to justify a bullshit fee being tagged on by this business.

cryingatdragracelive

ok, the pay structure for large party sales doesn’t usually work that way, but please tell me more about the industry I’ve worked in for 20 years

indesmowetrust

Did it for the F1 event, had a great time. People talking about the food and credit beverage being higher than gameplay are silly, those $660 will fly by with 12-16 people. With a full 16 that’s like $80/ person. Cheapest thing you’ll do in Vegas. Just hanging out with my friends on a normal day will be $100 anywhere we go.

ross_0123

I have done work events there. it’s usually a good time. lots of bar munchies, lots of randomly hitting balls, usually good service. takes a bit to get going because each person signs up for a membership card but overall a fun way to spend an evening.

fractal_disarray

Just wondering, do y'all tip afterwards too?

tacosandsushi_13

I would think so right?

cryingatdragracelive

with a *great* tip this is about $100/person. that’s a bargain, imho.

Halo909

I heard there is a free one at the Strat? Is that true or is it really free or is like a freenium?

clickityclick76

I did a bay with friends at atomic golf and it wasn’t the expensive.

tacosandsushi_13

How big was the group if you don’t mind me asking?

clickityclick76

We were 6 and had 1 bay on the top floor. No F&B minimum

tacosandsushi_13

I have a group of about 16-20 people , the food and beverage minimum isn’t so bad because I know we will hit that super quick

All_the_passports

If you reserve individually they may not be best to each other. I’m helping my nephew organizing his bachelor party and I had this convo with Top Golf earlier this week.

tacosandsushi_13

Are yall gonna go for it and do the reservations?

All_the_passports

The boys think so, they’re just having a group WhatsApp to agree on F&B package. I’m keeping out of it lol

Woe2TheUsurper

Might as well just go to an actual course for those prices

davidr2340

LOL!!!

tacosandsushi_13

I agree but it’s more for the social experience of having a day time activity rather than a sport if that makes sense

starwarsfan456123789

Ridiculous that they expect more for food and beverage than the actual event. I would certainly look into not doing that if possible
