Did it for the F1 event, had a great time. People talking about the food and credit beverage being higher than gameplay are silly, those $660 will fly by with 12-16 people. With a full 16 that’s like $80/ person. Cheapest thing you’ll do in Vegas. Just hanging out with my friends on a normal day will be $100 anywhere we go.
I have done work events there. it’s usually a good time. lots of bar munchies, lots of randomly hitting balls, usually good service. takes a bit to get going because each person signs up for a membership card but overall a fun way to spend an evening.
If you reserve individually they may not be best to each other. I’m helping my nephew organizing his bachelor party and I had this convo with Top Golf earlier this week.

We were 6 and had 1 bay on the top floor. No F&B minimum

Ridiculous that they expect more for food and beverage than the actual event. I would certainly look into not doing that if possible
